Lovely home and great layout.

House was very nice and clean. Amazing outdoor space although the landscaping blocks the view of the beach. Layout is nice and worked well for our family however the decor is not very child friendly. We all agreed that the main thing missing was a television in the main living area.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a fabulous stay at 16 Piping Plover! The home fit our family perfectly and the view was simply amazing. Working with Coastal Home and Villa was a breeze – we would definitely rent this home through them again! Thanks for the best stay!

Family vacation

My wife and three adult daughters had a great week staying at the oceanfront Sea Pines home. The location is awesome and the home was spacious and comfortable. The ladies loved the pool and quiet time at the beach! The only negative, for us, is that the HVAC thermostat did not allow us to control the lower level living space. It was VERY cold down there.

Everything about 17 Piping Plover was great! Perfect location! Our group loved watching the World Cup poolside! Communication was exceptional: prompt and speedy! House was fully equipped with everything we needed. We loved all watching sunrise from the deck and convince of beach access. 5/5

We came with our family and were extremely happy with the house’s location. The house is situated right on the beach which is spectacular. The views from the main living area as well as the primary are picture perfect. There is a shared path to the beach with multiple neighbors to the right of the house.That being said, we were underwhelmed with the house itself, given the price. The house presents much newer online and has a lot of personal belongings. It does not feel like you are staying at a Vrbo, more like a distant relatives house which felt uncomfortable. The house is not suited for small children. Also, you cannot use the outdoor fireplace that is pictured. You also have to wash the beach towels upon departure. The management company was extremely helpful and responsive. The check in process was smooth and we had no issues from that standpoint. Overall, the house is beautifully situated on the beach, has wonderful views, but presents different online versus what you are paying for.

We're so pleased your family enjoyed the home's spectacular beachfront location, breathtaking views, and that you found our team to be responsive and helpful throughout your stay. We also appreciate your thoughtful feedback. This home is somewhat unique in that it serves as the owners' primary residence for much of the year and is only offered as a vacation rental during the summer season. Because of that, it has a more personal feel than homes that are furnished exclusively as rental properties. We understand that this isn't every guest's preference, and we appreciate you sharing your perspective. While the outdoor fireplace is pictured, it is not available for guest use, and this is noted in the property's listing. Our request to start a load of beach towels before departure is intended simply to help our housekeeping team prepare the home for arriving guests during busy summer turnover days. We understand departure mornings can be hectic, so if guests aren't able to do so, we simply ask that they let us know - we're always happy to take care of the towels after checkout. Thank you again for your valuable feedback. We're grateful you chose to stay with us and are glad your family was able to enjoy one of Hilton Head's most beautiful oceanfront settings.

We had three families totaling ten people and this worked well for our needs and interests. We had plenty of room for all the activities we wanted to pursue. This is one of the best stretches of beach we have stayed on in Sea Pines and the home’s location is perfect. The layout was great and outdoor space was amazing. We’ve used Coastal before and love working with them.
