Folding glass wall between living room and terrace disappears into side wall allowing a sweeping view of the ocean from the front door. Master bedroom opens onto terrace with a private infinity pool.

Two bedroom and den with DSL, Vonage phone, and stereo with ipod connection. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to prepare a gourmet meal.

Five minute walk to La Ropa beach. Spend your days on the beach, at one of two pools or in the luxury of your own private pool.

Great Condo!

We had a wonderful week in Zihua! The condo was perfect for us! Great set up, great location, with gorgeous views. Barbara was so easy to work with, she even sent us a beautiful fresh flower arrangement! Everyone we encountered was happy, friendly and helpful. You can walk to the beach or to town, but itā€™s easy to get a cab ride if you prefer. Many thanks to Barbara and Ed for sharing thisā€™s great condo! I highly recommend!

A spectacular villa!

From start to finish our stay exceeded our expectations. Barbara has thought of everything! Her Zihua home is absolutely stunning; it is modern, clean and well appointed. The villa contains everything you possibly need. It is spacious and very comfortable with a terrific offiice/library, a well stocked kitchen, extremely comfortable beds, and breathtaking views. The property manager and housekeeper were attentive and wonderful to deal with. The building was quiet and we really enjoyed the spectacular infinity pool.

Gorgeous Home with Beautiful Views

This property is a home, not just a rental! The beautifully curated art is a joy, the plunge pool was a welcome respite after a day of adventuring, the cupboards well stocked made cooking so easy and the dregs from the liquor cabinet welcomed us with a drink when we arrived. The climb up the hill gives you some exercise if you want it and the view never gets old. Easy access to the beach and a short walk to grab a cab from the stand a few blocks away. Dulce did a grocery shop for us prior to arrival for a modest fee. Would not recommend this place for kids as the low railings and long drop made me a bit nervous, could also be a problem for people with a fear of heights. You will love this place!

Our Happy Place!!

This is our 2nd time at Barbara and Edā€™s home but our 3rd time in Zihua. We will only stay at Casa Que ve al Mar!! Having stayed at Barbara and Edā€™s first, you get spoiled with the unit and with the view. Itā€™s unparalleled! I said it before, but their pictures do not do it justice. You have to walk thru the door and see if for yourself. The unit is always clean. Veronica (house cleaner) does a wonderful job and is sweet as can be. She is also an amazing cook! I highly advise asking her to cook for you at least once. But donā€™t wait till the end of your trip as there are always left overs! The AC works great. We only turn it on at night or before we took a shower to keep cool. No need to worry about the water from the faucets as itā€™s all filtered and even my 7yr old drank it with no issues. 7min easy walk to the beach! If you donā€™t want to make the walk back up hill, the taxis are right at the beach to drive you back. I think the most we paid was 40 pesos or $2. There is a huge binder that they have filled with tons of helpful info and also a restaurant guide! I guess the best thing I can say is that we love it so much we are currently looking at buying in Casa Que ve al Mar and itā€™s proving difficult because of the beauty and comfort at Barbara and Edā€™s. Stop waiting and book already! You wonā€™t regret it!!

This place is amazing! The VIEW is stunning!

From the moment we arrived until the sad moment we left we loved the condo, the property, the staff, the beach and Zihua as a destination. When you first walk into the condo you have this AHHHA moment when you look out over the balcony to see the property, ocean and beach below. The unit is a first class property will all of the amenities of home, and an awesome guide to everything Zihua we called The Bible - written by the owners. This was our first visit and we definitely be coming back.

Heaven on Earth!

They say pictures are worth a 1000 words. Not in this case! Pictures do not do justice to the breathtaking views from this condo! Sheer beauty! The condo is AMAZING! The owners think of everything. Details from guidance thru the airport on your arrival to the "Guide to Everything Book" left in the condo. This book navigates you thru the condo, restaurants, and things to do in Zihua. Truly a wealth of information. We love to read all the restaurant recommendations that the owners leave. They are always spot on. Their home is beautiful, comfortable & well cared for. We were so happy to bring friends of ours who had never been to Zihua. One step thru the door & they fell in love just as we had! Zihua is a safe, relaxing & beautiful. There is so much to do! Snorkeling, fishing, shopping, eating, long days on the beach! Our first night, we love to go down to La Perla & get our toes in the sand and eat on the beach. One of our favorite days is to take a boat over to Las Gatas. Only reachable by boat, we love to spend the day sitting in beach chairs in the water, swimming & enjoying fresh fish and magaritas. After a long day on the beach, we head back to the condo for a happy hour in the private pool while watching the most INCREDIBLE sunsets! We have been blessed to spend 3 vacations in this condo & have already planned our next visit even though we just got back!

Beautiful condo and view of water

We loved this condo. It has its own pool on the deck and an amazing view of the Bsy. Very clean and well equipped. The complex is safe and beautiful and the staff is so helpful. We took taxis everywhere and could walk to the beach. Our favorite beach hangout was Pattyā€™s and the Loot Great food. The beach is beautiful. Loved this condo.

Amazing view!

We really enjoyed our stay at la Casa Que Ve Al Mar. The condo was wonderful, the pools, landscaping and location are all perfect. The condo is well furnished and the owners very accessible and helpful with all our questions. We found many good and affordable restaurants on Playa la Ropa and in town, we enjoyed the yoga classes at Paty's spa and loved strolling through the Mercado Municipal in Centro and the Mercado Artisanal on Avenida Cinco de Mayo. Most amazing was the view from the condo, not only at sunset but at anytime, day or night. Thank you Barbara and Ed for sharing this gem.

Amazing! Breath taking! Perfectly wonderful!

I cannot say enough about this place. It was heaven on earth. To start from the beginning, Barbara was very easy to work with and was a wealth of information, since we were first timers. We received a step-by-step packet with recommendations on where to eat and what to do. All the research I had done prior to seemed pointless because Barbara had everything we needed in our "Arrival" email! We arrived just before sunset and were blown away when we arrived. The view is stunning! We were greeting when we arrived and shown to the unit. The open air design of the unit is just wonderful! The kitchen was stocked with anything/everything we needed. We found an amazing coffee shop just a 5-7min walk from the condo. Loot- we highly suggest you try it out!(good coffee is very important being from Seattle) The walk to the beach (La Ropa Beach) is very easy, and as another reviewer stated, if the walk back is too much (which we thought of it as our "exercise") the taxis are right there to help! We also found a great bar towards the end of the beach that put the Seahawks on for us. (Double plus)The patio is nice and private. One evening we had the house cleaner cook dinner for us. It was by far the best meal we had while in Zihua! AND there was enough leftovers for lunch and then some the next day! We made some great new friends and plan to go back. Sounds hard to believe but the pictures DO NOT do this unit justice!! Thank you Barbara for sharing your home with us. We are already trying to plan our 2017 visit.

Outstanding View

This condo was very well stocked and clean. The property staff were all very friendly and helpful. The view of the bay was amazing and my morning coffee won't be the same without it. It's a great condo to rent and for those who can not do the walk back and forth to the beach the cabs are cheap and readily available.

Spent two months in this lovely condo. Amazing views overlooking Playa La Ropa. Very comfortable & convenient. Great staff--always ready & willing to help with anything. The owners are very accommodating & easy to deal with. Condo is very well stocked & very clean. Beautiful place to spend the winter.

A Perfect Vacation

We loved this condo, with its great Mexican decor, beautiful tile work, high quality furnishings, and its VIEW.....we thought we were in paradise! And we really were. The private pool made it even better (if that's possible) and we spent most of our time in it during the days and evenings. It was a perfect vacation! Our hosts were extremely responsive and accommodating to our needs and for that we are very appreciative. We hired the housekeeper, Veronica, to come cook us dinner one night. While we relaxed in the pool, Veronica cooked us an amazing Mexican feast! We had enough food left over to last us for several days and the cost was VERY affordable, less than a nice dinner out. We loved the location of the condo as well. This was our 2nd time in Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo. La Ropa beach, on the edges of Zihua, offers a quieter experience than that of either town. Zihua is close enough to walk to but using the bus to go back and forth was cheap and easy, and taxis are everywhere (and reasonable). We felt it was the best of everything, the shopping and dining in town as well as the peaceful jungles behind the condo and the incredible bay view in front of us that we soaked up every day. Again, it was paradise! We really liked Bandito's in town. We were able to watch the Seahawks win yet another game! And the food was better than what we could get on the beaches of La Ropa (although some of these allowed seating right in the sand and that made it fun!) Overall, this was one of the best vacations ever and we will most definitely stay in this condo for the next one in Mexico!

This condo is amazingly well stocked, and the condo and property were all very well maintained and clean. The photos don't really do it any justice, and can't describe how welcoming and peaceful the condo is. The owners and managers are very accommodating, and we will definitely check for availability next time we return to Zihuatanejo.

PARADISE!!!

Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. What an amazing place!! The views are spectacular, the private pool was amazing and so relaxing, the staff was wonderful, the condo had everything you could possibly need and it was truly a home away from home. The food was amazing everywhere we went and the people were super friendly and helpful. We cannot not wait to return to this amazing place. One week was not nearly enough time and we were so sad to have to return home, but we will definitely be back to experience more of Zihuatanjeo!

Our week in paradise!

We had never rented a condo before & I was a bit leary of the process. It all looked too good to be true....but we were pleasantly surprised to find that is EXCEEDED our expectations! The description was very accurate, the photos didn't do it justice, the owner, Barbara Tucker, was on top of all communication, money, etc. On premises, the concierge was always available & wonderful maid service. This condo offered everything...phone, TV's. wi-fi, full kitchen, towels...they did not miss a thing. I would MORE than recommend this to friends & we will probably be back. Be careful if you have any problem with walking up steep hills...or be sure to use taxis...as it is pretty steep & you have to go up & down to get to the beach or walk anywhere. LOVE the beach there ( Playa del Ropa) & they have FABULOUS restaurants.

Fantastic vacation

Apirl 2010 My family have just returned from a week long stay in this apartment and would rate it as the best VRBO accomodation we have ever stayed in. The photos cannot do either the apartment or the views justice - both are truly stunning. The apartment is equipped with everything you could possibly need during your stay and the staff are super nice and very helpful. Zihua is a great destination for those who like to get away from the big hotels and chain restaurants - it has the feel of a small fishing village and hasn't been spoilt by developers. The apartment is a 5 minute walk from the beach - the sea is warm with just enough surf to make it fun! We enjoyed eating at several different places on the beach and also on Las Gatas beach which we walked to. We particularly enjoyed returning to the apartment in the late afternoon for a dip in the plunge pool and a cocktail whilst watching the sunset. In summary - we can't recommend this rental higly enough.

This condo complex is easily my favorite spot in Zihua, quick walk to the beach (with a built in workout coming back up the hill) with awesome views of la Ropa bay. As an avid traveler I like to go new places every trip, but this spot is so amazing I've now spent my last 3 vacations in a row here (the most recent trip I brought 40 people along for my wedding)! Almost all of my guests stayed in Casa Que Ve Al Mar and it was so fun to get to see in everyone's different rooms-I didn't see a bad one in the whole place. Now, to speak to this unit specifically, we decided to splurge since it was our wedding (and shared it with 2 friends). It was worth every penny! The rooms are separate enough that you have plenty of privacy, the open air kitchen is stocked with all of the important details, and of course the private plunge pool is the perfect cap to the end of each day. Now that I've stayed in the sub-penthouse I don't know that I'll be able to stay anywhere else! The owner Barbara was very helpful and easy to book with as well. PS I wore the beach hat for the entire vacation and felt like a movie star incognito, I had to restrain the urge to take it with me when I left!

Vista Del Mar

We stayed at Vista del Mar for 2 weeks in December 2009. The place was absolutely gorgeous. Clean, spacious, well maintaned and had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Close to the beach - but situated on a hill overlooking Zihuatanejo Bay - so the view was spectacular. Excellent restaurants just a short walk away. 5 minutes and you're on Playa La Ropa - one of the most beautiful beaches in the area. We will be back.

We have been traveling to Zihuatanejo every year since 1991. We used to stay at Villa del Sol and Las Palmas.

From the moment we got off of the elevator and walked in the front door, we were in love. It got us at hello and it will do the same to you.

O que faz essa propriedade ser Ćŗnica?

Our terrace is only one of two in the entire complex with
a pool that is open to the sky. It is a great place to spend the day or a great place for a sunset cocktail. Our past guests have all said the hardest thing was leaving the terrace each night for dinner.
