Absolutely beautiful view, nice fully stocked, large condo and a very secure area for sure! Good communication from the office. We would stay here again and hope next time we can use the middle bedroom TV to watch something more than Netflix and to be able to have the ironing board in one piece for proper use. A suggestion I would like to make is changing the rentals, pool and beach gates to door locks with codes for entry instead of keys.

Sub-par property. The closets, kitchen cabinets were all filled with varies items so no room for our clothes or groceries. Kitchen items were dirty however the towels and linens were clean and fresh.

Great views and a nice condo, close to some good restaurants. We enjoyed being close both to the beach and pools/hot tubs. The rental was clean and well stocked. Overall, good.

Perfect place to stay in Solana Beach

Beautiful views of the ocean and the perfect place to watch the sunset. The beach below has a great walking beach. Our stay was wonderful and we will be back!

It is a wonderful rental, spacious, comfortable, and that top floor view is outstanding! The kitchen is well-equipped, and we cooked a couple of gourmet meals here with everything we needed! Both beds are very comfortable. The Solana Beach area has everything: great food options, a nice shopping district, easy access to all of San Diego County, with a quiet atmosphere without the traffic, hustle and bustle of other nearby communities. Pool and hot tub are immaculate, Stubbs is fantastic to work with, and we recommend both this unit and Stubbs!

Great place!

Amazing views and close to restaurants and grocery stores. Beaches are great, but a long staircase to walk down to the beach. Unit had everything you needed for your stay. The only thing I wish it had was a grill. Overall, great place!

Like living on the beach!

Incredible views from the deck and even from inside the condo due to the long stretch of floor to ceiling windows and glass doors. The second level elevation was perfect - no one walking in front of us and close to the ocean. Great privacy - close to beach steps - beautifully landscaped - very quiet. We’re coming back for more.

This place is great. I’d consider it a “find”. We hope to return. Perfect location. Good beach access using the adjacent public access. Beautiful views. Nice furnishings and appliances. Good Wi-Fi. Good cable TV. excellent blue tooth speakers for your iPhone. Absolutely immaculate upon our arrival. Here’s a little information to help future guests: The parking is good-2 underground spaces. But it’s a long walk to the unit with many steep stairs. So try not to overpack. There are 2 ways to get to the unit from your car: 1) The long way. Bring your clicker and enter and exit, on foot, through the vehicle gate. 2) The short cut. Enter and exit using the pedestrian gate. #2 is shorter than #1 but with #2 there are narrow steep steps. If you’re wheeling your stuff this way does not work. The unit comes with a good basket with wheels. I recommend using it. But park the wheeled basket by the creek. Don’t try to wheel the cart up and down the condo’s stairs. Carry your stuff up and down the condo’s stairs and load and unload the basket there by the creek. Then wheel the cart from the creek to and from your car using the long way (#1). Keep in mind there’s a 10:00 am check out time which they repeatedly warn is strictly enforced. I found this very challenging. The instructions tell you to clean the place before you leave. Cleaning and moving all our stuff out before 10:00 was really tough. You should try to get a late check out if you can. (We didn’t ask for one). Do as much as you can the day before. Don’t plan on BBQing. You’re not allowed to bring your BBQ and the unit does not have one. Don’t plan on using the fireplace. The instructions tell you not to use it. In fact from outside I saw that the chimney is covered with what looks like a painter’s drop cloth. All in all we really enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend this place.

A great rental from a great company

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent 8 nights at this location in Seascape Sur. The community is really nice, and has great views of the ocean. The balcony on this unit is excellent with views up and down the coast from San Diego to Los Angeles. Beach access is easy and close. The rental had a great homey feel to it, we could tell the owners took great pride in it. Beds were nice and comfortable, the A/C was a great amenity, we just aren't used to sleeping in warmer more humid places and this kept the unit feeling comfortable. Great kitchen with everything we needed. Stubbs was local and gave a great personal touch to everything with recommendations, physically being able to checkin and get the keys, and being very fast to respond to questions. This was a very nice stay and we'll be back when we can.

Reviewer Comments: We have been vacationing in Solana Beach for several years now and really enjoyed this unit and property. The unit has stunning views upon entering... Very nice quality seating/pillows (down/feather) on couch facing ocean and sturdy/comfortable seating at dining table.Bed was super cozy and we slept really well (better than home)... A/C and heating were a definite plus too given the typical range of highs/lows from dawn to dusk in San Diego. Mrs Meyers hand and dish soaps were a nice touch. It's the small things like this - and nicer TP stored in closet - that make a difference when away from home. (The cheap single-ply and soaps that we've found in other units makes my skin crawl and I never understand why some other properties are too cheap to supply decent mid-market stuff to match the price of the unit. LOL.)Mechanically, everything worked very reliably - sinks, toilets, laundry machines, microwave, water pressures. No leaks/irritations... Surfaces were in great shape and felt clean/fresh. A few minor updates/fixes would be nice (dishwasher not well-attached and an external door was tough to latch, for example), but it looks like owners - and development - are picking away at these things... OVERALL this place is DEFINITELY one of our favorites and we look forward to visiting again in the future. Thank you to Stubbs and the owners for such a nice experience!!! :-)
