Hello and thank you for your feedback. The items mentioned pertain to the building and not the condo you rented or Coastal Life Vacations. We have not heard of other guests in Marigot Beach having issue with the elevators. There are four elevators in that building, so I would think if one was having mechanical issues, there would have been others to use. Parking spots are labeled by unit number. If another guest is in an incorrect spot, you should be able to notify the condo management office on site to assist. They are usually quick to take care of these types of things and would have given you a temporary spot to use until the issue was resolved. We cannot comment on the staff of the building management as they are not part of Coastal Life Vacations. Most likely this was seasonal office help. Again, we thank you for your feedback and will send your notes to the building management. Coastal Life Vacations would like to offer a response to this review. First, please take a look at all other reviews of this gorgeous oceanfront condo. Only ONE negative review in the lot....and it happens to be from this guest. Now to the direct response to the guest's claim. The guest notified our office upon arrival that the property was dirty. The first thing we did, as is protocol, was ask for photos and would they like us to send a cleaner back to the condo. As this was going on, Coastal Life Vacations reached out tot he cleaner. The cleaner informed us that they had spent over an hour and a half in the condo as they have a special relationship with this property owner and wanted to make sure everything was perfect. As noted in the other positive reviews for this condo, cleaning has NEVER been an issue. The guest responded to our offer by stating they would not provide photos and that they did not want our cleaners to come back....they had hired their own. I can tell you now, if these guests did indeed hire cleaners to arrive within an hour on a Saturday during the summer in Ocean City, then they must have some powerful connections. So now, everything Coastal Life could do to resolve this issue was declined by the guest. An hour and a half passed and the guest reached back out to our office and stated she now had photos....the same ones requested during first communication. Not sure how these photos came to life after the guest self admittedly stated she would have to dig thru the trashcan to take them. Please note, no photos were ever sent to Coastal Life Vacations. The guest stated she was unable to send them thru the VRBO messenger, so we provided her with an email to send them to. Still....no photos. So again, no photos of dirty condo, and declined cleaner. All this guest is looking for is money back. It's like going to a restaurant... ordering a steak. Saying it wasn't cooked correctly. The waiter offering to take it back and have the kitchen correct the issue. The guest declining all while not letting the waiter see the steak....eating every last bite....and then asking for money back. We can't fix what we are not allowed....nor what we can not find to be valid. So, if you are reading this review, take these items away from it: 1) If a condo is dirty upon arrival (which is most likely not going to be the case as noted in other positive reviews), please let Coastal Life send the cleaners back and fix things so that you may start your vacation off on the right foot. 2) Read ALL of the other reviews associated with this beautiful vacation spot. At the time of this response, we have three 5 star reviews and two 4 stars....nothing less. Unless you count the above, which I hope you see thru. Thank you.

Hello Michael. When you booked this beautiful oceanfront condo, I assume you made sure to look at all the photos? If so, you would have seen the 4 chairs at the dining table, and the two barstools. Exactly what is in the condo. Seeing this, you should have known how many seats were in that area prior to finalizing your reservation. If it wasn't going to work for you, then maybe you shouldn't have booked this condo. That being said, there is also a table in the living area that can be used for eating, as well as the bistro table on the waterfront balcony. That equals 10 places to eat. The very same number the condo sleeps with 2 King Beds, 2 Full Beds, and a Queen Sleep Sofa. On July 5th, you sent us a message at 2:15am mentioning the ice only making 1 inch balls and your need for additional chairs. The very next day we had two folding chairs delivered to the condo. The ice size was an interesting complaint. Not sure that the size of the ice cube matters as long as it keeps your drinks cold. I actually enjoy round ice cubes a it reminds me of my childhood. Different strokes for different folks I guess. In regards to responses from our office.... You called twice that we have record of. Once at 6pm in the evening, and the other at 2pm on a Sunday. Both times, it was after hours and the calls were immediately answered by our emergency line. The 2pm Sunday after-hours call requested service for a slow drain. We were able to send a plumber to the property that very same day to fix this for you. Quick turnaround times are what we do here at Coastal Life. Our office reached out to you thru two different emails prior to you responding to us. Once on July 2nd at 4:21pm, and again on July 3rd at 2:21pm. You did not reply to those messages until your 2:15am message on the 5th regarding the ice and the need for chairs. Seems as if the delayed response is coming from your end. Also please note, our cleaners are awesome. Not once during your stay did you mention an issue with the clean. If you take a look at other reviews, you'll notice cleaning is not an issue here at Coastal Life....we have the best in the business. We're sorry that you did not enjoy your stay enough to give us a 4-5 star review like every single other guest that has stayed in the condo (if reading this, please check out all the other wonderful reviews this vacation rental has), but as you can see it wasn't for lack of us trying to accommodate you Michael. Again, different strokes for different folks. Thank you for your time.
