Good Afternoon and thank you for your very selfish and self-centered feedback. Everything went well with your check-in up until the hurricane, just like everyone everywhere else in Florida going through a natural disaster. We all did not know what to expect. This property is a block home and the most of any damages consisted of tree debris in the yard. Some water did surprisingly form small puddles and make its way into the property in a couple areas, as you had explained to us and then receded right after the hurricane. Hosts could not be on property right away as we too had trees down blocking our personal residence roadway with no power. When we did finally make it out to the property, the next day, we brought your family restaurant food that we ordered from the neighboring city, a generator to power the property, and a dehumidifier. You all did NOT proceed to cancel your reservation right away, as we were not aware that you all decided to leave until the very last minute. You could have cancelled your reservation right away and not wait until after to blame the Hurricane on us. We understand that all of this confusion was a result of a natural disaster outside of our control and fortunately with your family residing at our residence during that time period, your family were still safe with no physical harm. We need to being unnecessarily negative with review boards to try and tarnish a property owners property because you are upset about the Hurricane.
