Take a trip back in time to Turtle Crawl, before high rises and congested beaches. You may even witness baby sea turtles boil from their nests and crawl for the ocean. Come fall in love with Turtle Crawl in Fort Morgan Beach and take your custom koozies home with you as a momento of your vacation!
Enjoy the sunset from your private pool deck or stroll on a quiet beach. As the moon rises over the gulf, steaks sizzling on the grill, shrimp steaming in a pot and the blender cranking in the background, time truly evaporates and takes the stress of daily life with it.
We have made some major improvements to our beach house as always. We installed all new cabinetry plus granite counter tops in the kitchen with a new sink and faucet. We also have all new appliances including a built-in ice maker and beverage fridge. We have all new flooring throughout. The hall bath has a new vanity, granite top and mirror. We doubled the size of the master bath and it now has a double vanity and granite top as well as a larger shower with glass doors. We also have a Teak dining set on the pool deck so you may relax with your drinks and snacks or lunch by the pool. The hot/cold water outdoor shower is what we have wanted to build since we bought our house and we finally did it! It's so fun to have.
If you donā€™t care to cook, just a few miles west is casual dining at Tacky Jack's; great seafood and options for the kids. The view of the sunset from their deck is unbeatable. If you'd like something closer, less than a mile east is a fun restaurant and bar, Sassy Bass (next to their pizza shop/grocery/liquor store). Formal dining at Kiva Dunes is a short drive away, as is the informal at The Beach Club Sports Bar (5 miles) or Behind the Pines Restaurant and Bar (5.5 miles). Of course, you can head to Gulf Shores for Outlet shopping, Mini Golf, OWA Amusement Park, the Zoo or the action of day or night.
Turtle Crawl is a perfect fly-in vacation or easy drive from Hwy 10. Jack Edwards National Airport (Gulf Shores Regional Airport KJKA) can accommodate from Cessna to Jet-sized aircraft. Gulf Air Center FBO is also a pick up/drop point for Enterprise Car leasing (Foley AL).

Great house for the beach! Not on the beach but only steps away! Well equipped with everything you could need. The house is located the perfect distance away from all the hustle and bustle but takes no time to get to stores and shopping.

Nice beach getaway, close to the water, very clean, well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. Pool was a clean and welcome amenity. Owners are easily reached and good to work with.

Amazing place!

The property overall was amazing! Clean and comfortable. The pool was so nice to have on hot days, early mornings and evenings when we lounged around the house. Very roomy for 7 adults. All household supplies were very much appreciated! The check in and check out process was so easy. Loved spending time here and look to booking again in the future.

Turtle crawl beach house

The house is clean, great quiet neighborhood and a minute walk to the beach! It has everything you would ever need in the kitchen and the beds are comfy. The pool got used every day, multiple times a day. We had a maintenance issue at one point that was no fault of the owners and they took care of it immediately! It was a great home away from home for the week and we would definitely stay there again!

My family agreed that this was their favorite house in Fort Morgan. Beautiful home from the inside. Easy and fast access to the beach. The best part about the house was the Pool which everyone loved. Will definitely be back

Spring Break with the Family

Nestled along the serene shores of Fort Morgan Beach, Alabama, the Turtle Crawl is a hidden gem offering unparalleled tranquility. During my recent stay, I was thoroughly impressed by every aspect of the experience, including the exceptional communication from the owners. The owners were prompt in responding to inquiries and went above and beyond to ensure that all our questions were answered and needs were met. Upon arrival, we were delighted to find the house in impeccable condition. It was clear that the owners take great pride in maintaining a comfortable and inviting environment for their guests. One of the highlights of our stay was the easy access to the beach. Just a short stroll away, we found ourselves immersed in the natural beauty of the Gulf Coast. It was the perfect setting for leisurely walks along the shore and lazy afternoons spent soaking up the sun. Back at the house, the beautiful pool area provided a private oasis for relaxation. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we felt cared for and valued as guests. I cannot recommend this hidden gem highly enough to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat on the shores of Fort Morgan Beach.

Lovely property and area. Privacy and space from others. Perfect for family with young ones. Kids loved the pool and the beach. Beach easy access and not crowded! Loved that you had both pool and beach items already provided. Loved the decor. Plan to come again!

Excellent property in a great quiet location

We decided to try fort Morgan this year for our October trip. We are so glad we did! The house was amazing and had everything we needed. Very quiet street with easy beach access. The pool and ice maker were amazing to have. We will def return!

Best trip yet!

Turtle Crawl was absolutely perfect for all of our wants and needs. The pool was warm and inviting. The beds slept wonderfully. The kitchen is well equipped (more so than most places we have stayed). The weather was great for most of the days we stayed. I would highly recommend Turtle Crawl!! It was a fantastic stay!!

Had a great time!

We always come back to the Fort Morgan area every summer and this house was at the top of our list. It had everything we needed since we flew in and couldn't bring much and the pool was the best part! We spent our days lounging by the pool and having the ocean waves in the background. Any stores or entertainment were nearby and then we would retreat to our relaxing place. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Excellent house!

We stayed in the middle of June and the house is exactly as advertised, the walkway to the beach is literally right across the street. We spent a lot of time sitting in the porch. The house was well stocked with kitchen gadgets and they had literally anything you would need. The house was really clean and so was the pool. I donā€™t think we saw any bugs in it all week. The kids had a blast in the pool! It is a really quiet area away from the busy beaches. We built sand castles on Monday and they were still standing on Friday! If you want a nice, relaxing vacation , I would highly recommend this house!

Born and raised in St. Louis, we first came to the area in March of 1982 and fell in love with the sugar-white sands and wide open beaches. We arrived under orders to Flight School for the US Navy. With our four children now grown, we had to come back.

After retiring from the Navy we settled back in St. Louis and Chip flew for American Airlines. Our dear friends from flight school, and beach neighbors (three houses east) introduced us to Fort Morgan. Having grown up in the area, he knew of the well-kept secret place. We were hooked!

We chose Turtle Crawl for its peacefulness and views in every direction from the pool deck or front porch. The open floor plan is ideal for hanging out with family and friends. We love seeing the sea turtles hatch and never get tired of witnessing that miracle. The daily distractions of life are swept away by the tide.
