Welcome to The Sandpiper House, our beautiful home by the sea!

Exclusive beach community on a barrier island, rated as one of the top five Best beaches in the USA by National Geographic Traveler. Loveladies is one of the finest beaches on Long Beach Island. Our four bedroom, three and half bath house is ideally located bayside on a Private Lane with easy Ocean Access a few houses down, only steps to the beach. You can relax and enjoy the low populated beach which has life guards (in summer) at this access. There is also Bay Access on the lane with a dock for crabbing, kayaking and swimming.

The fenced in, gated property boasts a state of the art heated swimming pool with spa, beautiful paver stone pool area with patio furniture, including dinning tables, umbrella, chairs, loungers, outdoor ping pong table and gas BBQ grill. Accessible from the pool and beach are two outdoor showers with changing areas.

Multiple decks at every level. Rooftop decks provide gorgeous views of the sunrise over the ocean and sunset over the bay. This reverse living home has a magnificent gourmet kitchen with granite tops. The large deck off of the kitchen is great for dining, and enjoying the breezes of the shore.

The upstairs living area has built in bar with wine refrigerator, 60" 4K flat screen TV, cozy chair, and sofas. The upper level also includes the Primary Suite with king size bed, flat screen TV, private bathroom with double pedestal sinks and a large shower. There is also a powder room with pedestal sink in the hallway off of the upper living room.

The lower level includes a large living room with 50" 4K flat screen TV and adjacent deck for outdoor relaxing. There is a 2nd Suite with a queen size bed, TV, ensuite bath with shower, a third bedroom with a queen bed, and a fourth bedroom with two twin beds (easily pushed together to make a king). The lower level has a laundry room in addition to a full bathroom with a bathtub.

Enjoy high speed wireless internet and cable TV. There is no smoking anywhere on the property, and no pets permitted. All bedrooms and both living rooms have ceiling fans to add to the wonderful ocean breezes. During the summer season (June to mid September we only accept 7 night requests beginning and ending on Friday. No Saturday start/end dates.

Beautiful home

Lots of space for our group of 8. Resort style pool was wonderful. Quick walk to beach. Lots of extras in the house. Owners are very responsive and helpful.

Loveladies Stay

The house and the hosts were fantastic. The pool was the highlight and outside landscaping provided an excellent oasis. We'd definitely stay there again.

We had the best time, even though it rained all week. Julie & Chip are phenomenal hosts & made sure we had everything we needed. The house is not only beautiful, but soooo very clean as well! If we had any questions, Julie & Chip were on it promptly. I cannot say enough about this property & are planning on staying next year. This was our 3rd annual family vacation, and by far, the very best!!!!

Our family vacation at Sandpiper Lane could not have been better!! Chip and Julie are the perfect host/hostess; they truly made renting the house easy from beginning to end! Fantastic Experience at 291A Sandpiper

We had an absolute blast on our vacation. Julie and Chip are excellent hosts with fantastic communication. The house itself is situated perfectly between the bay and the ocean and is plenty spacious. The backyard with the heated pool and spa is amazing for any time of the spring/summer seasons. My 3 year old even started swimming on her own for the first time in the pool! If you are thinking about booking at 291A Sandpiper, I'd say definitely do it!

Family vacation

The property is beautiful and has everything needed to make a family vacation perfect. Plenty of space both indoors and out, close to the ocean and a beautiful outdoor space complete with pool, tons of seating, umbrellas etc. The host was great to work with and extremely responsive and prompt. There wasn't one thing that this property lacked. Would definitely return.

This is the PERFECT vacation home! We loved our stay at Sandpiper so much we had to come back again this year. The home has a FANTASTIC layout and easily accommodated our larger group. It has it all! From walking to the beach, watching the sunset from the roof top, dining on the porch, swimming for hours, ping pong, the hot tub and the big family room, it has become a home away from home for us. We made every meal during our vacation at the house and Julie and Chip have truly thought of everything! If you are looking for the perfect family vacation home, this house is it!! Wonderful family stay

Our stay at this beautiful home was absolutely perfect for our family! The house was impeccably organized, spotlessly clean, and beautifully maintained. We especially loved the spacious living areas where we could all gather, and the modern kitchen that was a joy to cook in for the whole family. The outdoor space was a true highlight with its lovely landscaping, wonderful pool, and cozy seating areas—perfect for relaxing and watching the children swim. The host and hostess were incredibly gracious and generous, always available to assist us with anything we needed. We simply cannot say enough good things about this property. We will definitely be renting from them again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic getaway at LBI.

Another Amazing Stay at the Sandpiper Home

My family and I had the privilege of staying at this wonderful home again this year. The owners, Julie and Chip, really care for this home which makes staying there a very relaxing experience, as they have every amenity covered. There’s nothing like waking up to the sunset with a cup of coffee on the upper deck, looking out at the ocean. Then again, there’s nothing like unwinding on the upper deck marveling at the sunset at the end of a full day of swimming in the pool. This home has become very special to our family and we owe the owners a debt of gratitude for allowing us to make lifelong memories there.

Pristine Home

My family and I just got back from a week’s stay at this lovely home. We loved every minute of it! The owners have really thought of every detail to make staying there totally relaxing. They had just the right amount of communication to provide all necessary details and were always promptly responsive to any questions we had. I’ve never stayed on the north end of the island, but staying here makes me want to do it all over again. Spacious interior, nicely decorated, great pool on a quiet street with access to the bay and short walk to the beach…can’t beat that. We’ve stayed in many beautiful rental homes over the last 40+ years, but this was the cleanest and most well-maintained home we’ve been in. It was perfect for our family … we miss it already!!

10/10! Spectacular Property & Exceptional Hosts!!!

My family just finished our first-ever stay at this fabulous property. We had 4 adults and 1 teen and could not have loved our experience more! The home is in an incredible location and is immaculately maintained. It was so clean and is the best appointed rental any of us have ever stayed at. We were absolutely blown away by the way the beauty and space of the home as well as the many amenities. The hosts Julie and Chip were EXCEPTIONAL!!!! So much so that we are coming back next year. THANK YOU Julie and Chip for creating the perfect environment to enjoy a fun-filled, luxurious getaway for our family. We are SO grateful and can't wait to come back next year! Wedding Weekend!

Julie & Warren were excellent hosts. There home was everything and more as described In VRBO. Every step of the VRBO process was handled professionally and smooth. Warren & Julie’s home was absolutely beautiful!! The lay out provided for movement throughout their home from bedroom, decks, kitchen, great room and magnificent pool. We never made it to the beach but will plan on making that a priority on our next visit. The heated pool, open surroundings space was spectacular. It was a definite hangout area for our family awaiting for the Wedding Day. I cannot say enough about this comfortable home. Thank you Julie & Warren for your warm, caring hospitality. A beautiful home that will be a favorite for all those fortunate enough to enjoy.

Wonderful experience all around!!!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at 291A Sandpiper. The owners, Julie and Chip, have truly thought of everything to make your stay comfortable, enjoyable, and seamless. The house itself is huge and very well-maintained with a completely updated kitchen, modern decor, and various balconies including a rooftop deck. My kids thoroughly enjoyed the additional sweet and homey touches, like a variety of jigsaw puzzles to choose from, children’s books in the bookcase, and plenty of pool noodles. The outdoor area is above and beyond, with a gorgeous pool, spa, hammock, ping pong table, and 3 umbrellas including a gigantic one that my entire family of 8 could fit underneath while lounging on the outdoor couch. Even the landscaping was beautiful and very well-maintained. The communication with Julie and Chip was top notch, as they promptly answered all questions. They even went above and beyond to assemble a crib and place it in a room of my choosing for my 2 year old daughter to sleep in during our stay. They are lovely, friendly, incredibly hospitable people. Julie is a true gem of a person! - hard to find nowadays. We couldn’t have had a better stay!!!

Excellent house and a great stay!

The house is fantastic, bigger in person than it looks in pictures. Great amenities (especially the pool area!) and well stocked with everything needed for a great stay. Julie and Chip were great to interact with and made sure our stay was as comfortable as it could be. Will hopefully be returning next summer!

Wonderful Vacation

We absolutely loved our time at this property in LBI. The house is quite comfortable and was conducive to a family of five with three young kids (5, 3, and 9 months). The interior of the home is nicely laid out and the pool area is spectacular. There’s a sense of privacy and tranquility since the property is at the end of a cul de sac with a tennis club next door. The beach is a short walk away, completely manageable with young kids. The owners, Chip and Julie, were wonderful to work with. They were extremely responsive from the time we initiated our first inquiry to the time we checked out. For a period, our family was concerned about the impact of COVID 19 on our vacation and the safety of things, and Chip and Julie were very helpful and understanding. They left hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes in the house, which was a nice touch and much appreciated. We’re so happy we were able to stay at this fantastic home and make such great memories!

Wonderful oasis

This property was wonderful for a much needed vacation with my family. Kids loved the pool and all the pool and beach toys that were at the house. Julie and chip thought of everything for our stay. House is very well stocked and super clean ! Great location, quiet with beautiful sunsets and so close to the beach.
