36 Lake Ave - You have found the perfect Rehoboth Beach rental with a PRIVATE POOL! Located just a few blocks from the beach / boardwalk with off-street parking for 3 cars + 1 on-street parking permit - there is no better vacation option. Making memories is what this vacation rental is all about! The home owner has left out no detail updating this property. 36 Lake brings the taste of modern day living to that Rehoboth Beach charm which so many properties no longer have. Highlighted items in this rental are: - Private Pool - Heated Pool open late May through the end of September. Weather pending the pool will stay open through mid October. - Plenty of Outdoor Seating for Everyone Around the Pool - Fenced-in Backyard - Hidden Primary Bedroom on First Floor - Play Area Under the Staircase - PS 5 with Plenty of Games for Living Room TV - Game Room on 2nd floor - Each Bedroom has a Roku Smart TV On the first floor you'll find your tastefully updated kitchen, living, and dining areas. Off of the dining room you'll find a natural hidden entrance to your large primary suite with king size bed and private access to the pool area. On this level you'll also enjoy the screened-in porch - perfect for relaxing and sipping your morning coffee or evening beverage. Coming up the steps to second floor you'll find an amazing gaming area. Talk about a cool spot to enjoy with the family/friends making memories! Off of the gaming area you'll find an additional primary suite with a king bed. This room has a private deck with plenty of seating for everyone to enjoy those Rehoboth Beach nights year round! You'll also find another bedroom off of the gaming area. This room has 2 bunk beds, and there is also an additional bathroom on this level. On the third floor you'll find 3 additional sleeping areas. Two of those rooms have king size beds, and the other has a twin. *Please note that these rooms on the 3rd floor have an A frame pitch in ceiling - around 6ft. This house has it all! Book and start making memories today!

All VRBO reservations are a booking request only until confirmed by Property Manager. You will be required to sign a Residential Lease Agreement and make your payment within the required deadlines provided or your booking request will be cancelled. As a property manager, we welcome “Special Event” rentals. All properties are individually owned and not all properties are available for “Special Event” rentals. Credit Card payments subject to 2% fee.

Pool can be heated for an additional $150 per day.

A linen package can be purchased for your stay. The cost of the linen package for one week's stay is $320.80. To purchase the linen package please indicate on the linen addendum, an agent will be in touch with the lease agreement and additional paperwork.

This house has a great location. It is minutes from Rehobeth Avenue for great access to restaurants and shops. The pool was perfect for afternoon and evening swims. The front porch was so comfortable and is where we spent most mornings and evenings. Large couches allowed for ease with enjoying movies and kids to relax. Open kitchen into the dining room worked well for meals. Parking 3 cars was ideal. We came with 3 families. There are lots of comfortable sleeping locations. I would recommend this house for 2 families with kids. Two of the king beds were on the top floor. One was only accessible via a spiral staircase with small steps and the other did not have much room to move and no storage space for clothes. We had a great week and would recommend this property.

This ended up being the perfect place and spot for our group. We enjoyed how open and bright everything was. The kids did not get bored! And the adults had anything they needed within walking distance. Great place for great memories!

So close to fun!

We loved being close enough to restauarants, boardwalk and other fun activites, but away from the noise. Having our own pool was definitely a plus and the kids enjoyed all the fun activities and games the house had to offer.

Fun 4th!

Fun last minute rental for our group of 10. We loved the main floor master suite and the pool was wonderful! Stairs are a tad creaky and the AC struggled upstairs but still nice house with lots of separate spaces for everyone. The beach was a short walk through cute neighborhoods.

Great Vacation spot

The property was very good. The central air broke down and when we let the owners know they sent the maint man out with additional units and made it better. The lay out is good and functional for a group of 13 since I like to cook a little more kitchen tools would be my only knock- everything was well maintained and we felt at home.

Great walkable Rehoboth house!

While staying with 2 other families in Rehoboth, we were looking for a house that had a common area to relax, an outdoor area to hang out, and walkable to Rehoboth. This house checked all the boxes and then some! Very clean and well appointed. Check in process was smooth and efficient. All rooms were as pictured. The pool was a nice addition for the kids to unwind mid-day with a swim. All in all this was a charming house with unique fun areas for kids and adults alike. We will definitely consider renting this house again if it is available for our chosen vacation dates!

The house is soooo convenient to shopping and dining out that we walked everywhere! The parking was ample for our group and easy to get in and out of the driveway. We LOVED the outdoor pool space - there were jellies in the ocean so family time at the pool was a lifesaver for our trip. The family areas downstairs (living room and kitchen) worked well for our group with plenty of seating. We did not cook much but the kitchen was stocked well. We did make a suggestion to the owner about luggage racks or some type of place to put clothes, but there were plenty of hooks for hanging towels, bathing suits, and some clothes so that helped. The response to any inquiries or needs we had was super prompt and efficient! Thank you to Myles for all of your support to make our stay wonderful!
The pool was our happy place this trip!

Wonderful for families

We had two families with kids who brought friends. I love the way they maximize the space so that families can hang out and watch TV together or be at the pool. I also appreciated being near the business district. Even though it was a little bit of a walk down to the beach, we figured out how to haul our stuff down by car and then have someone drop us and walk back. Many days we carried things back home and stopped along the way for a bite or a drink in the small business community and cool off. We cooked at home most of the time and laid out food buffet style. So the long table and the counter were really helpful for that. The Wi-Fi worked great. There’s some central air, but there’s also air conditioning units in most rooms. We felt like it was the right fit for our family and hope to rent again.

vacation

This house does not have closets, this was a big issue for us. Bedrooms are small, the ones on the last floor, attic, are very small, almost we cannot stand up. The House has good areas for kids, the main floor has a playhouse, and the 2nd floor has games. The pool is good, the issue was all around the pool and backyard is grass, it was soaking wet because it looked like a new sod, it is missing a patio, umbrella.

Thank you Regina for your review, and I'm glad to hear you enjoyed your stay at our rental. We try to ensure that guests are happy and enjoy every part of the rental while on vacation. The pool was newly installed this past summer, and that is why the sod was bit soft. That should not be an issue going forward. We also understand the rooms on the top level have low ceilings, and that's why we have that listed. The owner has also put smart TV's in each of those rooms to ensure that guests are comfortable and enjoy those spaces as much as possible.. Great location, house needs updating!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay.Some pros: great location, pool!!!!!!!, several bedrooms. Has a play house for toddlers and some games and video games for older kids. Cons: We had to go to the realtor and pick up our parking pass, which we have never had to do. Spending 10k should warrant a little better treatment than that. The house was dirty, especially the floors. It felt musty overall. The backyard needs new furniture and some better lawn maintenance. We chose to rent linens (towels and sheets) through the realtor. These were all paper thin and NOT worth the price at all.

Thank you for taking the time to submit a review. The owner reads all reviews and tries to better the property every year. This year he installed more outdoor furniture as well as additional games for the kids. We do require guests to sign out for the parking pass. The reason for this is Rehoboth charges $300 for a parking permit if they go missing. We have tenants sign out and acknowledge receipt of it, should they want to utilize it. Again, appreciate the feedback as we look to improve our rental and guest experience every year!

Great Location, Solid House

The Good: The house is located in a pretty great location, close to a couple solid restaurants and a short walk to boardwalk/beach other restaurants and shops. House was as advertised regarding amenities, second floor game room and pool were great for young kids. Kitchen had a good amount of utensils and cooking equipment. The Bad: The house was definitely not cleaned thoroughly before we arrived. There was crumbs and empty food wrappers under one of the beds along with juice/beverage stains on some of the bedding in the bunk bed room. We also found several loose pills in one of the bedrooms, which was not ideal with young children staying in the house. The house has no cleaning supplies or a vacuum cleaner.

The photos & description of the property were accurate. It was a great place for the whole family. The kids (7 & 8) loved the hidden playroom and the adult kids liked the game room on the 2nd floor. The one king room is very small but the bed was comfortable. The only issues were that the property was not ready for us at the 3:00 check-in time. The cleaning crew was there until about 4:30. And there was no internet when we got there. It took a few days to work it out and we were compensated for the issue. Overall the house was a great place for our multi-generational family vacation.

The location of this house is great. The upstairs bedrooms are very hot and have air conditioning units in them, not central A/C. Sheets and towels are not provided, so you need to purchase the linen/towel package or bring your own. There’s a door code on the house, but you have to stop by the realtor’s office to pick up and drop off the parking pass.

36 Lake Ave was an amazing time. It had so many positive things. The amount of things they had to do in the rental for kids was amazing. The kids' playhouse and rock wall were a hit with my little ones. The arcade games upstairs were fun and had a TV in every room. The enclosed front porch with a swing was fun. The pool was a refreshing experience for them, as well as for days not at the beach. The beach, shopping, eating, and the park were an easy walk, but a stroller made it easier with the kids. The negatives were just small things, like small maintenance items needing to be fixed (broken chair pedal and blind needing fix) and cleanliness issue (we found a molded clementine peel in the playhouse). When we reached out to notify of the maintenance they did send a person to fix issues too. Overall, was an excellent stay and would stay here again.

Perfect for a big family

House was fantastic! There were 11 of us and we had plenty of space, enjoyed the games, and got a lot of use out of the pool. There were only two issues. One was that the bunk bed room stayed hot. There doesn’t seem to be a source of A/C or ventilation in there. The other issue was the parking. The house came with a parking permit but it wasn’t clear that you had to park way down the street with that permit. We received 2 parking tickets because no one made the street parking rules clear to us (and we’d never been to Rehoboth). Other than that, the house was everything we needed.
