Centrally located and walkable makes Sandcastle at Avila a perfect vacation rental. The condo has 3 bedroom, 2.5 baths. The condo is located just steps from the beach, pier, surfing, kayaking, surf & pier fishing, tasting rooms, boutique shopping, Avila Beach Golf Resort and the Bob Jones Trail. This condo is sure to be a hit with families or couples getaway.

The condo is located in The Courtyard Avila. The Courtyard at Avila is award winning architecture with lovely hillside views. Private patio area within gated courtyard. Just steps to the sandy beach, restaurants, golf course, bike path, etc. All the benefits of beach life steps from your front boarding, kayaking, jet skiing, cycling, boating. Condo includes 2 parking places in secured, gated garage. The condo is directly off the garage elevator. The condo located in the middle of courtyard, west side.

Sandcastle at Avila Courtyard is a two story condo. The beach house is comfortably decorated with neutral sandy beach décor with a splash of beach vibrancy. The condo features hardwood flooring and high-end finishes. An open floor plan unites the kitchen, dining and living areas.

The kitchen is exquisite with gourmet grade appliances and granite counter tops. The living room is equipped with a SmartTV for friends and family to gather around. Sliding doors can be opened from the dining room to a balcony to hear the sounds of nearby ocean waves.

Three bedroom upstairs, fitted with crisp white sheets and fluffy pillows, awaits you after a day at the beach or wine tasting from nearby wineries. Master suite has a king bed, bdrm2 has a queen bed, bdrm3 has two twin beds. This condo sleeps 6.

There is an elevator from the parking garage to the courtyard area. This condo does not meet handicap accessibility requirements, however, the main living area is handicap accessible.

Location and proximity to the beach is perfect. None better. The problem with no AC is that you have to keep the windows and curtains open and the bedrooms face a courtyard that gets a lot of light from other condos or the alleyway behind the custom house that is noisy with workers and WILDLY bright security lights that blast right into the back bedroom windows. Bring your own box fans for the windows to pull in the outside cool air and hopefully that blocks some of the lights and street sounds.

Great stay

This condo is in a great location and super cute. There isn’t a view but it’s decorated nicely and it’s super close to the beach, restaurants and stores. Easy parking. We had a great stay.

Wonderful stay!

Location was excellent - quick walk to everywhere we wanted to go. Beds and bedding very comfortable. Loved the electric fireplace in the living room, as well as ceiling fans there and in the master bedroom.Definitely recommend!

Wonderful beach home

This place was so charming and in the perfect location to enjoy Avila Beach. Walking distance to all the restaurants and shops. The house was spacious and comfortable. Great for our family of 4 + Grandma. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great get away in Avila.

We enjoyed the close proximity to breakfast spots and coffee shops, and easy jumping off point for SLO, Morro Bay and Cambria. The condo was spacious, well equipped kitchen and very comfy beds. Lounging in the living room in the evenings was an ideal way to end a busy day.

Very Nice Unit and Great Location but Too Noisy

The unit was very nice and very clean, and the location was convenient right in the heart of the town. But the alley in the back was loud every morning and evening.

We're thrilled you loved our condo's prime location. Sorry about the noise from the nearby restaurant – we know it’s not ideal. We continue to work with the restaurant manager on a fix to keep things quieter. We hope to see you again soon for a more peaceful stay!

October break with kids

My two grand nieces are off on fall break. This rental is so close to the main beach front restaurants and shops and beach. The unit was equipped with garbage bags, clothes soap, dishwasher soap, misc kitchen needs that is so convenient when staying for a short week. Even bath soap and shampoo. We had a few needs that when inquiring to the management staff, they responded immediately.

Great getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. The property is amazing and close to the beach and downtown Avila. Additional amenities included hair dryers, TP, and a really fully stocked kitchen with great appliances as well as a pack and play in the master bedroom. The unit is spacious. The master bedroom is large. The other two bedrooms are great more for kids. The other two bedrooms do face the back alley of Mr. Rick’s and The Custom House. This is loud at closing when they are cleaning, but after that it is quiet. Seven Sisters was very accommodating and had loaner beach towels and some beach toys like shovels and buckets. We had a fun family reunion and will look to stay there again.

Room for everyone to be comfortable and had the gear we needed for the baby- pack and play, high chair, baby gate. Hard to beat the location- basically across from the beach and shops/restaurants. We never touched our car once we got there- walked to everything. Only complaint was the grill was out of propane, we didn't notice til after hours and couldn't get ahold of someone to replace it. Cooked inside, which worked, just wasn't the plan. Would definitely stay here again.

Parking garage is a huge plus. Only note, two of the rooms backup to the back alley of Custom House so it’s quite noisy at night and early morning because of staff prepping for the day.

In the paperwork that was sent it mentioned that beach towels were available on a first come basis. When we requested several beach towels they were all out. Several units were given at 6 towels. Suggestion would be to give less towels to units so that all units would be able to get at least 2-3 towels or purchase more towels and charge rentals for missing towels. Beach towels are cumbersome to take when traveling with food,kids and other vacation items.

Graduation Weekend Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed at Sandcastle for Cal Poly grad weekend. Close enough to campus for events, far enough not to get caught up in crowds. Condo was clean and generally quiet, except for some rowdier guests next door. Complex backs up to Mission Pizza and Custom House restaurants, so really convenient for dining and walking the beach. Parking is also a major plus, as Avila gets crowded during the day on weekends. No ocean or mountain views from the condo, and the back bedrooms can get dark. Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and nice. Otherwise nicely appointed for meals and get togethers.

Winter Beach House

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was fabulous - right behind the restaurants on Front Street, just steps from the beach. Our trip happened to be at the coldest point in the winter. I would recommend that fellow winter travelers pack slippers as the tile floors are very cold and shoes are not allowed in the house. With slippers packed for our next trip, I would definitely rent this condo again. The dining area was a good space for everyone to sit and enjoy meals together. The gas fireplace and comfortable couch were thoroughly enjoyed by all.
