Waterfront, Pool, Beach!

This vacation home is a corner unit and has views of the Intercoastal waterway from the oversized deck and the living room. The beach is located just across the street. Island Splash Vacation Home is the closest to the pool for a quick dip.

Walkable to restaurants, a convenience store, equipment rental, wine shop, trolley, and sunset views.

Beach towels and some random gear is located in the laundry room. Walk just 2 buildings to the north and cross the street to access the beach.

Pets: Dogs & Cats are allowed. A charge of $150 per pet is required. Up to two pets per visit. Be sure to get pre-approval before bringing any pets.

Master bedroom has a king bed and full bathroom attached. Guest room has a queen bed and is next to the hallway bathroom with shower. Dining table is between the kitchen and patio. Additional dining set up on the patio with water views. Work station next to the front door or you can use the kitchen island if you're working from home.

Upon arrival, park your cars (2 fit nicely) tandem style under our unit, which is closest to the pool. Walk up to the 1st floor of condos and use your access code to enter the unit.

Misleading description of property and uncooperative host

If you're looking for a house or townhouse, this is neither of those. This is and feels like an apartment. There are two flights of open stairs leading to the apartment, which is not mentioned in the listing. We rented this property as it was listed as a "house" with no mention of steps. When we arrived, the parking situation was horrible and there were two flights of open steps in a dark corridor leading to the unit. When we contacted the owner regarding our inability to stay there due to an elderly family member unable to climb stairs and our 100 pound dog that does not do steps, her response was "we don't accommodate the handicapped" and refused to be fair about a partial refund after we spent only 8 hours staying there after traveling 15 hours and finding a hotel for our elderly family member to stay at. It was a nightmare and Kay-Tee was not interested at all in our predicament due to her misleading description of her property. Aside from that, her "welcome book" is about 20 pages long of fees she is going to charge you if you do this or that (including a fee if you leave a towel in the tub) along with other ridiculous rules. The beach is across the street but their access is down the street and a bit of a truck if you're carrying things. I will not be back and recommend you look elsewhere unless you want a lot of rules, an apartment feel with dirty stares from neighbors, and a very inconsiderate host.

Absolute perfect getaway

The property is exactly what the pictures show. No surprises and no disappointments. Perfect in every way, location, views, furnishings, close and easy beach access, walking distance to great restaurants and shops. Every vacation has memorable places to do things and great places to eat but what makes a vacation so memorable is that you get to come home every evening and truly relax in this very comforting condo. Already planning our trip back.

Great place

The condo was very clean. Very close to the beach. The only one thing that I didn't like was the queen bed was very uncomfortable and hard. I slept on that bed a few nights and it was to hard for me. Overall we loved everything about the condo.

We love to travel. After experiencing the many ups and downs of vacation rentals as travelers, we decided to create a vacation space that we are proud to share with other guests. Something about the gulf breeze, sunny weather, and smiling people, drew us to Pinellas County, FL which boasts coastal towns and barrier islands that are surrounded by water. We found a little piece of paradise in Indian Shores and then another in St Pete Beach and then another in Indian Shores. And then we discovered the charm of Tarpon Springs so we now have beautiful homes in the downtown area, near the sponge docks and water activities, as well. We really enjoy hosting these vacation homes and hope you'll enjoy them as much as we do. Most recently, we opened a vacation house with pool in Tampa which is now welcoming guests.

We absolutely love the view and the breeze on the patio! Perfect spot to enjoy dinner or morning coffee. Also a quiet stretch of the beach is across the street.
