Welcome to our new home away from home. We hope you'll enjoy the airy feel and warm atmosphere.

Our place is located conveniently in Boulder Bay between the two ski resorts in Big Bear. Those who love to ski can find easy access to the lifts, and those who prefer to enjoy the lake can walk 5 minutes to the water.

The house has large windows for those who love to feel they are sleeping in nature and under the stars, 2 decks, 2 fireplaces and a barbeque for you to enjoy.

The home was much larger than we anticipated. Bright airy rooms, and well equipped kitchen. Perfect for our large family post Christmas reunion.

Great stay in Big Bear!

We had a lovely time at this home. The host, Hilda, was super communicative and the place was very clean upon our arrival. Really comfortable stay and a great location.

The home was beautiful, and the overall view and location were great. There were a few minor issues, though the owner responded promptly and efficiently. The bottom floor experienced some flooding due to the rain. The towels did not smell freshly washed, and there were no toiletries provided there was no soap or shampoo available in the upstairs showers, even for emergencies. Overall, it was a nice stay, but addressing these items would greatly improve the experience.

Swiss chalet in Bolder Bay

Our families came to spend Christmas together. We enjoyed our stay. There were a few “hiccups” but nothing to dampen our stay. Would book again.

Coziest Winter Stay

Thank you so much Hilda. My friends and I had an amazing time hitting the slopes and later coming home to a warm fireplace. The cabin is beautiful.

Ski Chalet in Big Bear

The house was very clean and comfortable for our group. We had a wonderful time. The location was ideal for our family because of the quiet neighborhood but close enough to the shops. It also can comfortably accommodate 10 people.

What a lovely, bright, comfy home. My family and I had a beautiful stay. The owner is a lovely person that can easily be reached. The home has anything you might've forgotten. Thank you Hilda and Michelle!

Awesome Trip

We had a great time at Michelle's house. The place was clean and a lot of the amenities were brand new thanks to a recent renovation. I think we were one of the first families to stay there, so there were a few logistical kinks to be worked out. But nothing worth complaining about. This house provided all the stuff that matters to a relaxing, comfortable vacation with the family. We'd definitely go back!

Great Xmas Getaway

Recommend this property! Communication with Hilda was excellent, fast responses and very accommodating. House was as described and even bigger and cozier than the pictures show. We were greeted with a Christmas even snow storm and Christy, the property manager allowed us to come in early, which compromised some on the cleanliness in some of the rooms, but it was minor: hair strands left and sweeping needed. Location was perfect, close to the ski resorts and toen but still tucked away so we could get a little privacy from the tourists. Beds and amenities were comfy and allowed us to feel at home. She even had a makeshift tree to put our presents under for the holidays! What a wonderful find! Thanks Hilda!

House was not at all as described

Very cluttered. No closet rods. Living area on second and third floors. No towel racks. All available drawers filled with stuff. Kitchen cabinets filled with equipment in piles. Third floor bedrooms nice but two queen beds were in one room? Second floor bedrooms tiny with beds on the floor

Would not recommend

This property location is good and the check in process was very easy but we did not enjoy our stay. The house was not ready when we arrived and the manager/cleaning person must have felt rushed to finish because dog hair was left on all the furniture. She let us know it the driveway and walkway to the entrance was very icy so she left some table salt in the front. The table salt did not help melt the ice and several members of our family slipped and injured themselves. I would not recommend staying at this house during the winter or if you‘re looking for a nice place. The hosts may alai want to invest in more comfortable beds were and a more detail oriented manager/cleaning person.

Fun time

This location is good. The house inside was so nice and clean. They had everything that they afford. This house is perfect if you take your family. The only thing that they need to install is a curtain in the 2nd master bedroom. Big window that faces the street and there is no curtain. Anyone walking by can see you. But besides that everything else is great. I will use this location again

Hi victor, Thank you for your review and your comment about the curtains in the third bedroom faacing the street. We are taking that into consideration and will be adding curtains if that is what our guest would like to see. We were thinking it was a nice view but I guess you can always open the curtains.

Michelle’s place in Beautiful Boulder Bay

We all really enjoyed our stay at Michelle’s place. 10 of us had plenty of room to spread out and not be in each other’s way. Walking distance to the lake and liquor store was very convenient. We brought the dogs and there was plenty of room for a large crate in the living room when we did have to leave for a little while. We BBQ’d on the deck and played corn hole. The only thing I would suggest is putting up some curtains in the upstairs bedroom so people have the option for privacy. It was beautiful looking out to all the trees but at night the moon was so bright it felt like day time and was hard to go to sleep. Other than that, we had a blast and would definitely stay again.
