Beautiful beachfront home with a private pool in between Jaco & Manuel Antonio.

This home is located on a 5 mile long secluded beach in Parrita. Enjoy the peaceful sounds of the rolling ocean waves, walk on the beach or just relax in our private pool. Town is located about 10 mins. away with lots of shopping, restaurants and banks. There are several local waterfalls in Parrita along with zip lining. The oversized backyard is great for entertaining, playing sports and special events. Manuel Antonio National Park is 40 mins away with many excursions in Quepos/MA including whale watching, hot springs, zip lining, dinner cruises and much more. There is also a bar/restaurant on the island that has great food and drinks and restaurant delivery is available via express. The neighbors offer surfing lessons, boat mangrove/monkey tours, waterfall tours and deep sea fishing right off the beach. Chino river monkey tour is 30 mins away towards Quepos and Rainmaker waterfall park is just before the Chino tour. Body boards and bicycles are also available to guest.

Wonderful oceanfront house, desolate beach and clear blue Pacific water. Saw lots of parrots, a family of monkeys and miles of coconut trees. The house was comfortable, adequately spacious, the owner and property manager immediately responsive.

The beach here is one of the most beautiful beaches we have ever seen. We love to walk beaches and you can literally walk for miles and there are no crowds. The waves were quite strong, so it’s not very swim-able, but good for boogie boarding. The communication with the host and property manager was very good; they were both very responsive. We had a couple of issues, but they were handled to our satisfaction. The pool is beautiful and we enjoyed the bird songs and iguanas. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Couldn’t ask for a better location. Ocean out the front door - pool out the back. Great restaurant up the street. Not far off the main highway.

Great home

Location is off the beaten path, which is what we were looking for. Home has everything you need for cooking, heading to the beach and hanging by the pool.

We had such an amazing time! From the amazing views, walking to the beach, enjoying drinks by the pool, and having fresh coconut water, the trip was perfection. The hosts also provided amazing recommendations for other excursions that were so much fun! Highly recommend!!!

Very relaxing on the beach

This is our second year staying at margaritaville and it was just what we expected and it was exactly what we needed to have a place on the beach with pool.

Steps From The Beach

If you want privacy and peace, this is the place. It truly is only steps from the beautiful beach. We stayed here the first week of May, and there was hardly anyone around, and we consistently had the entire beach to ourselves. The house was comfortable and clean. The sound of the waves was incredible, and I didn't even need my Spotify app for sleep sound. We enjoyed the nightly visits of the land crabs, and they were never a problem, just a fun change from everyday land life. The Mar Y Sol restaurant down the road was a lovely surprise. It gave us a place to go for great food and a beach view just down the road.Susan (the Owner) was very responsive to all our questions and was extremely helpful. We very much enjoyed our experience.

Secluded beach front property

Beautiful sunsets. Friendly neighbors and miles of secluded beach. It is a bit of a hike to Manuel Antonio park but if you embrace the Pura Vida life-style it’s a great place for a peaceful and quiet stay. I would describe the property as 1990’s Midwest beach front cottage. Compared to the other places we stayed in Costa Rica the price point is great.

The Beach

A great place for a beach getaway, very quite and private, unusual for most C/R beaches. A few more dish towels, access to the washer and dryer and an outdoor BBQ would be very nice. I will be going back again and I have recommended it to others already.

Nice place

We stayed at this place for a week in December. It is clean and comfy. The owner is very responsive. The beach is very close but not too many people swim. We had a chance to book some activities for lower than the commercial price.

Beautiful Sunsets

We had a great time at this home. Loved the pool, beach and especially the Sunsets. The best way to enjoy this house is get lots of groceries and hang at the pool. BBQ wasn’t cleaned is my only complaint. Really need a gas BBQ.

When we arrived I went to the backyard by the pool noticed none of the lights worked, went to the bathroom in the backyard tried to turn the light on and was electrocuted then 2 days later the house caught on fire do to the electrical I then contacted the fire department and had to wait outside for hour before my family was allowed back inside then for 4 days after we had no hot water also there is not a single fire alarm in the house when I contacted the owner she told me I wasn't electrocuted because I was still alive

You feel like a visitor to Costa Rica, not just a tourist!!

What an overall great experience we had staying at this beach front property!! We could sit on the front porch to eat all of our meals and wave or say hi to people as they went by. We would start our day walking the beach and it was always surprising how few people are on the beach. After our beach walk we would spend time in the wonderful plunge pool in the back of the house. Usually by mid afternoon we would grab the hammocks and hang them in the palm trees on the beach and spend the afternoon reading or just watching the ocean lull you into a mellow mood. Before you know it the day ends and we would make a martini and the beach chairs and head out to the beach to watch the sunset. The overall property was well taken care of and the house was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The bed had a memory foam topper and sleeping was perfect. Having the Ac available to turn on at night was wonderful to sleep with, but we would open the windows during the day and feel the constant breeze that was blowing in from the ocean. It was nice to feel like we were in a small community where people would interact, or you could just sit and watch the neighbourhood kids playing in the water or on the kicking the soccer ball on the beach. Shopping in Parrita is close by and easy to get what you would need to make your own meals at the house. The area is great for doing excursions such as zip lines, surf lessons, horse back riding etc. and there are a few different restaurants along the beach road to go and eat at. The owner Susan and the property manager Woody were both very responsive and easy to talk with if you needed anything. Overall we had a great time and really had no surprises renting this house on the beach.

Great property close to beach - Very Remote

We loved this house. It had all the amenities we were looking for and the house was great. It was just steps alway from the beach. We even got a chance to see wild monkeys close by!

Three day get away

We love Parrita and palo seco beach even if you have to be careful of the rip currents, the place was nice, view was just wonderful from the house. The pool was great! Has everything you need, the only thing was the mattresses in the guest bedrooms, need to change the spring mattresses. The main bedroom was nice other then that perfect.

Fantastic rental!

Our family of 5 stayed at Susan's rental for 4 nights and we didn't want to leave. It's very quiet with empty beach that can be seen from the front porch. The backyard has an amazing pool and we enjoyed every second if it. The cabana itself is well stocked and has all the basics necessary to enjoy your vacation. It is off the beaten bath, 15 minutes down dirt road but we knew that when booking. This is exactly what we were looking for.

Excellent endroit pour se reposer

Propriété parfaite pour 4-6 personnes, bien équipé pour cuisiner. Situé à 15 min de Parrita sur une route de gravier. Vue sur la mer, excellent pour marcher et magnifique coucher de soleil. Cependant la mer est agitée avec des courants de fond, donc difficilement baignable. Donc nous avons utilisé la piscine de la propriété. Pour des activités locales tel la pêche et des safaris pour voir les singes demander aux propriétaires, ils vont vous mettre en contact avec des gens de la région. Nous avons fais 4hrs de pêche sur le lagon avec un pêcheur local, un superbe avant midi! Enfin nous avons un superbe séjour chez Susan. Merci aussi à Woody!
