Ocean House is a family-friendly beachfront resort that is within walking distance of fine-dining, shopping and concert/festival venues. Some activities include: charter fishing boats, boat & jet ski rentals, Para-sailing, dolphin cruises, sunset sailboat cruises, beautiful back bays for boating, tubing, skiing and fishing, amusement parks, great restaurants with entertainment for all ages, golf, outlet malls, live concerts at The Wharf Amphitheater, and of course, plenty of sugary sand beaches.

Policies:
1. Check in is 4pm | Check out is 10am.
2. No Smoking in condo or on balcony.
3. Pets are NOT allowed.
4. Loud parties or gatherings will not be tolerated.
5. Must be at least 25 years old to rent. For groups of Single Adults, all guests in the group must be at least 25 years of age and proof of age will be required before approving the reservation.
6. Parking passes must be purchased at the guard shack (limit 2), upon arrival.

Great condo

We loved the location of this condo. It was clean and quiet. Loved the heated pool and just a few steps from the Gulf beach. Would highly recommend staying in this condo.

The floors need scrubbed. The bottoms of Our feet were black after walking barefoot inside the condo and balcony so not sure where the problem was. The floors didn’t look dirty. Sheets wouldn’t stay on the bed in the room off the balcony and the bed creaked a little. We would stay there again. Pool was great. View was great.

Loved our stay. September is a quiet time to go to Gulf Shores and we loved every minute of our trip. Great place with a terrific view of the beach. Loved watching the dolphins every morning off our balcony while enjoying our morning coffee.

3rd year was a charm

My Daughter and her daughter and I have made this trip for 3 years, each time a different condo. This was the best by far! I will book next years trip here at Ocean House 1 the same Unit.

Great location

We loved the large balcony overlooking the beach and pool. We saw dolphins in the gulf at least once every day. Beach wasn’t crowded, and had plenty of room. The only downfall was the cleanliness of the floor when we arrived, it was so bad my wife decided to mop the entire condo.

Family Vacation

The property was as listed. Smaller than I had thought but still worked great. Kids loved the heated pool for the colder days. Kitchen was nice with all supplies needed to cook. Washer and dryer was very nice to have for family.

Never could get in touch with security to get our parking passes and had to go off site to buy ice since security never answered after we would call dozen of times during the day

We’re sorry you weren’t able to track down security for your parking passes—they’re typically on-site after 4 PM, but we understand how frustrating it can be when you can’t get through. As for the ice, we’re not sure how that’s connected, but we do hope you made a quick run to Pier 33—they’ve got plenty of ice (and some fun souvenirs, too). We appreciate you sharing your experience and hope the rest of your stay was enjoyable.

We were there for 7 days and my phone was shut down almost the entire time unless we went outside in the front of the building or left. We paid for the place that we stayed at and we had to pay an additional $30 to park in their parking lot to access the building

However, please be aware that cell service can be influenced by carrier network availability and weather conditions, which can change rapidly, particularly on the Gulf Coast. Perfect location

This was a wonderful place to live out a relaxing vacation with family. Frontal view of ocean from living area and bedroom. Just steps to a clean beach. The pool had a unobstructed view of ocean. I could stay in pool if I wanted and easily walk down to the beach and back to condo if I needed a break from the heat. My teenagers could be at the beach and I could keep an eye on them. We were on the 3rd floor. The only thing I would change were the mattresses. Not so hard on them because their young. But the master had a terrible mattress that needs to be changed out. It really gave me some sleepless nights but the overall experience out weighed it. Please owners get new mattresses for your guests. And your condo would be perfect!!

Great Trip

The condo was as advertised. The size was good for our group. We received a welcome text asking if everything was acceptable and we responded that the bathtub had a slow drain. The maintenance came and fixed the slow drain within 24 hours. The floors needed to be mopped and this was also reported when we got the first text, I reported that our feet were really dirty after walking in bare feet the first day. However, the cleaning people did not come and mop. We could not walk around the condo without shoes and there was not a mop available. I don't feel it was our responsible for purchasing a mop and cleaners.

Very clean and comfortable

We loved our stay! Plenty of room and all the comforts of home. Extremely clean and well maintained. Great view and proximity to the beach with lots of options for dining, shopping, and exploring too! Check in was tricky as there was no one there upon our arrival; however, it all worked out and we will definitely return! Thank you for a week of relaxation and allowing us to stay in your condo… we had a great time!
