This fabulous beachfront condominium is located right in the heart of Orange Beach, adjacent to the warm surf and the soft sands. This gorgeous, family-friendly condo offers a deep, furnished balcony with stunning Gulf views, a contemporary living area, and a well-equipped, gourmet kitchen. Summer House offers its guests a host of deluxe amenities including a beachside outdoor pool, indoor pool, grilling area, fitness room, tennis court, basketball court, and dry sauna.

Less than three miles up the coast, discover fine dining, boutique shopping, and a full-featured marina offering opportunities for deep sea fishing, diving, and other watersports, all at SanRoc Cay Marina. For a day of outdoor adventure, hike or cycle the miles of trails that wind throughout nearby Alabama Gulf State Park. And find fun, family-friendly attractions at places like Adventure Island, less than a mile away, and Waterville USA, only six miles from this rental.

THINGS TO KNOW
Please note that group rentals are not allowed at Summer House on Romar Beach. No more than 5 units may be rented for groups of any kind. Any bookings found to be in violation of this policy will result in a fine of $500.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Nice Condo, but I didn't love the property lay out

It was as pictured, great balacony with plenty of seating. The condo was clean and well equipped. The beds were comfortable and they provided plenty of extra blankets and pillows. The property is under construction, which is distracting when you are on the balcony or at the pool. I wish they gave a better timeline on when construction was. You also have to walk around the building in the parking lot to the pool/beach access.

Great location!

The convenience of this facility is a big draw. There is construction going on to upgrade the building, but we didn’t have any issues with it. For the price we paid and the short time we were there, it was just fine.

Awful

No parking. Construction. Had to cross busy highway. Stayed on 12th floor. Both elevators down at times. Sister has heart condition. Wife got infection. Awful! Misleading advertisement.

Great view and place

Everything was great from the inside of the condo to the amazing views from the large balcony. I’ve stayed here before and will always come back to 1204A. The condo was clean, great amenities and comfortable furniture and beds. This place is top on my list of places to stay.

Nice place but no host

The place and location is great but there's no host. First time I opened the living room door to the balcony, the handle was broke so hand slipped and sliced open my finger. Tried to call vacasa and was routed to a call center. After ten minutes on hold I gave up. The water heater is set so high the faucets will burn you in seconds. The washing machine is so loud it sounds like a diesel truck running in the living room. Terrible neighbors, we had to squeeze by all they're beach stuff to get in or out of our door because they had stuff piled up taking up most the entry way. I've never stayed at a VRBO that didn't have a host that could be contacted when needed. Will never stay at any property manager by vacasa.

Summer House in May

Facility was nice and well kept. Had no problems other that determining what room I was staying in, luckily the guard keeping the gate knew. No problems :)

Nice Condo

Upon our arrival, housekeeping did not make it to this condo with sheets, bath/kitchen towels, toilet paper... After a couple call/texts, I got a representative named Jackie. She got someone from the Regional office to help us get what we needed, by 10pm. I made all of the beds and put away all of the towels. It was not what I wanted to do after a 7.5 hour drive but we were able to enjoy our vacation and very thankful we didn't have to wait until the next morning. After that, we enjoyed our stay. Beautiful view. Love the convenience of the condo right on the beach and great restaurants all around.

Comfortable and Convenient

This was our third stay in Gulf Shores / Orange Beach. This condo is located in a great part of OB with easy access to shops but not overly congested. We spent a lot of time at the pools which are large and not too hard to find a chair. The condo had plenty of comfy seating inside and fantastic furniture on the balcony for our family. Kitchen had all the necessities including starter packs of soap, detergent, etc. Summer House is an older building but this condo has updated kitchen and bath fixtures. The only disappointment was that the bedding and pillows need to be updated as they were showing signs of wear, and most pillows were flat. The second bathroom also had a clogged tub and it was very difficult to find a comfortable water temperature for that shower. All in all a good place at a fair price.

Great place to stay

The condo was clean and comfortable. Everything you look for when on vacation. I was kind of skeptical looking at the reviews but I have no complaints. The indoor pool was closed but hey the beach was better.

Relaxing Stay

1204A was a great a unit. We loved the the large balcony and the view. The furniture was nice and very little wait for an elevator even though it was busy with fall-breakers. Would definitely stay here again.

Family Beach Fun

Summer House Condo

Overall the experience was very good. If I could make one suggestion… the entrance door is desperately in need of a coat of paint. My first impression was not good upon entering the property and I was afraid of what I would find behind the front door. However, the overall condo and furnishings were quite adequate and we enjoyed our time there. I would highly recommend spending a couple hundred bucks to get the front door sanded and painted. I would rent it again.

Great large, clean space!

My husband, two kids, and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was larger than we expected and the large balcony patio was amazing. This is the first condo we’ve stayed in that we could absolutely see ourselves booking again! The walk to the pool and beach were short and convenient even with two toddlers in tow!

Clean and spacious!

The location was great- wonderful views of the ocean. The building is a little older- but overall still a wonderful place. My main concern was cleanliness- which this place was definitely clean! It was very spacious for our family- and the balcony is larger than most- allowing everyone to comfortably go out and enjoy. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances, plates, bowls, cooking utensils, pots, pans etc. Be prepared to bring your own coffee, filters, salt, pepper or any other items needed to cook with. It is a perfect place for vacation and we will definitely be back!
