Crystal Tower sits just across the street from the white-sand beach in Gulf Shores, to which a convenient and safe sky bridge connects it. The property is located half a mile west of Highway 59, home to such family-friendly attractions as Waterville USA, Pirate's Island Adventure Golf, and the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo. Spend a morning exploring Gulf State Park (two miles east), hit the links at the Craft Farms Golf Club (six miles north) or the Peninsula Golf & Racquet Club (eight miles west), or time your visit to attend the Hangout Music Festival or Gulf Shores Shrimp Fest. You can book fishing charters and dolphin cruises nearby at the Orange Beach Marina and Zeke's Marina.

Wonderful location!! Spacious condo that even has its own laundry room! Hot water heater big enough to support both showers at the same time, which is beneficial when trying to get the entire family ready to go eat.

Great location and amenities

We loved our stay with Vacasa in Gulf Shores. It was perfect for our family with two smaller kids. They loved all of the pools, especially the one closest to the beach. Having the beach so close was great as well. We spent lots of time going to both places. Inside the condo was very nice. The updated appliances were great. Elevators can take a little time during busy hours, but we were prepared for that. Overall, great stay and would love to return some day.

Nice place to stay

Our place was clean when we arrived and was nice. The shower in the guest bathroom drained very slow and some of the outside furniture had broken legs. We definitely enjoyed our time here.

Everything was as described! Construction was going on literally right outside our door and above us which was very loud and annoying. Wasnt notifed of the construction scheduled until after the reservation was made.

Complex is fine with great location. Common area furniture is beyond itā€™s comfort life. Condo condition is good, furniture is the shortcoming for the price.

Cool place!

The Crystal Towers were a very well maintained property. The amenities were great, especially the private skywalk to the beach. Our condo has a nice view of the ocean and an even better view of the bay out the front door. My only suggestion would be to invest in new mattresses or at least some good foam toppers. The beds were extremely firm and we could feel the springs. Other than this, we would stay here again!

Great Property

We loved our stay. The balcony facing the ocean was large and perfect. The 3 pools and direct access to the ocean was so nice. The condo does need a good deep cleaning. There were cobwebs around the light fixtures and dust on the base boards. But overall was a clean property. The shower head in the master bathroom broke off the first time we went to use it but it was repaired while we were there. The tubs did fill with water easy and drain slow. Despite some small issues we loved this property. Great place to stay!

The overall location was not what I thought. There was no beach, my family had to end up going down to the public beach the entire stay and pay because there was no beach. And when someone came to do general maintenance on the condo while my family was out for the morning they didnā€™t shut the door back leaving the door open. And the company had no response or comments but I was sorry very disappointed.

The location was fantastic. The cleanliness however was not. The first day there our feet were black from the floors. Along the baseboards looked like things were spilled and never cleaned (one good cleaning can last a long time) and the side of one of the bed linens was ripped and stained. Under the beds were both full of dirt and small debris. The televisions had 3 remotes and were not completely user friendlyā€¦. A bit outdated for sure. Our check out time was 10am and the cleaning gal was there at 930am seeing if we were gone yet. Used the gym for a moment and there was absolutely no moving air or widows to open and wasnā€™t very good environment for a new guest.

Crystal Tower is the best

I love these condos. This particular unit wasnā€™t as posh as the one I stayed in before (king bed and sofas could use an upgrade). However, it was perfect for us and our trip. And I would totally stay there again.

All, but...

It was all nice except there is no usable comfortable seating. The 2 couches are in aged disrepair. The brown one sinks to the floor...springs and cushions are shot. The white one shown in the picture smells of old body odor, as well as being so old that the cushions and arms are flat... So, when you return from a fun day, and want to relax in front of the TV, you will need to use the balcony chairs. There is no blanket in the condo, and the sheets are way too short on both beds. The building and amenities are terrific, even though the "lazy river" pool and walkway were closed for renovations. Elevators worked perfectly for us. Vacasa was slow responding, but eventually helped with cleaning the floors and repairing HVAC and a few other issues. Call the local Vacasa office to get a more timely response. Bring blankets, sheets and couches!

2021 Vacation

The area was great. View from condo was the best. Loved the walk over and the three different pools. Condo could have been cleaner. Top surfaces clean but underneath shelves and behind doors very dusty. Air conditioner room needs cleaning, full of dust, which blows right back into the rooms. Floors had been swept but not moped very well. Bottom of white socks were black after walking on floor. Kitchen and master bath sinks dripped badly. Mattresses were extremely hard. Brown sofa needs replacing. Sister sat on it and almost hit the floor hurting her back. Had to clean washing machine before using it. Was full of sand and black marks on inside of tub. Never could get DVD to work and remote in living room needed batteries. Elevators were horrible. Had to use stairs twice from seventh floor. Need to have one for luggage etc. only and the other two for people might work better. Kitchen had just about everything you would need. Stove and refrigerator very clean. Need better cleaning people. Used the vacuum but it smelled very bad. Put a broom and dust pan in the storage room. Furnishing were old but nice except for that brown sofa and mattresses. Would I stay there again , yes. So much better than staying in a hotel. And we were surprised at how quite it was.
