It's high up on the 7th floor of the premier front building and at 1900 sq. ft, it is one of the very largest in the complex. We're located in the middle of Zihuatanejo's fabled Playa La Ropa, one of the most beautiful beaches on the planet, so we're only a short walk from the beach, numerous restaurants, bars, and other attractions. You can make your vacation as relaxing or as active as you like - the choices are yours!

If you can pull yourself out of your hammock, there are numerous activities within walking distance or a short bus or taxi ride away. This place is paradise on earth. The condo was spotless upon our arrival and well stocked with everything we needed. We bought groceries for breakfast but explored the abundant restaurants for suppers out. There is no shortage of wonderful places to eat. Coffee on the deck every morning, watching the Zihuatanejo bay come to life, was the best way to start each day. The deck is very large and has abundant furniture and plants. It is a great place to relax and daydream. The views are breathtaking and the grounds are meticulously maintained. We met wonderful people around the beautiful pools, which we used daily. The staff onsite are very friendly and will answer any questions you may have. Our host responded to any questions we had and was able to accommodate a late check out since our flight was in the early evening. This property is on a hill so it is steep getting to. We took taxis every time we returned so we didnā€™t have to walk up the hill, only because we were lazy after a long sun filled day and full from a wonderful supper. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone thinking of booking here. We LOVED it.

A beautiful, well appointed spacious property with a to die for view

The header pretty much sums it all up. If I had one commentary it would be about needing hooks for wet swimsuits and beach towels to dry after using the pool. Maybe in the showers since the balcony rails are off limits which I wholly understand not wanting all that out there ruining the look of the place. Dulce and the host hints publication was very helpful. Great stay. Thanks.

Magical Stay

My hubby and I got the chance to stay at this beautiful condo for a week! The view was perfection and we loved the decor of the condo-very unique! Everyone at the property was so friendly and helpful-we will definitely be back soon!

Extraordinary deck

We experienced some issues which Dulce the property manager tried desperately to rectify. The washer was broken for the whole 3 weeks which was a pain and I think there was 3 or 4 different repairman to look at it but what was needed was a brand new unit . We were able to send laundry out or have the use of another but very inconvenient. The living room a/c had no remote so we had to get an electrician in to set it so we could turn on manually and after a few days we had a new remote. Many of the glasses and dishes were cracked and we threw them out and Dulce got us some new ones. Our friends who stayed in the 2nd bedroom did not like the wooden structure over the bed with some hanging thing that clanged in the night- it was spooky. We lived on the patio which was enormous and ate all our meals out there, the views were stunning, the pools were great, we walked to the beach everyday but the hike back up was a bit tough. The floors in the complete condo were very cool with the intricate designs. With a little TLC this would be 5 star so really the onus is on the owner to spruce it up. Staff were great- Dulce, Basilia the cleaning lady was very sweet, Veronica our chef is excellent and Mario and the other guards are very attentive. A great 3 weeks with fantastic weather and with a few tweaks this would have been really great Steve & Janet , Larry & Melinda

Fantastic Condo

Casa d'Arte is a fantastic space. The 2 bedrooms are comfortable and the kitchen has enough equipment for breakfasts and simple dinners. But the star of the condo is the balcony. The 4 of us (2 couples) had plenty of space, and lived on the balcony when we weren't on the beach. As others note, the condo is on top of a steep (!) hill -- the stairs might be a better option than the driveway. But a dunk in 1 of the 2 pools made a great reward after climbing back up from a day at the beach. Harriet provided lots (!) of pre-arrival info, and the guards (gracias, Ruben) were very helpful for odds & ends (agua potable...). We love Zihua, and Casa d'Arte is definitely a great home base that we hope to return to.

Overall a great place to stay. Views of the bay are great. Unfortunately there was a red tide issue which made La Ropa a bit murky during our stay. We interacted most with the security guards, who were great, by stopping for a rest at the guard station, which was halfway up the hill. We ended up giving the night guard, Mario, our leftovers, which he said he enjoyed after his shift. My companion spoke Spanish to him. Best beaches for swimming and snorkeling by far are at Isle Ixtapa. Although everyone offered to call a taxi for us when we left the property, we either walked or waved down a minibus on the street. It is a great transportation system which costs 13 pesos (about 75 cents) for a ride into town center.

Stunning View Plus Beautiful Comfort

It's really a toss-up as to which we enjoyed more... the gorgeous view of Zihua Bay from the huge outdoor terrace, or just how comfortable it was inside Casa d'Arte. The dƩcor was so colorful and fun. The colorful flowers all around the grounds and balconies made the trip really special. It was so convenient to be able to walk to Playa de Ropa. Even the steep walk back was fine to work off a margarita or two. It was super convenient and fun (not to mention cheap!) to catch the little public transportation bus to go to el centro. Harriett provided such great and extensive information before the trip. Kudos! Overall, I highly recommend this place; we will be back again!

Five Star Fabulous!

This condo, location, area is incredible! Spectacular views, loads of room. Comfy bed, beautiful, traditional & quirky decor, which we loved! Bacilla, the housekeeper is precious & an amazing cook. Do ask her to come make a seafood dinner for you. We loved it & plan to go back! Miss those sunsets!

Heaven is Zihua

Allison and I thoroughly enjoyed your home. It had everything that was required to make our vacation very enjoyable. The view was spectacular and we loved our coffee and meals on the balcony with the sea breezes blowing through. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and great patio furniture. Excellent stay at Casa d'Arte

We had a fabulous 4 week stay at Casa dā€™Arte - in the beautiful Casa Que Ve Al Mar condo complex. CQVM has one of the best locations in Zihua - on the hillside above La Ropa beach, with amazing views of the whole bay. We had stayed before, and we love the location, the pools, and the views. The staff are amazing - Dulce, all the security staff and groundskeepers do a great job, and are all extremely friendly and helpful. Check in was easy. Unit manager Harriet provides a condo unit guide and a Zihuatanejo guide so everything is very clear - there is a lot of useful information in both guides. The unit itself is located in the front building (building A) and has one of the best views in the complex from its very large terrace/balcony with comfy furniture. One of our favourite things to do was to have morning coffee there while listening to the chachalaca birds. The condoā€™s decor is very artistic and whimsical. The unit was very well stocked - with tissue, toilet paper, laundry soap, dish soap, napkins, baggies and Mycrodyn for washing fruits and vegetables. There is a stove top and microwave, toaster and blender, but no oven or dishwasher - which didnā€™t bother us at all. The coffeemaker has a permanent filter; the washer and dryer worked well. There are lots of towels and we found the beds very comfortable. Bacilia came twice a week to clean and was a sweetheart. There are A/C units in each bedroom as well as one on the wall in the dining area (we mainly used the bedroom units at night - they worked great.) There are so many great and inexpensive restaurants in Zihua that we ate out every night. There was a small BBQ on the deck with a full propane tank but we never used it - too many delicious dinner options nearby! There are two pools and though not huge, neither were ever crowded. Most guests stay for a minimum of a week - sometimes 3 or 4 and some having been coming for years and stay for 6-8 weeks. Weā€™ve only been twice, but still saw some of our ā€œpool friendsā€ from previous visits! Checking out was easy and Dulce kept our luggage safe for us in the storage area until it was time to cab to the airport. Zihua is truly beautiful and Casa que ve is amazing - we highly recommend it!

Nice bright Very spacious condo, huge outdoor spaceā€”pretty property with great views and beautiful infinity pools. Property is hillside (workout) - easy walk downā€”and above the main connector road to town but the views are worth the effort and some road noise.

Excellent condo, but new pics needed

This was our 4th stay at La Casa Que Ve al Mar, but our first at Casa d'Arte. We had a wonderful stay! The condo is eclectic and artsy, but beautiful! The deck is huge and gets great afternoon sun (which we LOVE), with a table, plenty of patio chairs, 2 loungers, a great double hammock. We've never stayed at a more well-appointed condo, as far as it being stocked with EVERYTHING we could possibly need, and so much more! Plus access to nearly every cupboard, closet and storage! The washing machine was a nice plus for our extended stay! I really feel this listing could benefit greatly by updating the pictures. The listing pics really don't do it justice. Harriet was quick to respond with booking and check-in information. Bacilia (housekeeper) was excellent and thorough. And Dulce (concierge) is as sweet as she is helpful and accommodating. We didn't want or need for anything during our stay, and would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful View and Place to Relax!

The only reason we didn't give this place a 5 is the inclines and declines coming and going to the condo. We're not spring chickens so this was a little rough. Excellent restaurants near the condo and a $4 taxi to Centro. The 2 edge pools were a perfect temp and never crowded. The condo supplies a water jug so you don't have to drag bottled water from the stores. Wonderful people available 24 x 7 if you ever need any assistance. Bathrooms could use some updating, but for the price it's a great bargain! Compare it to the prices of the hotels on the beach.

Another month in Paradise

As always Dulce is here to meet all your needs, the cleaning ladies work so hard and are so sweet everything again this year was perfect . My granddaughter and I went fishing and she brought home a 91 in sail fish which she had mounted. Thank goodness just that one and not the other five she caught. This month was a very relaxing trip , the owners, renters and the towns people are fabulous. Merry Christmas to all

Blissful getaway!

This was our 4th time staying at this amazing complex and the 3rd in this particular unit. The view is breathtaking every single day. We loved enjoying or meals on the terrace as well as hours of reading in the hammock! The unit has everything you need! So many extra (high quality) towels and sheets! The kitchen was perfectly stocked for cooking as we ate in often. I have nothing bad to say about our stay. The staff at the complex is incredibly helpful and friendly. We spent most days between the pool and our terrace. The pool was never over-crowded and we always had chairs. We had great breakfasts at Loot (right down the hill) and wonderful dinners at both Sixtino's and El Manglar. We also enjoyed a delicious wood-fired pizza and cold crevasses at Jungle Pizza! We are already planning our return! Thank you Zihua:)

We loved it!

Sensational view! Condo is decorated in bright Mexican colors with a beautiful inlaid floor. Spacious and clean. Two pools at property and one is an infinity pool. Lovely. Very romantic place to stay with a very fun, artistic decor.

Paradise in heaven

Our stay was totally awesome, our condo fabulous, and as always Ellie is a delight, takes care of your every need. We hope to return next year same time. Our owner of condo there are no words to describe she made our trip ever so special. Food, weather, water sports,fishing and especially the people, you cannot find fought with Zihuatanejo

We spend most of our time on the terraza. Casa d'Arte has one of only 4 large covered terazzas in the complex -- that's one reason we bought it. We furnished it for elegant outdoor living complete with dining table and chairs, hammocks, lounge chairs, tropical plants, and an 'art station' desk. At almost 2000 square feet, Casa d'Arte is one of the most spacious condos in the Casa Que Ve Al Mar complex. We take full advantage of our glorious pools too -- I swim several times a week.

Because Casa'd'Arte was built as a personal residence, there are many exceptional touches. We have a beautiful indoor fountain out of river rocks in the dining room as well as two crocodiles in the hand laid pullido floors.

When we're not here, we enjoy sharing our home with others who will appreciate it as much as we do.

Casa d'Arte is totally unique because it was created out of love and designed to inspire. We understand that even the tiniest details are important to making our condo as beautiful as the natural magnificence viewed right from our terraza and almost every room.
