Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great place

Had all the things we needed. Kitchen was well stocked. Sand toys, chairs, boards for ocean! House has awesome layout! For sure a great spot on the ocean !

Great beach house in Fort Morgan!

Loved the layout of the home - was perfect for our extended family. Appreciated the big bathrooms, well-stocked and well-organized kitchen, and the ice machine was a plus. Beach-front location was great, away from the crowds, in a quiet neighborhood. There were plenty of beach toys for the kids to enjoy and a few beach chairs, in addition to the extensive assortment of deck furniture. Loved the rockers on the top deck - that was a great coffee/reading spot! We also enjoyed having some puzzles and games to play when it was rainy or we needed a break from the sun. Bedrooms are large, with plenty of storage. The house is nicely furnished, with a great view of the water. Look forward to returning to Captiva Comforts!

Home Away from Home

This home was just that. It offered all the comforts we could ask for. The Kitchen was well stocked for cooking our meals there. It was located far enough away to make us feel like the beach was ours but still a close drive to all the things! This house is worth it just for the porch/balcony!

Beautiful, spacious home

This home was the perfect size for our family! It was extremely clean upon arrival! We loved enjoying the porches, and the ease to get to the beach. We appreciated the extra beach toys, and the fully stocked kitchen with everything we needed to cook. The only negative was one of the showers upstairs did not have hot water. Other than that, it was a wonderful house and we hope to be able to come back soon!

Home away from home

Captiva Comforts is an exceptional home. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need and then some. The cabinet upgrades are dreamy! The ice maker, small appliances, large appliances make this an uber functional kitchen. The kitchen/dining/living area was perfect for our family of 8. We had plenty of room for the kids to be kids. The bedrooms and bathrooms were wonderful and spacious. The thoughtful "extras" throughout including but not limited to the outlets and power cords was noticed! Plenty of cleaning items and vacuums to help us keep the sand on the floor to a minimum. The decks have shaded spaces and plenty of seating. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck every day. The flooring of the deck and shower/landing are a nice upgrade! We appreciated the dual spaces to hose off and shower off. The walk to the beach was shorter than most. The house places you right on the beach. The walk over the dune wasn't too steep, which helped us as we had to pull my daughter on a cart since she broke her ankle before the trip. Also, this house is relatively close to the public beach access, but that certainly did not impact our stay. We felt like we had the beach to ourselves since we didn't have anyone on either side for at least 100 yards. I can't say enough wonderful things about this house. We loved it and we will be back! Thank you to the Morris Family for sharing your home with us!

1st Family Vacay on the Beach

This home was perfect! The ocean was literally steps from the deck. Private, peaceful . . . like your own slice of heaven. Toys for the kids to play with were great! There were also nets for catching crabs at night. Coffee on the deck in the mornings was incredible. The house itself had everything you needed for cooking. Lots of space to be together and to also get away for quiet time if needed. The views are just amazing. For a first timer at the beach, this house was perfect. I would recommend this home to anyone interest in being right on the ocean with a little privacy, but close enough to the action on the Gulf Shores strip and activities if interested.

We hope to stay here again!

My friends and I stayed at this house in October, and we were all happy with the property. I agree with other posters who rave about how it is literally steps to the beach, well decorated, and well stocked. One plus I haven't seen mentioned was that they have beach chairs and umbrellas next to the parking area. I was very happy to be able to use those. They also had some beach toys for those with children. The house is beautifully decorated, and 3 of the four bedrooms have beautiful ocean views. Yes, the water wasn't quite as clear as in OB and there were those wells, but they didn't really detract from the views. The beach was so uncrowded we felt almost like we had it to ourselves. The kitchen is as well stocked as everybody has said and they had left plenty of supplies for our three day stay. If you had a large group or were staying longer you would need to bring extra. That is pretty standard for other places we have stayed. There is some wear and tear on the house, but the housekeeping staff did an excellent job of cleaning. I never quite got the hang of the hot water in the shower upstairs--- I had to run it for a bit, then wait, then run it again. The first night the master downstairs didn't have hot water no matter how long they ran it. We did report it to the management company, not sure what they will do about it, but they said they were writing a ticket for it. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and hope to stay there again!

Couples beach trip

This house was perfect for our 4 couples annual October beach trip. It was a perfect setup for us. We loved that we were just a few steps from the water! And the sunrise/sunset views were amazing! Quiet location was just what we wanted and this area delivered. We will rent this home again!

Fantastic

Everything. Stayed with 4 couples and everyone had their own room and bathroom. Plenty of seating in living room and dining. Open concept for the cooks to still visit. Perfect location to the beach. Loved ice maker and sink at end of island. 10/10 recommend and will be back!

Blissful getaway

We had an extraordinary week in this home. The house was stocked with all the amenities from the kitchen to the beach toys and chairs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home right on the beach!

Wonderful Family Spot

Captiva was just what we were looking for. The location on the beach is beautiful and quiet. The house was nice, and there was plenty of room for my family. The 1:1 bedroom/bathroom was a nice bonus. We would stay at Captiva again. The only issue was communication with the rental company (Vacasa). I had reached out with a message to see what was provided (soap, linens, ect.) They responded by stating the house would be stocked for the maximum amount of occupants (10 people). However, upon arrival we realized there were only a few sample sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, and a couple of laundry pods, two trashbags, etc. I just wish they would have been more upfront so, that we could have come prepared instead of having to treck back to Gulfshores for all our needs (the few stores around us did not have all we needed). Additionally, upon arrival we found out the dishwasher was not working. I feel Vacasa could have sent a quick email so we would have known. Luckily we had packed paper plates, plasticware, etc. Overall, our trip was amazing. The house was perfect, and we will know what to bring with us in the future.

Family Memories

The home was perfect! Everything we needed was there. Private beach beautiful beach! Not too far from town. Comfy beds. Only hiccup, the cleaning people didn't finish until 5:30. However, no biggie we used the restrooms and off to the beach we went.

Nice home

It was very well equipped. Nice decorations and plenty of room. We couldn’t get the master shower upstairs to heat up and the front door lock wasn’t working properly. The house still had a lot of sand inside. Emailed and called to get help. They said they would work on fixing the issues. They sent the cleaning crew out but we already swept the floors. But no one ever came out about the shower or lock. We were very disappointed with that part of the stay.

Beach Bliss

The house was perfect with lots of room so everyone had their own space and with a beautiful communal area and well-stocked kitchen. We had everything we needed and the most amazing view. And that beach!!! Perfection!

Beautiful Home

This was such a beautiful home to stay in with our family. Couldn’t ask for better views and the walk down to the beach was so close and convenient. We definitely hope to stay again as we absolutely fell in love with this place.
