Beach and baseball

We stayed here for a baseball tournament/beach trip. The location was perfect for the boys to fish in the lagoon directly behind the condo. Pool right outside the door and the beach was right across the street. Very convenient. Lots of good places to eat nearby. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent Property

Everything was clean, the floors not a single grain of sand on them. The whole place was practically spotless. Great access to the beach and not very crowded like most beaches are. Acceptional fishing from the two docks. Caught a ton of silver croaker, pin fish, pig fish, hard heads and a few trout none big enough to keep. Kids had fun fishing.

Great place

We enjoyed our stay here. It was everything we needed and wanted with two on site pools and right by the beach. The beautiful fishing piers in the back were so amazing and full of wildlife. The only real complaints that made me give it a 4 star was the wifi. It wouldnā€™t load anything, but thatā€™s more on the provider than the house. Would love to stay there again in the future.

Great place to stay for the price. Well worth it.

Loved being by the lagoon as well as the beach. Pools were a little chilly but nice and clean. Sleeping arrangements were great. Spacious enough for a family of 5. Nice appliances (refrigerator, washer, dryer)

Loved the location!

We enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect. Having beach access dedicated to the condo complex right across the street was super convenient and meant we didn't have to haul gear down the street to the public access. The two pools in the complex were nice too. It was too windy to enjoy the beach one day during our stay, but the pools filled the gap. Our group was four adults: parents and two kids, so the second bedroom with two twin beds was key (and difficult to find). Having two full-size dining tables was nice too - one for eating and another for games, laptops,... We didn't experience any of the issues mentioned by others: mattresses were fine, shower worked well, place was clean and management was quickly responsive to our questions. The decor was quirky - definitely beach-themed - but we weren't there to spend time in the condo looking at the walls, so it just made the experience all the more unique.

Just the factsā€¦ No WiFi provided. The listing included internet until we arrived. The router was on the counter but no modem to be found. I was provided a WiFi name and password upon check in and the home had instructions on how to deal with the internet during a storm. Spoke with customer service and no solution was offered. For the price we paid, this was very disappointing. The television in the living room is connected to a neighbors WiFi so it technically worked. There were long black curly hairs on the living room and kitchen floors. My family is blonde. There is water damage to the floor from the water heater which is in the hallway. The water faucets are super tricky! The kitchen sink faucet moves while the water is running and is near impossible to turn it off completely. You have to find the sweet spot. The master bath DOES have VERY hot water but you have to search for it. The faucet is so finicky; I took cool showers just to be safe. My suggestion is to use the hallway shower so you donā€™t freeze or burn your scalp off. The check out process was simple but clean up was a trek since the dumpsters are at the entrance to the complex and this unit is at the back. It was a short walk to the beach and two huge pools for the guests to enjoy. Plenty of room to lounge about and catch the coastal breeze on the balcony. We enjoyed our beach vacation and counted 4 mermaids and 69 starfish amongst the decorations.

Family getaway

Property was decorated as pictured- cute beach decor throughout. Second floor walk-up. Nice balcony facing pool. Short walk to beach. Bay and pier right outside by parking lot. Plenty of room for our 4 adults and 1 8yr old. Quieter area of town, which we.appreciated. 15-20 min drive to everything in Gulf Shores or Orange Beach. Only issues with the unit: main shower handle in need of replacement- needs a bit to get water to right temp. Carpets in need of replacement, stained and odorous, and 1 broken pictureframe in master bath was not replaced. With only these "issues" everything else was great- and the fact that there were puzzles, 2 dvd players and some kids movies to watch, books to read, plates, silverware, etc. It had 2 table sets. It really was a nice comfortable place to stay. Hint: bring your own pillow cases, extra towels.

Long list of problems including roaches, shower rod and curtain down. Knobs off closet doors or off their runners. Screens off doors to balcony horrible stains on carpet. Etc. etc.

Hiccups along the way

We enjoy the condo complex and have rented many units over the years. We received a call while driving to Gulf Shores telling me that our unit had some flooding and fans were distributed throughout the unit. The agent asked if that was ok. I did not want to stay in a damaged unit and had several calls to try to relocate our family. Unsuccessful attempts were made to relocate and we ended up in the original unit with fans. We unplugged fans when we arrived because there was no damage to the unit or moisture in the unit. The maintenance department never picked up the fans after they were promised to be removed two days in to our trip. The unit is very outdated but met our basic needs. There was massive amounts of noise from the pool area and from the unit upstairs from us. When we contacted our local maintenance manager we were told to call the police for noise. Overall we enjoyed our beach experience but were disappointed in the management of the unit.

Excellent Experience at Sea Oats

My family absolutely loved staying at Sea Oats! Being on the bay, going fishing & setting crab nets was so much fun! We loved the condo and location! Would 10/10 recommend!

Great location with easy access to the beach! The condo was nice overall.

The condo was as described and the location was great! The pools were great as well. The carpet in the condo was musty smelling-we ended up getting some carpet refresher and it worked great! There were only 2 pillowcases on pillows so I bought more as well. When we pulled out the sofa, there were several small blankets wrapped up in the bed, so I donā€™t think they were washed. The space was great, perfect for our family of 5. Once we fixed those small inconveniences, all was great!

We loved the location of this condo. We had the pool right out front, the beach across the street, and my husband enjoyed fishing off the pier located right behind the condo. The kitchen provided us with everything we needed for cooking dinners.

Great, quick getaway

My family and I have vacationed at Sea Oats for years. It was great to be back! The condo could stand be updated, but it was clean and had everything we needed. Excellent stay for an excellent price!
