2021 NEWLY RENOVATED! Charming 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home located in the award winning Ocean Lakes Family Campground! The home sleeps 6, there is a Queen bed, bunk bed (2 twins), and another room with a bunk bed (2 twins). Spacious living room and nice patio porch to relax on after a day out on the beach.

Enjoy all the amenities that Ocean Lakes Family Campground has to offer, such as indoor and outdoor pools, waterpark (for adults and children), arcade, mini golf course, many different beach accesses, and weekly festive activities.

This is a SUNDAY-SUNDAY rental in peak summer season.

All guest must register with ocean lakes upon arrival and obtain a parking pass. This is a $10 per/day/night, per vehicle fee which is paid to ocean lakes. This parking pass allows ALL visitors to enjoy ALL the amenities of the campground making this a true value.

Security is 24/7 and strictly enforced, quiet hours in ocean lakes is between 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.

We rent to Families and Responsible Adults Only. Must be 25 years of age or older. We do not rent to house parties. Any violation will result in eviction without refund.

This was the worse vacation I have had. When we arrived at the entrance our name wasn’t on the reservation so I had to call the owner to call up to the front and let us in. That was really no problem but still aggravating. When we did finally get in Ocean Lakes, the house was locked and no key to be found. I called the owner again and waited about 20 minutes and they brought us a key. Get in the house and it was 98 degrees in the house. Text the owner so they were aware. Told them I was going to turn it down and go to the beach. We unpacked and went to the beach for 2 hours, when we arrived back at the house the power was completely off. Called the owner and told them. They said they could refund us or they had another house we could stay in but had to leave a day earl so we moved to the other house which was only a 2 bedroom. I was refunded a night and around 100 extra. Which I thought we should have got a better refund considering we had to find a hotel for the extra night which was more than the refund I received plus we pretty much lost the first day with having to run around and pack and unpack so much. This was definitely by far the worse experience I have ever had and I’m very disappointed.

Beach

Check in was ok. Minus no keys for a while. We only had one set of keys as well. That was a hamper to an extent. Had to have communication if we was going seperate ways. Lost comms for a bit early on to get keys. Place seemed to be clean. The odor was rough for the 1st day. The washer and dyer is outside in a shed. I dont think that was in the description or described as it should be. The sliding doors are a little rough. One commode seemed to run all the time. You would have to flush to get it to stop. The place got hot. It would not hold temperature. It would get up to 78 to 80. We didnt have comms on the way out. I was gone. Had to leave unlocked. Keys hidden. Didnt know what to do. Comms with owner where keys was located. Didnt like that. I had to go. Now. The home was clean. The home was described pretty good. It did work for me and 2 kids. They could do some work to it, it would be what i think it should be. It was priced a little cheaper. I would have paid a little more had i known. Vacation is about comfort. Not dealing with little things or major. I wouldnt call the issues major. There was more than 1. Im not one to call the owner unless its major. Would i stay in that location. Yes. We stay in and around that location a lot. Probably not that home. Luckily they didnt bring friends. I dont think it would have served us well.

Ehh.

While we love ocean lakes, this property isn’t one we’d come back to. The beds were so uncomfortable that we ended up doubling up on the couch, there was no pans or hardly any cookware, one shower was broken and the other moldy, and one toilet was hit or miss if it would flush. The porch was in major need of pressure washing. We had black feet if we even stepped outside.

I love ocean lakes was gorgeous. As for house will not rent this one again so many more options. Broken shower broken toilet seat and toilet paper holder house wasn’t cleaned b4 arrival. Did get a tiny refund but very disappointing

Very dirty

This house was extremely dirty and smelled of mildew from the second we walked in the door. The doors were covered in black dust/mold, the baseboards were disgusting, one of the bathrooms and especially the shower was unusable due to how much mold and filth was in it. My toddler walked around barefoot for maybe 15 minutes when we arrived and his feet were black. We contacted the property manager and VRBO was not allowing me to message her for whatever odd reason so I had to find her personal number on the booking details to text her. She was very unapologetic. She offered a refund and told us we could go somewhere else but anyone who knows ocean lakes knows that we wouldn’t have been able to find another place to stay that week. When I threatened to contact VRBO, she finally offered to send out a cleaner to “deep clean.” The cleaner showed up the next morning and was extremely rude and rolled her eyes and said they only deep clean once a year and that’s why it was dirty. The amount of people coming in and out of these houses requires MUCH more than one yearly deep clean. She did a very quick, poor job of cleaning and the house remained dirty but at that point we just cut our losses and tried to enjoy our vacation. This was extremely disappointing because it’s not cheap to rent a house in ocean lakes and we never felt like we were able to relax and felt like we had to stay on the go the entire time.because we didn’t want to spend any more time at our house than we had to.

Watson’s GREAT beach escape!!

We absolutely loved the house! It was perfect for our family of 4! Had everything we needed, including full size washer/dryer!! Coming home with no dirty towels is always a plus! Door was open when we got there, had no needs or complaints all week!! Highly recommend!!

Cute place

We were overall pleased with our experience. We ran into a few different things we were not expecting such as not having basic things like oven mitts and pots and pans being severly scratched up to the point of not being usable. Linens were not included in our package so not sure if that included basic things like oven mitts. We picked up a new set at the Walmart and called it a day. The home could also use a thorough deep cleaning and a new bed in the master. The mattress is uncomfortable and the bed frame squeaks with any movement. All in all, the home served its purpose and we enjoyed our stay. It was close enough to the beach and to the ammenties. I will say we did not contact the host with these issues. We are not ones to make a big deal of things so it just seemed easier on everyone to just make best of the situation. I would still recommend this home, especially if you have children.

Very clean and nice place. The beds were very comfy! Location near everything.

Only complaint is the 2 nd bathroom was a bit small and it didn’t come with a golf cart.
