Bright, Cozy Bungalow With Lighthouse Views, Two Minutes Away from the Beach

Our three bedroom bungalow is located on the westernmost street in Kismet and opens out onto a nature preserve. Our top deck gives you uninterrupted views of the Fire Island Lighthouse and is a great place to gather while watching the sunset over the bay.

At our place, you get almost as much outdoor space on our large, newly rebuilt deck, as you do inside our bright bungalow. Our large deck is perfect for sunbathing, grilling, entertaining and eating outdoors. Our new outdoor shower is great for relaxing after a day in the sun.

Inside, our home features an airy, open plan kitchen, dining room and living room, perfect for families and entertaining. Three large sliding doors bring lots of light into the space and allow you to enjoy the best of both indoors and outdoors -- the deck is basically an extension of the living room! The simple decor allows you to instantly get away from the clutter of every day life while our fully stocked kitchen allows you to prepare and enjoy meals together. Three clean, minimally decorated bedrooms where you can get a great night's rest falling asleep to the sound of the ocean.

Our house does not have a TV and we prefer it that way. If you want to watch a game, join the locals at our town bar, The Kismet Inn. We do have fast, reliable wifi. Other amenities include ceiling fans, central air coniditioning, heat (for Spring and Fall rentals), an outdoor shower, and a washer and dryer. We have a large outdoor grill for barbecuing as well as beach towels, umbrellas and a few bicycles for you to use during your stay.

We like to think that staying at our place is like staying at the vacation home of a family friend, it's cozy, inviting, and feels worlds away from the stresses of daily life. We are a five minute walk from the ferry dock and downtown Kismet, the tennis courts, playground, and our bayside "downtown" area where you will find two restaurants, a general store, a pizza shack and a liquor store.
