Just a few steps to the bay & Amazing Sunsets!

Make yourself at home and relax at this renovated Studio condo at the Grand Traverse Resort “The Shores”. This condo is facing West, with perfect sunset views over the water. Located on 600 sandy feet of East Grand Traverse Bay, this condo is a water and beach lover’s dream. Three world-class championship golf courses are less than ½ mile away at the Grand Traverse Resort. An additional beach area (Acme park) is right next to the condo complex and offers picnic areas, a playground and grills. This wonderful condo is close to everything that the Traverse City area has to offer: amazing beaches, professional golf courses, more than 3 dozen wineries, great restaurants and fantastic shopping.

This second floor, water-view condo features a deck with access from the living room / bedroom. This condo is best suited for 2 people. There is one 50 inch flat screen TV's and a full bath. The kitchenette offers a microwave, refrigerator, and a stove.

Please note that access to the Grand Traverse Resort amenities (such as tennis, gym,pools & beach chairs) are not included. The spa, golf courses, restaurants, and casino are open to the public and therefore are available for guests to use.

The place was just as advertised including the beautiful view. Communication with the host was excellent. The place was clean and quiet. We had plenty of supplies (dishes/glassware for breakfast for the weekend and bathroom towels). The bed was comfortable the we had plenty of room for the 2 of us for a weekend "up north."

Great stay in condo. Balcony overlooked the Bay directly - Nature Preserve next to the unit offered trails and additional water access. The unit is small but had everything we needed for our week’s stay. We were a little surprised by the amount of traffic in and around Traverse City and were aware of the traffic noise on occasion from the unit. But ….. a wonderful stay.

Prime location, close to everything. Recommended! Tip, if one takes a 4 min walk through the woods you'll get to a beautiful beach, barely any people there.

Up North Getaway

Condo was very cute. Had everything we needed. Great view and easy access to the water. Nice porch to sit outside and enjoy the sunsets. Good location with easy access to town and other areas. Host was helpful and quick to respond to questions. Would definitely stay again.

Studio with a beautiful view of the water

We had a wonderful time staying at this condo. It is only 15 minutes from Traverse City yet you are far enough away to relax. We enjoyed drinking coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening while relaxing on the balcony. The view was amazing. The bed is very comfortable and the place is very well-furnished. Thank you!

Perfect for a weekend getaway

My husband and I stayed for an extended weekend, and wanted a quiet location for the evening. This was perfect! Under an hour drive to the sleeping bear dunes park for a day trip and close to many wineries/Traverse City. Clean room and comfy bed, and clear/consistent communication from the host, would recommend to anyone looking for a simple room to relax in at night!

Great Vacation Spot

We loved our stay in Kati’s condo. The view is amazing! The bed was very comfortable and the condo was immaculately clean. We had everything we needed and Kati was available for any questions we had. We can’t wait to return!

Great place to relax for the 2 of us

The condo was exactly as advertised and very clean and well cared for. My wife and I stayed for 3 nights and it was very peaceful and relaxing. We were out everyday from nearly sunrise to after sunset, so we really didn't get a great opportunity to enjoy the beautiful view, but even at night it was quite pretty. Wish we could have been here in warmer weather so that we could have explored the outdoor areas of the property more. Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes are our favorite place in the state and this condo was a great place to base our long weekend. The owners checked in with us in an email during our stay and even left us a bottle of wine! We would definitely recommend this condo for a cozy and peaceful stay.

All the comfort you need!

This is a small studio that provides you with enough conveniences and comfort for a relaxing vacation. This was a lay back and relax 4 day journey for us with a little bit of rain so it was well worth the price to have the water view. While you won't be cooking major meals here, the host has provided enough dishes, utensils, cups and glasses to cook or heat up some simple breakfasts and/or dinners. The host was immediatel. y responsive to the few questions we had. Unit was very clean. Adequate towel supply, paper and cleaning products, salt, pepper, oil, health and beauty products were appreciated. We lacked for nothing. While you do not have access to the pool, we discovered that there is a little community park right next to the driveway into the property and within walking distance that provides additional options for short walks, alternate beach options, picnic tables, and grills. (bring mosquitto spray!) Just one suggestion to the host - would be very helpful to have something larger than a 7-inch frying pan. The other pan options were adequate! Great location just outside the busiest part of Traverse City. So much to do in the area. We chose concert at Interlochen, golf at Elk Rapids Country Club, Dinner at McGees (super!), and the casino! Relaxing Getaway

We wanted to visit the Traverse City area (as we had never been to that part of Michigan before). This condo was a great location for us. We found it to be relaxing and quiet. The view was nice and we enjoyed walking the nearby beach and wooded area. Everything we needed for 4-1/2 days was available. The condo was clean with everything we needed and Kati is a great host!

Traverse City Stay

I highly recommend this stay. The view is beautiful! My husband and I really enjoyed sitting on the porch. Lots of wildlife is attracted to this little area. We saw ducks, swans, and even deer! The condo is beautiful and super clean! The location was great. We really enjoyed our stay here and would stay again.

My husband and I moved to the Traverse City area about 10 years ago and fell in love with it immediately. I'm a native of Germany and my husband is from the Western end of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. We decided to purchase this condo because of it's perfect location on East Bay. What a perfect place to enjoy everything that Traverse City and the surrounding area has to offer!
