The pool was filthy & didn’t get cleaned until the day before we left. Beach access was closed. We were not told it would be closed until after we arrived and I asked about it. Kitchen ice maker was broken. In the future, we will not stay at any house rented by 30A Luxury Vacations.

We sincerely appreciate your feedback and are sorry your stay at Clare’s Cottage wasn’t the relaxing escape you were hoping for. As you booked your stay just 2 days after a Category 2 hurricane and arrived less than a week after landfall, some disruptions were unfortunately unavoidable, and our local vendors, HOAs, and neighbors were all working around the clock to recover. The beach access closure came from the HOA and local authorities due to storm damage, and we’re sorry we weren’t able to share that sooner given the volume of updates coming in. Our team responded quickly with an alternate beach access option and an offer to clean up the outdoor area while pool vendors worked through storm delays. We hope you understand that our team worked diligently to accommodate all guests' needs during these challenging circumstances, and we regret that your experience didn’t reflect those efforts.

Would stay here again

Had an amazing stay at Clare’s cottage. The house was even better in person. Great pool area and incredibly convenient access to the beach. Would 100% stay here again.

Girls trip

Clare’s cottage is in the perfect location! We walked into town often, over to Inlet beach, and really enjoyed the private beach access and pool as well. Check in and out was smooth. The cottage was very spacious!

Magnificent week on Longue Vue

We loved the house and location! Walking/biking Distance to seacrest, Rosemary, and alys beach….beautiful, comfortable home with delightful pool…beach access and proximity were worth every penny and made for a relaxing family week!

Beautiful house. Perfect place to stay in Rosemary Beach

We had a group of 8 women staying there to celebrate a 50th birthday. The location was great - easy to walk to restaurants and shops and an even shorter walk to the beach. The house is stunning! Clearly no expense was spared in the building or designing of the place. The set up is great with large common rooms and kitchen but we all had privacy as well. Perfect little pool with enough room for a big group to gather around. Planning to go back!

Amazing Home!

The kitchen was perfect for making meals etc. the pans were actually "good pans" meaning non-stick. Normally when you go on vacation the pans are horrible! Our family had the best time!! Super clean, accommodating, house came with bikes, which we all enjoyed.

Perfect home for our family birthday celebration

Reviewer Comments: When you get your kids and grandkids together for a trip t there are lots of needs with babies and sleeping and eating -This was the best location to get to the beach easily and run back to put little ones down for a nap The kitchen was huge We ate most meals in and getting to Publix for groceries was a quick drive-Many reasons to love this property-There was very annoying construction behind us some days until after 5 -I called the manager and I know they did what they could -Loved having bikes too

A wonderful vacation home to bring your family

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Home has a large and very well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed breakfast and the kids then loved jumping into the pool which is right outside the kitchen. The adults could then enjoy their coffee at the table along side the pool. Bedrooms are spacious with lovely bathrooms and beds are very comfortable. In the afternoon it is a two minute walk to the private beach which was fantastic for all families that had younger children. In the evenings you can cook on the grill but we enjoyed the short walk to the restaurants close by. Staff checked in daily to ensure all our needs were met. It is beautiful home and perfect location to beach for families.

Beach Chair Rental Requirement Not Good

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Clare’s Cottage was a perfect place for our family vacation in September. Everything was top notch. Our only complaint is the beach chair situation. After spending over $10,000 to rent the home, we had to spend over $400 to rent their beach chairs. You are not allowed to bring your own, or to rent them on an hourly basis. Also, we were told if you were on the beach, you needed a chair, you couldn’t just lay or sit on your towel. With several people in our group coming and going and a lot of little kids, I felt like $400 was a lot to use the beach. We could have bought several brand new chairs for that price.

Perfect vacation home!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Some say where you stay doesn’t matter in a vacation; it’s just a place to sleep. But where you stay sets the tone for the whole getaway and Clare’s Cottage made our vacation. It’s not only beautiful and comfortable, but is perfectly located. It’s a gated community where you are just steps away from a private beach. Plus you are so close to shops and restaurants, you could walk anywhere. Or, with bikes included with the property, you can cruise and enjoy the sites. Having a private pool was wonderful and it was the perfect size for our family. Our favorite spot was the enclosed patio with part of it covered to still enjoy outside if it was raining or too hot. The only things we noticed that needed maintenance were the large slider in the kitchen that wouldn’t open, a broken lounge chair and some of the string lights in the patio were out and needed to be replaced. We were notified at check in about a cable box issue that the property company had fixed within hours. The property company was fabulous and communicated with us everyday. We would recommend this property highly and hope to stay in it again someday.

The house was very beautiful and well furnished and the living room was very comfortable. It was a quick walk to the beach and the pool and the restaurants and shops in Rosemary beach. Very clean. Our only major complaint was the pool alarm, which is something the state of Florida apparently demands. You can’t open any door to the outside on the ground level without it sounding, unless you remember to hit the button first. Then it starts sounding after ten seconds even if you hit the button first. So I found the property photos with the sliding doors between the kitchen and pool to be deceptive. Because that is not happening without a very loud alarm going off. All three doors to this property exit to the pool deck so it’s also annoying to bring in luggage or groceries bc you can’t prop the door. I get the property managers can’t control that bc it’s the law, but I wouldn’t have rented this property had I known. I didn’t see it mentioned in other reviews but I think it’s worth noting going in. It’s a great place in a great location so a lot of people probably won’t care, but some might.

I am so happy I rented this house! We had a bachelorette here, and it fit everybody comfortably. The pool was great and refreshing, and the kitchen/fridge were huge. We were blown away by the accommodations, and the communication with the landlords was very responsive.

Your perfect beach trip starts here!

This home is stunning! The home was very clean. There wasn’t one part in the house that felt dirty (I’m extremely picky when it comes to cleanliness). The beds were very comfortable. My Mom, who has a bad back, was able to fall asleep quickly. The home is beautifully furnished. There’s plenty of necessities in the kitchen and an abundance of toiletries that lasted our big group the whole weekend. We opted to have the pool heated. The temperature was perfect, and you can’t beat a $25 per day charge (most rentals charge $50+!). The beach is so close! It’s literally two houses away from the beginning of the boardwalk. The beach is private to Lounge Vue residents and guests so it’s never busy. The bikes were a nice touch! Our four teens enjoyed them very much and used them all weekend (riding down to Starbucks every morning was thier favorite). We all walked down to Rosemary Beach for some shopping and food. It was a short and pleasant walk. We had a wonderful weekend and will definitely be coming back to Clare’s Cottage!!

Spring Break Perfection

My family rented this property for a week-long spring break getaway. The property is as advertised, with plenty of space for all and several family members were able to work remotely for a few days (no Wi-Fi issues). The location is super, the beach steps away and the kitchen stocked well enough with utensils, small appliances, cook and bakeware to cook for an army! The managing company, 30A Luxury Rentals, were excellent and responded promptly when we had been given the wrong gate code to access the property on Sunday evening. I would absolutely stay here again!
