The big draw to this property is how overly pet friendly it is! Some say it even caters more to dogs than to people. Onsite services include FURology Paw Spa & Retreat offering dog-sitting and grooming services. We also have a great pool area and sundeck for guests to enjoy.

THINGS TO KNOW
All Oceana Resort properties are equipped with one or more rental boxes. Our guests enjoy free blockbuster rentals during their stay.Free Attraction Ticket Program - All Oceana Resorts guests are provided with a package of tickets from local partners. The program offers one free ticket from up to three partners per reservation, and additional tickets are available to purchase when the free tickets are redeemed. Details are updated seasonally on our property-specific websites.This property is managed by Vacasa South Carolina LLC.

THINGS TO KNOW
There is a 40 lb weight limit for dogs. Restricted breeds include Pit Bulls, Staffordshire Terriers, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Presa Canarios, Chow, Mastiffs, Doberman Pinschers, Akita, Wolf hybrids, Cane Corso, Great Danes, Alaskan Malamutes, Boxers, Huskies, American Bulldogs, Mini Bullies, and Belgian Malinois. This includes mixes of these breeds as well.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Weekend getaway in Dec

We stayed 4 days and had a great time! Loved the balcony, well stocked kitchen, clean and well supplied bathroom, heat worked great, spacious room, tv/cable worked perfectly!

Comfortable and exactly as pictured.

The room is exactly as shown in the listing and very comfortable. The facility was clean, and the outdoor amenities were great! We enjoyed the hot tub and being able to walk to Walmart and restaurants was a plus. I would come again.

Get-away with puppy

Hotel stay was good for the money; great view and right on beach. Fees were more than nightly rate. Great pet policy.

Fairly clean but had great ocean views.

The ocean views were great! The room was pretty worn by previous guests. The room cleanliness was fair. There was a water leak from the bathroom to the hallway. The 10 digit button key entry was frustrating. It took 45 minutes to get in the room upon arrival. Maintenance was called but never showed up. We had difficulty opening the door during our stay so many times. We are older and trying to find a cart to get our luggage and vacation items to our room was impossible. The parking area was easy to use. It wasn’t so crowded. This hotel is pet friendly. I would probably not book this room again.

Great stay!

Very convenient to get to, nice covered parking, employees are beyond helpful, kind and knowledgeable. The room was great, ocean views on the 10th floor are about as perfect as you can get! Also dog friendly so we could bring my old Yorkie with us. Elevators work great. Daughter and grandson used the pool a few times since it was Feb and the ocean slightly chilly (although GS did go in a bit). We looked for a stay with a kitchen so cook some meals so we didn't have to eat out every meal. That was great to have. The deck was really great to sit on and have coffee while watching the waves and birds. Would recommend!!

Not clean

It was not clean. The bathroom was gross and the kitchen area as well. There was sand all over the floor. I would not go back

Disappointing

When we arrived to our unit the door was ajar and we found painters tape on all the windows, painter rags on the balcony, and the smell of oil paint was very strong. When the air conditioner went on it sucked in the oil fumes from around the painted windows and filled the entire room giving us a headache. We also had our dog in the room with us. The following day we left the door ajar to give us some ventilation when we are in the room … that is when two people barged into the room with paint brushes and paint cans in their hands to finish the job they must have left on the previous day. I asked them not to paint due to the fumes left by oil paint and that we were in the room. It doesn’t appear that they were expecting us at all in this unit. Obviously there was a big miscommunication between reservations and maintenance. It completely ruined my stay there having a headache for the duration.

Perfect View

This was the first trip to take with just me and my son. I was apprehensive at first but once we arrived and got to our room, I was thrilled. Room was clean, the view was lovely and it was a quick 5-10 minute drive to all the touristy spots.

Safe Harbor during Hurricane

The property was a bit older, but the construction was solid. We had no worries parking there and staying there through Hurricane weather. It would have been nice if the vending machines or other food options were possible because local establishments were closed for bad weather, but the pools and beach access made up for it. The management is really nice and checked on us right before the electricity went out in the area.

Excellent stay

Wonderful room. Clean and great view of the ocean! Close to broadway at the beach and countless amenities. Only complaint is the shower pressure was a little rough feeling more like a pressure washer than a shower. Otherwise 5 stars!!!!

My mini vacation

I was very pleased from the time I arrived . The staff was very welcoming. And the property inside and was very clean. I was on 10th floor and my room was very clean. I was very pleased with everything. The pool areas were very nice too and had plenty of lounge chairs. Oh and the doggie spa, although we didn’t get to use the service( it was closing time for them) for our fur baby we did go check it out. They were very nice, we bought our fur baby a toy n collar which is locally made. I can’t wait to go back!
