This property was truly above and beyond our expectations. Every detail from the towels, to the tea and coffee were top of the line. (Think Rolls Royce ) The privacy, the view and the hot tub were probably our favorite parts, but there was so much to appreciate, it’s hard to even narrow it down.

This is our third year staying here and intend to come back again next year. The house is perfect for two people and has everything you need. Located toward the center of the island makes it easy to ride bikes in any direction. I do think it would be helpful to have an instruction manual such as how to use the various appliances and hot tub and what to do when checking out.

For this place, in my opinion, all you need is the deck. I just loved the peace and quiet and watching the sunset, hearing the birds, the deer, the peekaboo view of the water. Mind you, I say quiet but you will hear boats and small planes overhead, as you probably would anywhere on the islands. And for being so close to the little Lopez Island airport, surprisingly few planes. Was easy peasy getting into the village. Kitchen very well stocked and nice modern appliances.

Great place on Lopez!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Location close to town (but not too close) was great. There was some airplane noise being close to the airport, but it wasn't terrible. Overall cleanliness was great. There were some dishes that needed to be re-washed, which is typical with rentals. Communication with property manager was excellent.

This house exudes quality! Furnishings,architecture, layout, and landscaping were first rate. Super clean. The hot tub was a welcome relief after riding all day. Centrally located on the island. Perfect for two people.

Peaceful house for two

My wife and I loved the tree top house. It was a great size for the two of us with all the amenities of home. It also has a hot tub for soaking after a day of biking and paddle boating. The location was perfect for us, a short drive into town but secluded for peaceful evenings. Martin the owner and Bob the property manager were both very responsive and helpful. We’d definitely recommend this house!

Perfect would it escape for our elopement with a view of the water through the trees

There aren’t enough words to say how relaxing and comfortable this stay was. The setting was private and gorgeous, there is a hot tub in which you can look up and see the stars with no light pollution in the backyard. It is spacious and has advanced amenities that are unparalleled of any Vrbo or other companies and private rentals that we have stayed in and we are avid travelers! Communication with the host and the caretaker were excellent and they allowed a late check out because after our wedding we stayed up talking until five in the morning. It was a perfect stay!

The property provides a quiet retreat - off the beaten path. The house is well- appointed, particularly the kitchen. Loved the shower! Lots of interesting items around the house that feature the owners interests - some of them made us smile - like the cute coasters from England. Because of other commitments, we weren't able to enjoy the hot tub or covered patio, but both were a nice addition to the property. Francisco, the assistant, was very helpful and pleasant. We enjoyed our stay - really needing the quiet to unpack the work we were dealing with during the day. Only concern was the potential for skidding on the steep driveway.

Beautiful spot to relax in quiet, natural setting

The pictures don't do this place justice! Beautiful, secluded location with gorgeous forest surrounding the home (and hot tub). A family of deer visited often, we had to tear ourselves away to explore Lopez Island and the surrounding islands. Lovely finishes in the home, great kitchen and bathroom. We hope to be back again! (Make sure to research ferries before your visit - car reservation from Anacortes is helpful. Easy to get the hang of the ferries once you use them.)

Serenity in the trees.

Lovely home in the trees. Close to the water but not on it. The street is a dead end private road with very little traffic. The air port is behind the house so planes do punctuate the quiet every once in a while. The kitchen has everything you need. The bedding is very comfortable. The hot tub is nice. It was as advertised. And we were happy.

Excellent.

It was exceptional. The place was immaculate and even better than the photos. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen incredible, and the outside area spectacular. I’d highly recommend this property, especially if you enjoy nature and privacy.

Beautiful Home

Perfect Spot for a San Juan Getaway. Located near the airport on Lopez Island, this little home does not disappoint. The property is very private, hidden in the woods, I was able to watch wildlife from the windows.
