The main level of the home will be the hub for entertaining with a spacious living area and a fully equipped kitchen just waiting for the chef of the group to show off their skills. Enjoy spectacular sunsets, fireworks, boat parades, and more year-round without ever leaving your back deck! That's not even the best of what this Waterfront Home has to offer, as you can fish from your backyard or jump in your boat from the dock and make your way to the Pass, Gulf of Mexico, and Crab Island in five minutes! You'll also find a separate living area on the main level with its own private entrance utilizing a Kaba lock. And when it is time to settle down, the free high-speed WiFi. has you covered for streaming favorite shows, and both bedrooms are located upstairs when you need a bit of privacy and shuteye. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Would Stay again

Great place especially if you have Littles. We loved exploring the shallow Waters just to the left of the boat docks. We found sea urchins, hermit, crabs, snails, crabs, small fish of all kinds, and loved watching the red fish and large black drum and schools of the mullet swing by.

Amazing Location

We just spent 5 nights at salty daze and had an amazing time! The properties location is amazing and you really never have to leave if you don’t want to. The home was perfect for us with two bedrooms upstairs and then a separate little apartment area downstairs. We were able to see dolphins in the harbor and a sea turtle even swam up to shallow water right in front of us! There are lots of activities provided by the owner (kayaks, paddle boards and bikes). Would definitely recommend!

Location is everything.

We had beautiful views asked were so close to Crab Island. It was the perfect location as we had a large pontoon with us. I'd stay here again for sure.

Perfect Location!

This location was absolutely perfect and allowed us to bring our personal boat to Destin with the available dock for this unit. The home was spacious and clean for 6 adults. Would highly recommend this property and will stay here again. 10/10!

Perfect location and great condo

Three friends and I came up here for a weekend of fishing in Destin. The location on the water, and the building itself could not have worked out better. There are beautiful views from multiple decks. We really enjoyed ourselves. It would definitely stay again.

Relaxing stay

We had a great stay. My husband fished directly off the back porch and I enjoyed the lounge chairs. Views of beautiful boats and the water. Everything we needed. A little dated but being renovated and in a perfect location. We will definitely return to this rental. Thank you.

Loved having a boat dock!!

We really enjoyed our stay. Having a place to keep the boat in the water was awesome!! It was very clean and the check in process was smooth. Something to note is that the “3rd bedroom” is on the lower level and NOT connected to the rest of the house. You have to go outside to get to the rest of the house which was a bit of a let down for our group.

This place would have been a 5 except for two major factors. 1) even though in the fine print, I found this out, initially looking at the pictures you would never guess that you have no access to the downstairs room. You have to go outside and around the back of the property to access the extra living space the upstairs unit really only sleeps at the most six people. Do not allow yourself to believe more than six people will all be together. The downstairs separate apartment is very hot.2) You have no place to put your boat trailer. This is an HOA property. If you only have 4 to 6 people, I would highly recommend this if you're not using the boat dock.

Awesome Home

This home was located in my opinion probably the best location in Destin. We loved the fact that we had access to a dock even though we didn’t take advantage of that it was very nice having somewhere to walk out and look at all the boats. The neighborhood was very nice and relaxing. I think with a few modifications this home could be one of the best places to stay in Destin. My biggest issue has nothing to do with the home itself but with the cleaning staff. On our arrival we found the sheets to be dingy and we had a stained mattress so we had to remake the bed and wash sheets/mattress cover on our first night in order to sleep. The Vacasa staff was very friendly and brought us a new Mattress cover that next morning. My second biggest issue is that there was no access from the bottom room to the second and third floor on the inside of the house. Our guests that stayed on the ground floor had to exit their room and go outside in order to join the rest of us in the kitchen and living room area on the second floor. This was more of an inconvenience than anything and didn’t really make a huge impact on our stay. Lastly the kitchen was not well stocked with pans and only had one baking pan and very small frying pans(the only big frying pan was very scratched up). Overall, other than cleaning the other issues were small inconveniences and we’re easily worked around. We had an amazing time in Destin and really enjoyed the home. I definitely feel that with a few minor changes this home could be one of the best in Destin and definitely would be a 5 star every time.

Lower your expectations

This property is was not to the standards that the pictures made it out to be. The front door was all rusted, garage door full of dirt and mildew, front porch full of dirt and mud and the trash bags (not in a can) from the previous tenant were still there in the hot sun. We were ready to leave before even opening the door. Upon entering the rusted door, the stairs to the main level were sticky and flooring throughout the house. We felt like we were walking in a bar that hadn’t cleaned their floors from the night before. Needless to say, we wore shoes the entire time in the house. The rest of the home inside was pretty clean. The upper deck off the master bedroom had a ton of mildew stains on the walls and on the furniture that it wasn’t used at all. The grill was also unusable because the igniter and the lighter didn’t work, so we ended up having to cook our steak in the frying pan. Be prepared to get everything at the store because they don’t provide any extras…salt/pepper, tin foil, cleaning supplies, xtra paper towels. The kayaks are basically unusable unless maybe your a kid with a good back and bum. I did use the paddle board, one was full of water, but the other was ok. Also bring your own safety gear because they’re aren’t any life jackets or bike helmets. The old tenant trash finally got picked up on the 3rd day. No trash can was provided even through we asked twice about it. The extra linens in the closet were just gross, pillows with yellow stains all over them.

Beautiful view and comfy beds!

Loved the upgraded decor. Bedrooms were comfortable. The separate dining area was great for family gathering. The water view was fabulous and the fishing was fun!

Perfect home for family and boat!

This home was perfect for my wife and I and our 6 kids. The older ones loved having a their own private space on the bottom floor. All of the kids loved swimming in the sandy area next to the dock. Bring water shoes though as there were groups of clams. The paddleboards and kayaks were definitely a plus. The dock accommodated our 25' boat easily. Water and electricity were easily accessible for the boat. The kitchen had almost everything you could think of. We will definitely be renting this home in the future!

Destin Harbor Beauty

We enjoyed our stay at Salty Dayz. Great location for boaters. Our family of 5, stayed comfortably for a week. The house is large and nicely decorated. 2 masters upstairs with their own full baths. The one master overlooks the water and has its own comfortable deck. I enjoyed this room just to read and relax. Downstairs the family room and dining room have beautiful sliders all facing the water. We used the large dining table for family breakfast and dinners when we weren’t outside using the high top table on the deck. The views are fantastic. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all our meals. The outdoor Weber grill with side burner was perfect for frying fresh shrimp and fish. The double outdoor deck was huge. Plenty of fans and lighting. There was usually a breeze outside, so it was always comfortable. The dock was perfect for our 23’ boat. We enjoyed catching bait fish right off the dock. The boat ride to Crab Island was about 10min. We also went out into the Gulf for fishing. Everything was easy to navigate. There is something for everyone here. There is a beach entrance 0.5 mile away that is an easy walk. It’s nice to sit and watch all the boats go by in the Harbor. One night we even caught a fireworks show over the water. We loved our stay. Great family vacation.
