Perfect three bed, two bath home that is handicap accessible (if needed). Enjoy the large lanai that is air conditioned or open the windows to the pool that even has a handicap lift! Enjoy the awesome sunrise and sunset while relaxing on your private dock with canal and lakes to the east and west. Enjoy fishing just outside your back door, relax in the pool, or enjoy a nice bike ride (3 bikes provided) around the neighborhood. Fully stocked kitchen, fishing poles, beach cart, floats, towels and beach chairs. Close to beaches, restaurants, and shopping. Everything you need for a perfect vacation!

Loved our stay at this home!

We really enjoyed this home! It was well appointed and had plenty of room! The heated pool and hot tub were great, and the guys really enjoyed using the kayaks for fishing. Would stay at this home again.

Great clean home in a very nice neighborhood..

Home was located near plenty of shopping and food options.. The pool was very warm even in December and my children loved that!!

This property was a very nice property to host out-of-state guests for my daughter's baby shower. It's proximity to restaurants, and attractions was great. James was very responsive to my communications.

Perfection

The entire property was very very nice. Everything was as described and met all of our expectations. The lanai was special, along with the pool, and the boat dock area was really nice. It’s close to many restaurants and stores. I would highly recommend this home.

Restful

My wife and I needed a quiet, restful and relaxing getaway and that’s just what we received at this property. The owner gave great communication on the arrangements and was very accessible for any of our questions. We spent our evenings and mornings on the patio at the canal and we thoroughly enjoyed the pool. I recommend this property!

Owner so great work with!!!

The owner was very accommodating and easy to work with. Our flight was delayed a day and he was quick to let us extend our stay. We had a question while at the property and received a call within minutes of texting him. Would recommend to family and friends!

Perfect

Perfect is a great description of this property. Home is very clean and well managed. Kristen was extremely helpful and very easy to get ahold of. House is exactly as described and conveniently located close to everything. Doc had amazing sunrise views. Pool is spacious and clean. My family and I enjoyed our stay here very much and would definitely stay here again.

Amazing property! Sets a high bar..

First of all, the host was amazing and he stayed in close contact making sure everything was okay, and telling us about the amenities available, including kayaking! The place has the most beautiful setting and the views are gorgeous, we hit the hot tub almost immediately, right outdoors under a nice tree.. This day was too quick for us! Unfortunately we spent most of our time working, but can't wait for our next projects that coincide with availability of this spot so that hopefully we can stay again!

Relaxing Beach Vacation

We really liked that we were able to visit so many different beaches around Ft. Myers/Cape Coral. Pine Island and Matlacha were not even our my radar but were a welcome surprise as they were closer. It is about an hour to Sanibel/Captiva but not bad for a day trip. The home was comfortable and the owners were easy to communicate with when we needed to. The deck off the canal was a great spot to fish and there were kayaks, bikes and beach equipment to use. We loved the air conditioned part of the lanai as it was a great spot to watch the sunrise.

Nice place

There's pros and cons to this house- as there is with any rental house. This house is great for longer stays; but for a 1 week stay for those wanting to take in Sanibel I wouldn't recommend it... for the simple reason that it takes about 45 minutes of drive time to get to Sanibel. Cape Coral is loaded with red light cameras, and you really can't go fast going into Sanibel. Now, staying for the restaurant scene and entertainment (bars) scene of Cape Coral and Pine Island- this house is located nicely for that. The landscaping is struggling... the garage side and backyard of the house needed some attention, and the house struck us as a project in the sense that there's improvements here and there throughout the house. With that said- the interior of the house and the Lania *enclosed back porch* were very nice... Actually the kitchen and living room as you walk in the front door really create a WoW factor. The grill needed attention as it didn't want to light that easily. The cooler, beach stuff and fishing gear were a nice touch and helpful. The games on the back patio *Lania, were a nice touch as well. I'd stay here again if I wasn't planning on Sanibel beach trips. This house is very close to Pine Island which has a lot to offer... except beaches. Fishing charters and rental boats abound on Pine Island though. We are a family of 5 with 3 boys- this house is... borderline for kids, as the upholstery is very nice. That's pretty much it. James was excellent with communicating. The property is ok, the interior of the house is excellent and really surprising. The pool doesn't have much sitting space around it. The pool filter should be set to stay on longer into the evening hours.

Thank you for your review. I am sure staying there during the hurricane or tropical storm that dropped 5 to 12 inches of rain in one day was challenging. Yes, the furnishings may be a bit nice for one with small children but hopefully that will not stop you or others from wanting to come to our house. Sanibel is very nice and is a 45 minute drive. That I can do noting about. I remember your telling me that was your first choice for finding a place to stay but everything was either too expensive or not available. I know that was discouraging. The fountain in the pool was set to come on at 8 am and go off at 6 pm. I agree with you that especially during the summer with daylight hours being longer when is does not get dark until 9 it would be nice to have it on longer. That we will do. Thank you for your suggestion. Again, thank you for your response. Hope you had a safe trip home..

Familienfreundlich, aber NICHT SAUBER!

Der Kontakt war sehr freundlich, der Vermieter sollte sich aber dringend eine neue Reinigungsfirma suchen. Das Haus mit allem drum herum ist in Ordnung aber in die Jahre gekommen. Man sieht im Aussenbereich einige Neuerungen, der Pool bräuchte allerdings auch einige Reparaturen. PREISLEISTUNGSVERHÄLTNIS IST NICHT AKZEPTABEL. The contact was very friendly, but the landlord should urgently look for a new cleaning company. The house with everything around it is in order but getting old. You can see some innovations in the outdoor area, but the pool also needs some repairs. VALUE FOR MONEY IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.

Dear Marcel, I am so sorry the house cleaning did not meet your expectations. This is the first tine in over a year of our renting that this has happened. When you called I called the cleaning company when I hung up from talking to you and I was assured it would never happen again. Yes the house is almost 30 years old but it has been well maintained. As you can see from all the other reviews yours is the first negative response since we have been renting. Again, I am sorry the house did not meet up to your expectations.

2 months get away

Check in was easy everything was well explained. James Brewer called to check and make sure everything was okay. We spent March and April there and things were so relaxing. Excellent neighborhood and close to everything. The pool and hot tub was so nice. Fresh water lake canal made for some good fishing. Family came to visit for a week and they all enjoyed themselves. There is plenty to do while here from the beaches of Sanibel and Captiva to Matlacha and our favorite place to eat, Blue Dog Bar and Grill. Pine Island is a really nice place to check out. If there was anything we needed James Brewer took care of it. For what ever you need this place accommodates. I could go on and on but I’m sure you get my drift. The perfect escape from Maine winter. Thanks so much James Brewer and family. So looking forward to coming back to this home again J&L
