ACROSS FROM BEACH - 3 Bedroom 2.5 Bath home Sleeps 9. House has all hardwood floors. Master bedroom has a queen bed, large closet for clothing and flat screen television. Master bedroom has sliding glass doors that lead to outdoor shower and gazebo. Master bathroom has one sink with shower only. 2nd bedroom has a pyramid bunk bed with twin top/full bottom and flat screen television. Third bedroom has 2 twin beds and flat screen television. 1/2 bath is located near the front door. Living room has double sleeper sofa, chair and flat screen television. Living room also has a set of sliding glass doors that lead to outdoor shower and gazebo. Fully furnished and fully equipped with side by side washer and dryer, ice maker, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, blender, 4 slot toaster, 5 cup coffee pot and Keurig. Dining room table seats four but three more chairs are at the island in the kitchen. Concrete driveway and outside shower. Front porch has love seat, 2 chairs and 3 tables. Gazebo has love seat, 2 chairs and three tables. Ocean view from gazebo. You can walk to the beach without having to take your car or golf cart. Enjoy the outdoor and indoor pool facilities. WIFI, NO PETS, NO SMOKING Linens are not included but linen package can be purchased. Enjoy the Oceanside Village Community that includes private beach parking with bathrooms and open showers, indoor pool, two outdoor pools with splash area for the kids. Also renters can use playground, volleyball, basketball, bocce ball and tennis courts. Golf carts can be rented thru Oceanside Village.

Only a few minor things:The twin beds are hard and make a lot of noise when turning in the bedThe gazebo is nice but needs railings to help get down from the living room and master bedroom.Other than that, a wonderful place.

The perfect beach bungalow

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Every year we say that we should look at another property in Oceanside village... but we always end up with 2004 Lark! It feels like home, cozy & convenient for my family! I hate to brag too much on our little bungalow, we would be devastated if it wasn't available for our vacation! Rose real estate is top notch in our book!

Quick walk to the beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to Oceanside Village every year for 5 years for our family vacation. We’ve stayed at homes in the backside, middle and now right up front of the community. We really enjoyed that the house gave us quick access to the beach, though the traffic sounds early am weren’t as pleasant. We love to relax, cookout and play games some evenings, but unfortunately the grill that was advertised in the listing was no longer there. That was a bit disappointing. Listing should be updated or put another grill there.The beds were comfortable, but the pillows could use replacing. There was a bit of a mosquito problem in the 3 bathrooms, though could have been the many storms we had that magnified the problem. Parking was very minimal at the house, but with strategic parking, we were able to fit a Toyota Sienna van, 2 small cars and a golf cart (until we had to charge the golf cart). Overflow parking is not too far away at least. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and there was plenty of room for 6 of us to stay and not be on top of each other.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was very nice and clean. However, the air condition was stuck on 68° and we froze most of the week. A little noisy at night being by the beach road, but the home was quite comfortable and we certainly did enjoy our stay.

Super cute beach house

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Booked this last minute and super glad we found it. Had previously booked at a resort and actually much happier we wound up here. I was with my 2 kids (under 12) and 85 year old mom and the sleeping arrangements were perfect for everyone. House was clean. Perfect beach location. Loved all the friendly neighbors and walking right to the beach. The gazebo is the cutest and so nice to having your morning coffee on and people watch on the evenings. We can’t wait to go back!

Feels ike home!

We have been using Rose Real Estate for the past 14 year's, they go the extra mile!!! This was our fourth year renting this house. Beach & Cafe is across the street & I love the gazebo! We have our routine down for our week stay and after we are all settled in on the first night I look around and think we are home! It's a cute little bungalow and if your a reader, check out the books in the TV stand in the living room! I always leave my vacation books after our stay and look the following summer to see if they are gone!

Love Lark buy needs some TLC

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stated at 2004 Lark 5 years ago and loved it. It was cute and convenient. This year nothing has changed. The house is in need of updates. Paint would go a long way. The couch is stained and dirty. The counters in the kitchen need replaced. The flooring needs repaired in spots. Otherwise the house is still convenient. As far as cleanliness the house did not appear clean. The previous renters dirty laundry was still in the house. I wondered if the sheets were even clean. There were dirty dishes in the sink and the counters were dirty. Outside there were sand toys scattered everywhere. I would stay in the village again but probably not Lark until some changes take place.

We enjoyed time on the decks together in the evenings. We enjoyed the amenities such as the outdoor pool, the perfect beach with parking and just having the privacy of a home to stay in is so much better than staying in a hotel. Needs deep cleaned inside and outside and work done. The owners just care about the money.

The property needs work and a better cleaning company. The front porch was loaded with sand and leaves, we started tracking in stuff from the minute we arrived and started unloading. The dressers are damaged in every room, so our clothes stayed in suite cases all week. The vines are coming through the window in the master bedroom. The gazebo was also covered in sand, there is no table out there and no lights. The furniture was in bad shape. The grill is small and you need to bring your own gas and clean it. The outside of the property was dirty covered in sand, leaves and dead plants. I wish I could upload pictures.

Great Vacation!

Amazingly close to the beach which was nice, all appliances were present and worked well. Hardwood floors were a nice touch and we loved all the outdoor spaces. Now for the complaints, beds were not comfortable at all, the sliding glass door in the master bedroom did not lock, the front door was difficult to lock and unlock and never really felt secure when locked. The grill on site was extremely small and so dirty it was unusable. These were very minor issues for us and we really enjoyed our stay none the less. I would recommend to a friend regardless of the small issues.

Perfect for Our Family

It was clean, had plenty of supplies/things for the kitchen, and it was set up to made feel like you are at home. I spent most of my days on the gazebo. I would recommend cleaning/replacing the white curtains out there, we did need to open them when it was raining and they were not in the greatest shape. I do not recommend trying to park 2 big vehicles here. I have a Yukon XL which is the only vehicle we brought and there was barely enough space to fit it in there. Also not a big deal but the tv in the master bedroom is so far away and of smaller size that you really have to squint to see anything on it. We really loved having the outdoor shower as well. The private beach access is literally across the street so it's very convenient. Great location and overall great house.

Sofa fabric/chair getting dirty from use - needs good cleaning. Diningroom table needs to seat 6 to 8 for games etc. Sectional or better seating (cleaner seating) needed in livingroom area. Countertop ice maker would be great addition.

Location good but won't be staying here again

Good stuff first... this was our first time at this location/residence. We've rented through Rose Real Estate before and have had no issues with their communication. However this rental was unfortunately not our best experience. Some of the things listed below are out of the property's control but please be mindful. We usually stay a couple streets back in previous years but my family has recently grown with an almost 1 year old so we thought we'd move a little closer to the beach in the event we needed to get quick access of something or needed to come in due to the heat. But the noise from the road and fireworks, as late as midnight at times, we're horrible. The outside shower door was broken off. Parking was very tight. And to top off the parking an electric company was out servicing/replacing a transformer which to appears to have leaked some type of liquid(very oily) all over my vehicle and it is not coming off. The furniture inside could be updated a tad but that's nitpicking. Overall positives though is if you want a house that's close to the beach access, and you dont mind the noise, this house is a good location. There were a couple small beach toys that were included. The gazebo outside was also a nice little addition.
