With access to a shared outdoor pool, just a short distance to shops and restaurants, and a private balcony perfect for dining outdoors and taking in the beautiful surrounding views, this condo has everything you need for a perfect stay on Hilton Head Island. Come back home after a fun-filled day outdoors and kick your feet up in the living area–snuggle up on the sofa and watch the news of your favorite shows on the flatscreen TV with cable.

Come mealtime, the kitchen has your back! You'll find gorgeous granite countertops, modern appliances, a Keurig coffee maker, and even a small breakfast bar that seats two. This level also features a convenient four-person dining table off the kitchen and a half bathroom. Upstairs, the main bedroom is all about comfort. It boasts a comfortable bed, an in-room jetted tub, and an en-suite full bath with a stackable washer/dryer.

The beach shuttle is free and takes guests to beach access at Palmetto Dunes two miles away.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Fun Stay!

Quaint condo! We loved the view and location. Seeing fireworks from our balcony on Tuesday night was so much fun. We loved every minute of it. I would do this again.

Nice property need updating

Location of the property was great. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Could use some updating. Bed, pillows, leaky shower faucet.

Difficult booking experience and lacking in toiletries…

We had a very hard time booking this rental. The website wouldn’t work to except payment so then we paid over the phone. For several weeks after I kept getting emails stating that I never paid although my bank statement showed I did. After multiple phone calls, several hours on hold, and several emails. I finally got a response but it took several weeks. The condo was lacking in basics. We are in a pandemic and there was no hand soap for the bathroom. We also ran out of toilet paper. Condo was also very hot and you had to freeze the downstairs in order to get the upstairs cool. Many night we woke up sweating. The check in experience was confusing. We went to check in and they told us we didn’t need to at the office and to go to the condo. When we got into the condo someone from Vacasa came in and didn’t know we were there. The cleaning crew also came in before check out time and didn’t knock. I’ve been coming to Hilton Head for years and stayed at Harborside at Shelter Cove. Next time I will not go thru Vacasa if I can help it.

Royal Treatment

Cute, quiet, clean little condo conveniently located in Hilton Head. What makes this a true Vacasa treasure is the "princess tower" you enter at the top of the winding staircase. Huge, gorgeous bedroom with a giant hot tub. You could have an amazing vacation without ever leaving the room.

Good room and good location!

We LOVE HHI and have stayed many places but hadn't stayed at Shelter Cove. This unit was good, clean and very close to the pool! We were pleased with the place and with the communication with Vacasa as it is the first time we have booked through them but it won't be the last. The only critiques of this specific unit is that the the stairs were noisy at times and occasionally the door to the porch was challenging. Having said that, it didn't take away from our experience and you are only a short bike ride from all the bike paths and amenities in Palmetto Dunes! Overall, it is a good place and I would recommend it.

Beautiful place!

We loved staying here! It was everything we needed and more. My only suggestion would be to list it as a hotel not a condo, because it definitely has more of a hotel feel.

Perfect Get Away

Quaint/cozy one bedroom in a great location. Access to everything. Shops/Restaurants in walking distance. Beach/Beach parking is 10 mins away. Everything is easy to get to. Loved it here.

Good location

The condo was big enough for myself and my husband. The pool is very small, but OK if you're not planning to spend your vacation there. The location is excellent, steps to the restaurants and shops of Shelter Cove.

Not as portrayed in ad-AVOID Vacasa!

My husband and I are not complainers and I have never left a review like this before. But I think it’s only fair to warn others so they can have accurate expectations of what they are in for. Unfortunately, the pictures do not accurately portray the age and condition of the condo. When we first arrived, we immediately noticed that it smelled of cigarette smoke. We then noticed an active water leak in the kitchen with water around the side of the fridge and leading to the back. The bottom of the cabinets next to the fridge we’re wet and had extensive damage, so the leak was not new but definitely unaddressed. In general, the condo is just not well cared for. The bathroom sink wouldn’t drain and the back door had to be wrestled closed enough to lock it. Pretty much in every room there are things needing attention or repair. That night, I wrote an email to Vacasa sharing about the smell, water leak and our disappointment concerning the condition of the condo. At no point during our stay did they reply or address those items. An hour later when we went to bed, we noticed that the AC would not click on. Within an hour, it was 80 degrees upstairs where the bedroom is. With no fan above the bed, it was a very hot night. We got up the next morning and called the numbers listed in the condo to get it repaired. We called and waited, went for a walk, got breakfast and continued to wait. Tried another number and waited. Finally got a man named Tanner who is the direct contact for that property. We first spoke with him at 10:45am. He informed us that he would call someone else and that they would send someone to see if it could be repaired. Believing that it was being taken care of, we headed off to the beach. We didn’t hear anything all day. Arrived back at the condo at about 5pm and it’s 86 degrees inside. So we began calling again. Tanner then says he is calling an AC repair guy to come out. Why was a repairman not called HOURS ago? When the repairman arrives, he informed us he would be on the roof where the unit was. We then waited again, for almost 2 hours in a condo that was 90 degrees. We finally called the repair guy to check the progress, only to find out he was not given access to the roof by the property manager so he had left shortly after arriving. He had informed Tanner, but Tanner did not have the decency to inform us. At 10pm we packed up our things and went to a hotel. Not a single apology. Absolutely terrible customer service!

Relaxing Getaway

It was a great condo and my daughter and I had a great girls getaway. The pictures are a bit deceiving for this rental. You don’t face the water/marina and the pool shown is not for this specific condo. Make sure to look into Shelter Cove and Palmetto Dunes as they seem to have some shared association. We were able to use the beach at Palmetto Dunes with the parking pass from Habourside. Beautiful little shops and trails all over the area! Lovely stay and fun little condo!!

Nice, Cozy, and very Romantic

The home was very nice, clean, and cozy!!! All tot the amenities were available as advertised. Well the iron was missing but the owner quick bought one for us when we notified her. Oh my goodness the jacuzzi was our best friend 😩😩 With this home you will not be disappointed! Loved it ♥️

False advertising on the view

The property was nice, clean, and quiet. Our only problem was that the listing states it’s a marina view while both windows and porch overlook the parking lot. We chose this place because of the advertised view. Otherwise we loved the marina and shops. The hot tub was a nice added touch as well.

False Advertising/ The incredible view was the parking lot!!

The heading on the add says incredible views. Amongst the pictures is one if the Marina. However the only view from the unit is if the parking lot. The unit, although clean, had many big stains on the carpeting in the Bedroom. Also, the unit needs some tlc and some work. The layout was nice however. Also, there was no security gate...looks like the gate was broken. We stayed at Harbour Side 2 a few years ago and it was in much better shape overall.
