Perfect for a family vacation with our dogs! Thoughtful amenities, every fun thing you could possibly think of for every generation and for all kinds of weather. The host, Dawn, was amazing and is super responsive. There wasn’t anything that we could have possibly needed!

Our stay at Paws and Reflect was wonderful. We and our friends enjoyed the location and the activities very much.The kitchen was very well stocked and the game room with music delightful. Your directions and information to kayak to the river were spot on.

two adults, one disabled, and one old dog - we loved staying here. Pawsandreflect is modernly designed house that feels very elegant. The owners really provided places for dogs to sleep and the enclosed backyard, since we only travel with our eleven year old staffy. Texting with the owner, dawn, was very pleasant. we helped bring in an amazon order for her, a delivered replacement oar. if it were warmer, we would have been outside more to enjoy the fire pit and kayak. we did grill one meal and my husband scrubbed one of the grills and made excellent chicken. the ramp at the front of the house really helps people who have a hard time with stairs. Lots of spaces even more than the 4 bedrooms that made the place feel even bigger that it is. very nice place. we plan on returning since we have some relatives near by. Very very nice!

A fabulous vacation house on Chesapeake Bay

We have spent summers around the Chesapeake Bay for the last 20 years. By far, this property is the best. The house provides ample space for a group of eight adults, including kitchen, dining, and recreation areas. The utilities and furniture are all top quality. We really enjoyed our week-long stay and look forward to coming back again.

One of the best! If you want to relax with your family and pups, this is the place. If you forgot something, they have it. Very well appointed kitchen with anything you would need. There's even hair dryers in the bathrooms. So much space and is even better than the pictures. The game room is amazing, there's something for everyone. Would 100% recommend. We will definitely be coming back!

A family of 4 adults and 2 dogs stayed here for a week and we were thrilled with the house. The house was very clean when we arrived. The owners thought of everything a person might need or want! The WiFi was perfect, the kitchen is very well stocked, sheets/towels soft and comfy, and the beds were VERY comfortable. The layout of the house also suited our group well. There are several sitting areas for reading/relaxing while taking in the beautiful views. The patio area is large and there was plenty of grass for the dogs. The gameroom is over the top and a must see! The home is so spacious you never felt crowded. The owners were very communicative and answered questions quickly. We would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved the house! It has a wonderful view of the pond and river, the kitchen and set up outdoors are both well equipped and had everything you need for staying in and cooking. It is nicely decorated including the comfortable outdoor area. We went kayaking on the pond, played pool in the game room, rode bikes, read a lot, played games and explored the area. Time flew by and overall we had a very relaxing time. Very private area yet still very accessible to Reedville and the surrounding areas. The hosts have thought of everything that you could possibly need. We would definitely love to stay here again!!

Absolutely phenomenal time at this rental. It is SO difficult to find a good place that doesn't just allow dogs but is actively dog-friendly. We have two 45lb pups, one of whom is reactive so we need a fully fenced area for them to run around in. One of them also loves the water, so this is exactly what we were looking for. It was just the two of us and our dogs, so we felt a silly getting this big house with a separate rec area, but we are so glad we did. The house is beautiful and has obviously had a lot of care put into it. The location is stunning. It's so peaceful and quiet. The "pond" as they call it, essentially feels like you have your own private lake that connects to the river and then the Bay if you want. The little shore was a perfect little soft sandy stretch to easily get the watercraft in and out. We saw blue crab, lots of tiny fish, a heron across the way, and a pair of bald eagles while we were there. The bed was so comfy and I slept like a log since it was so quiet (normally I wear earplugs). The house is very well appointed with pantry stuffs - coffee, condiments, spices, lots of dishes and cookware. They left a goodie bag for us to make s'mores, which we took full advantage of. We had a bunch of old school video game tournaments and I got roundly beaten at pool several times. I legit have no complaints. I would buy this house in a heartbeat - and asked even though I *knew* there would be no way anyone would give up that property. Will return for sure.

Dawn and Jay were quick to respond to all of our questions leading up to our vacation and offered useful insights for the area. The home is much larger than the photos present. The beds were all very comfortable (per the group). The kitchen and bathrooms were all well appointed. The game room was a huge hit with our ground (6 of which were in their 20s). The memory tree and craft area to create a special tribute token was very timely for us.Overall a wonderful week and I will recommend to others

Family get-together from SC and NJ. This was an outstanding spot for us to gather and spend time together! Plenty of space and gathering spots. From kayaking and crabbing to gaming and just sitting and talking (inside or outside), we had a great vacation and plan to return in the future. The property is excellent, and the communication with the helpful hosts was easy and helpful. We can't recommend this spot enough! Thanks Dawn and Jay for a memorable week!
