The host and house were amazing! The house is adequately stocked with towels, games, kitchen accessories, blankets, etc. the host was able to accommodate my family and I last minute due to a last minute cancellation from a different property, had I seen this one first it would have been my first option! My family and I had a great time! Would definitely recommend.

Very well appointed house with a lot of fun options for kids. The game room with the pinball machines and racing game was great! The golf cart and 4-person bicycle were used often. We went to many of the different public beaches and found that the one on eighth street was the best. There was parking for the golf cart and ample space on the beach, and even partial shading. We planned our meals around the blackstone and that worked out great!Great kitchen space with large eating areas inside and out. We had lots of fun and hopefully will be back!

The Tequila Sunrise home was just perfect for our family of 6 adults and 6 children ages 6-11! The house is super clean, well stocked and in a great location. Beds are super comfortable. All 12 of us could eat together in the dining area unlike other places we have rented. We loved the pedal bike, golf cart and nearby playground. The kids played in the lake. We had fun playing the pinball and video games too. We spent a great portion of our weekend on the spacious and comfy front deck where we could look out on the lake and listen to the waves. There are so many lake activities within a 30 minute drive. We visited the Magee Marsh which is about 3 miles west of the house. Thank you for allowing us to make family memories at the Tequila Sunrise!

Wonderful stay!

House was clean and very well stocked for any occasion or weather. There are things to do for all ages. We had a family holiday get together and this house was a perfect place.

My son and his wife stayed at this house they seemed to Love it there owners was very nice and helped us throughout getting our large family gathering put together. Renting 3 out of 4 homes worked out great for my 28 my family. It was so much fun.

Family Vacation

The house was perfect, lots of room for my entire family. All the beds were super comfy. Stacy was wonderful to work with. Overall, we had a great vacation and we would definitely stay here again.

Family fishing weekend

My husband, son, sons-In-laws and grandsons loved the place. Perfect place for any group. I would definitely recommend it.

Magee Marsh Birder Stay

A spacious place to stay close to the birds of Magee Marsh and Ottowa National Wildlife Refuge. A well equipped kitchen and two full baths compliment four comfortable bedrooms. Alexa will help with lights, the pinball machine and music.

Trip

We stayed to take a fishing trip. The fishing was cancelled for weather but luckily there were plenty of ways to keep entertained at the property. It was a nice weekend trip

Family fishing trip

Fantastic, Clean and Fun

We had an amazing stay! The house was so clean and used the square footage fantastically. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were spacious and the neighborhood was quiet at night. The kitchen was stocked well with everything we needed to prepare meals for all nine of us. We had fun with the bikes, the games and the golf cart. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Yearly Family Vacation

We enjoyed our stay and it was a very good area with friendly neighbors. Great access to the beach and a lot of available outdoor activities and a nice mix of things to do. Overall we were able to go to area attractions like Cedar Point and still be entertained on calmer days in and around the house to enjoy our time. Loved the Tiki bar room for entertaining after the kiddos went to bed at night. The house had a lot of great features for a two-family vacation stay.

Excellent lake getaway!

One of the best houses we've ever stayed in. Clean, great amenities, and super close to the beach. The owner was always just a text message away. I see a few people have complained the rules, but for us we felt like everything was just well communicated and there was no request that wasn't incredibly reasonable. Check in and check out were a total breeze. Excellent house, will definitely rent again.

Great spot for a quick getaway

Property is awesome. Lots of toys for both kids and adults to enjoy and a large yard with a fire pit. Owners were super responsive and even called to make sure check in went okay! The property is also just 5-10 minutes from the Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge which is great for hiking and exploring. Only draw back is the power plant nearby (mostly just an eyesore) but all in all we would return here for sure!

Great for groups with kids

The house was great for our group of families with kids. There are TONS of extras that you won't find in other rentals; the Arcade Games, Pinball, Bike Cart, and Golf Cart were all awesome. We used this as a base camp for day trips to East Harbor State Park and Cedar Point. The Blackstone griddle was great for preparing big meals.

We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back! Everything was exactly as pictured and advertised, and the property was immaculate. Our host called to make sure we got in ok and everything was to our liking. This was a really nice touch and felt very welcoming. I most enjoyed the location, which was perfect for birding during spring migration - the main purpose for our trip. The kids enjoyed the golf cart, arcade games, on-site available card and board games, the backyard area, the playground just down the street, and the super short walk across the street to the lakefront. You aren't going to find a McDonald's right nearby, but there are fantastic recommendations for local restaurants in the guide book at the house, and there are well-stocked grocery stores in easy driving distance. There's even a gas station and restaurant that can be accessed by the golf cart from this property without having to go out on the main road. Howard Marsh is super close and was a fantastic place for birding, and there were tons of other parks and reserves in driving distance, as well. The Toledo Zoo, a drive-through safari, and Cheese Haven were among our favorite nearby activities, and we rode the ferry over to Put-In-Bay one day as well. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay, and I can't wait to come back in future years!!
