This cozy cottage is located just one house away from the Great South Bay, and it's only a 2-minute walk to the bay swimming area, playground and the best dining and shopping spots in town. The house is sunny and bright, with hardwood floors. The kitchen is open-concept and well-equipped, with quartzite stone counters and a breakfast bar. There's a dining area that can comfortably seat six people. The two cozy bedrooms are air-conditioned and come with queen beds and beautiful linens. The living room's loveseat can also be converted into a twin bed.

The private wrap-around deck is perfect for dining out, with a gas BBQ and two separate areas to enjoy meals, whether you prefer dining under the stars or beneath shady market umbrellas. There are comfy lounge chairs for sunning, and a spacious outdoor shower to rinse off after a day at the beach. Modern amenities like FIOS Wireless Internet and a flat-screen HD TV with premium channels are provided.

This peaceful haven has everything you need to feel at home. All you need to bring is your toothbrush and bathing suit. Beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, and a wagon are also provided, making this home the perfect place to create new vacation memories. Life here is easy, convenient, and fun!

Guests have private access to the entire house.

Ocean Beach is the unofficial capital of Fire Island and has the greatest number of restaurants and shops. Overflowing with a small-town charm reminiscent of a simpler time, main street walks are lined with mom-and-pop markets and boutiques. Local children sell painted shell souvenirs out of red wagons. Just outside of town, Ocean Beach walkways are lined with a mix of traditional summer cottages and modern houses. The house is perfectly located setback fromthe bay near the town and all that the town offers. Close to the life-guarded swimming area and waterfront playground with plenty of fun things for the kids to play on while you relax on one of the many benches or Gazebo, and enjoy the most spectacular view.

We are pet friendly andlove dogs, but you MUST ask before booking, as sometimes guests who are very allergic have booked after you and we need to ensure that we provide a safe space for them, too. Please provide information such as age, breed, weight, if it is house-trained, or crate-trained, how much barking to expect and for how long it will be left alone at a time.

This is a Beach House. There is no Central Heating but Space Heaters are provided, if there is a chill.

Above all else, we value your privacy and are happy with whatever level of interaction you wish.

No cars are permitted, so water taxis, walking and biking are the best ways to navigate the island.
