Surfside Zen...Steps from the Beach!

Literally steps from the beach, this 2 bedroom, 1 bath condo in Port Hueneme offers all the amenities for a family vacation, weekend getaway, or just some relaxing down time with friends! Recently remodeled, this first floor unit offers peaceful décor, an open floor plan, and a patio that steps out onto a central grassy area. From here, you access the walkway that takes you to the private access gate straight to the beach!

The living room is spacious and comfortable featuring a smart tv, light blocking curtains, and board games. The kitchen is fully equipped and easy to use with all modern conveniences including a full-size dishwasher, toaster oven, and Keurig coffee maker. Enjoy meals at the kitchen bar, the dining table, or the outside patio! The bedrooms offer either a queen or two twin beds to accommodate a variety of guest needs. The bathroom is roomy with counter space, storage, and a walk-in shower. There is also a washer and dryer so you can relax knowing you can keep your clothes fresh on your vacation. Beach towels, wagon, chairs and a cooler are provided for your beach excursions.

Surfside condominiums offer so many amenities and you’ll have access to all of them! The community building features an indoor heated pool, spa, ping pong, pool table, foosball and workout equipment. Outdoor you’ll find barbecues and picnic tables, 2 playgrounds for kids, basketball and volleyball courts. Hueneme Beach Park, plus Bubbling Springs Recreation Area are walking distance, and include walking and bike paths! All this, plus the beach!

Hueneme Beach is truly a little hidden gem, featuring a wide expanse of sand, a fishing pier, and great views of the Channel Islands. Nearby Oxnard Harbor has a great farmer’s market, plus boat trips to the Channel Islands. Just a little farther north is Ventura, with beach town charm, surfing, shopping and dining. From Port Hueneme, it’s easy to explore the area from Malibu to Santa Barbara!

We have installed exterior cameras for security purposes, and to monitor that our rental policies are upheld.

At Surfside Zen beach condo, you can do as much or as little as you like! It’s up to you!

Everything was perfect! Well furnished and supplied. Very comfortable and "sensible" furniture for us who struggle to get up off the low stuff! Quiet neighborhood except for when the Dodgers won the World Series (but no reflection on the host or accommodations)! Although we weren't able to take advantage of the amenities like beach or clubhouse, we enjoyed everything about our stay!! If the opportunity should arise, I'd be back here in a heartbeat!

Great for relaxation and recharging! We loved our stay at Surfside Zen. The location is perfect for enjoying the boardwalk and the pier. It is a peaceful area, even on the weekends. There are many good restaurants nearby. The condo is well stocked, nicely decorated and the bed is super comfy. William is an excellent host, who is quick to respond to any questions or needs.

Property is exactly as pictured, small and cozy!! It was perfect for our stay and close to the Navy base to visit our sons. There were beach chairs and towels for use for the beach, although the outside temp was so perfect we just sat and relaxed. (The ocean was a bit chilly for us being used to the Jersey shores). We were close enough to do some sight seeing, visited the County Fair and a few restaurants. This was literally the perfect spot for us!!

Location was good, however the smell of cigarettes from what we were told is the upstairs neighbor was like getting hit in the face with a brick every time we had stepped foot in to the place. Over all the place was clean, orderly and had everything you would need but the smell of cigarettes was tough.

We had a great stay in this spacious, well equipped and well located apartment. Perfect for the beach and plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby.We really appreciated the beach chairs, parasol and swimming towels and the terrace overlooking the gardens.We would stay here again and would highly recommend it.

The location was walking distance to the beach, indoor pool and hot tub in the club house was nice to relax in at night. The condo was clean with nice decor. There was only 1 fan in the living room and in 1 bedroom; wish there was a fan in all the rooms to help with air flow when the windows are closed. There is a lot of light coming through the windows at night; would recommend curtains to block the light.

We had a lovely long weekend at Surfside Zen. Willam was helpful and accommodating, the kitchen was well-stocked and convenient when we ate meals in, the building was quiet and just a few minutes' drive from restaurants (there's also one within walking distance by the pier which was recommended online but we didn't try). Port Hueneme has a very wide beach, great for long walks. Has all the ingredients for a restful vacation. Thanks William!

Beach holiday

The place was comfortable and clean and overall worked well for three people. Loved the patio with its nice view and the short walk to the beach was a big plus and our favorite restaurant (Surfside Seafood) was very casual, had good food and was literally a five minute walk from the unit. Couldn’t ask for more.

The condo is as advertised:located steps from the beach,no roads to cross, nice concrete sidewalks along the beaches, private / secure access to the property,the grounds are well maintained,and the residents are friendly.Our weeks stay was wonderful, we enjoyed the local atmosphere: walking, visiting restaurants, sea bee museum, and sea cave kayaking in the Channel Islands National Park on Santa Cruz island I highly recommend this adventure. The condo met all our needs, comfortable and clean. The owner Wiliam responded within minutes of any text, and i thank him for checking and returning my sons car keys after we left. we will definitely return.

The kids loved the pool! I loved the beach! The place was so cutely decorated with ocean themed decor. My daughter said it was great and very comfortable and that it was the best place we’ve been :)

Wonderful stay in Port Hueneme

Surfside Den is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. The flowers were blooming! The condo was well stocked with everything we needed. We really enjoyed being steps away from the beach. We visited multiple state and national parks which were all within driving distance! Thank you!

Close to the beach and very clean!

We enjoyed our stay in this condo that is very close to the beach. The condo is immaculate and well appointed to make it easy to head to the beach (beach chairs in the closet for you) or cook a meal (kitchen has it all). Most notably, William the host was amazing when I messed up the reservation dates and he could not have been more understanding and willing to help us- we are truly grateful for that.

Great place

My family came to stay here during Christmas and New Year vacation.Pros: has beach toys and chairs and including a cart for dragging gear, kitchen has all the basic stuff we needed, there’s a few puzzles and games there, everything was as described. It’s just a few minutes walk to the ocean, we really enjoyed the beach volleyball court and fishing pier that is 10 minutes walk away, we enjoyed the condo association amenities (pool, hot tub, basketball court, volleyball court, playground, pingpong, foosball, extra toilets and showers for when someone didn’t want to wait, library lounge). It was very clean and well maintained. The owner was very responsive by phone when we had questions.Only con I can think of: smelled cleaning chemicals the first couple days

Relaxing By the Beach

My son and I enjoyed our stay at this beach condo apartment. The location was perfect, with a beautiful and safe, short walk to the beach, easy drive to Ventura Harbour and surrounding attractions. There was an issue with the sliding glass door to the patio and William had it fixed right away. The apartment was clean and had nice decor. I loved the keurig coffee pot and kitchen with extra things like tupperware and ziplock bags. We will definitely be staying here again next time we come to visit family in Camarillo.
