It’s not every fall break vacation that a hurricane hits the exact spot and exact day of your planned trip. Once we got past the issues of nature and Destin was for the most part okay, Glass Casa worked to make sure our unit was okay, power was restored, and we could continue our fall break plans. The home is our new favorite at Destin Point (and we’ve stayed in several properties there over the year) and worked perfectly for our two families. Any issues that arose, whether post hurricane related or just general questions, Glass Casa responded quickly and effectively. We hope to return to the same house next year and look forward to booking with Glass Casa again!

Lovely Home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 2nd time staying in this home for our annual family vacation. The house is nicely furnished and plenty large enough to accommodate 2 families with young children. The pool is great. The location is tucked back in the neighborhood which is nice but they have discontinued the tram service so be prepared to shuttle yourself to and from the beach. They do provide 4 bikes that make the beach trip short and easy.

Great Family Trip

We loved the house! It was just like the pictures show it. The house was spacious and clean. It was perfect for our family of 8 adults and 4 children all under 3. We will definitely be back and look forward to making more memories next year!

Destin Point vacation June 2025

The house was amazing, lots if room , walking distance to beach, no busy roads to cross. Community pool was beautiful and overlooked the gulf. Kids rode bikes freely! Kitchen, living room, balconies were wonderful. We love the area have vacationed for many years with the kids, Staying in the house made it easier! will definitely come back . 😀

We have been going to this resort for over twenty-five years. This exquisite home was exceptional. It was too nice for a beach rental. It had large rooms, open floor plan, beautiful walk-in showers, laundry room, ice maker, ping pong table, and pool. It was very organized and extremely clean. It had a generous deck with eating area and seating overlooking the pool and pond area with ducks and turtles. It also had bikes to ride at your disposal. Very grateful for the opportunity to enjoy our family trip while staying in this luxurious home.

Wonderful family unit

One serious issue is that the upstairs master Suite and adjacent bedroom looking over the lake does NOT have any Privacy window treatments. The sun start shining in at 4:45 am every morning. The adjacent room had similar issues sharing the same porch.

Our family of 12 had plenty of room to "spread out" with our individual rooms and bathrooms. The wet bar area with the small refrigerator was a nice addition. The full size washer and dryer came in handy. The house is not on the beach but the neighborhood tram service was wonderful (especially when we had kid toys for the beach). The tram is just a phone call away. The two lady drivers were so pleasant!
