Entire house, perfect location, quiet friendly neighborhood, 4 houses from the sand. 2 bedroom, 2 full bath, updated and tastefully styled cottage home on one level, sleeps 6. Cozy fireplace, family, kid and pet friendly. Enclosed backyard patio with gas BBQ grill and umbrella and dog run. Spectacular view of the ocean from the deck, seats 6 with lovely cushioned adirondack chairs and cantilever umbrella.

Had an amazing stay at this beautiful property that is a short walk to the beach. The home is nicely decorated and maintained in excellent condition. The set up was perfect for the 6 of us and dog friendly! Great host communication and easy checkin. They had 3 bikes and several boogie boards available for our use. I feel it's one of the nicest VRBO houses we have stayed in!

Even better than the pictures

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this beach cottage. We traveled with our two Dogs, and daughter (6yo). The cottage has everything you need to come, drop your bags and head straight to the sand. Which is exactly what we did. You almost can’t help but set unpacking aside as the sound of the waves calls you to take a deep breathe and relax. We didn’t spend much time indoors to be honest, there were bikes to ride, shells to find and a cute little town to explore. For dinner, the local places open at 5, but if you take the bikes to the marina, just a short ride, many options available. Kitchen has everything you need The house is very clean, updated and beachy feel. The fenced in back patio is wonderful for bbq and dining alfresco. Although you can’t beat the view from the rooftop deck. I have to say glass of wine up there after kid is asleep and dogs worn out was my fav part of the evenings. I have zero complaints - we intend to make this a regular visit.

Great stay over the Holidays!!

We have stayed at a number of different properties through the past few years, this property was the most well appointed, updated, and stocked property we have stayed at. We’re struggling to find any complaints other than the single mattress in the living area was super hard and uncomfortable-but that didn’t matter because there are 2 foldout sofas in the same space that were super comfortable. The house is called the “Deck House” for good reason, the views from the deck are great for the neighborhood and enjoyable at night with the firepit. The living room fireplace was equally enjoyable. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would revisit again!

The Deck House

We booked The Deck House for a three-night stay at the beach with friends and family. The Hosts were great, and the house was perfect. You can't beat the location. We are looking forward to our next stay @ The Deck House.

Lovely house near the beach

Family stayed at this house and highly recommend it. It has been remodeled and appliances and fixtures are new and clean. The owners stock the house with lots of beach goodies like chairs, umbrellas, bikes, and beach wagon. I recommend staying here.

Fantastic beach house!

I recommend this property to anyone looking for a Relaxing vacation. The home had everything you need for the perfect vacation. The owners are Lovely and very responsive! Would rent again!

Beautifully decorated and comfy place. Every need has been anticipated. Beach just a short walk down the street and super nice upper deck to enjoy the sun/sea breeze.

Beach house Gem!

This house was everything our family needed for our quick getaway! From the amazing deck (with a view of the beach), to the little details like having yummy snacks when we arrived, & having EVERYTHING (including a wagon!) for a perfect day at the beach. Communication with the owners was swift, kind and helpful. We will absolutely stay here again when we come up to Oxnard. Thank you for hosting us!

Post Labor Day Family Gathering

From exceptional, timely responding hosts to simple thoughtful welcoming touches this property is a winner. When it is difficult finding properties that are pet-friendly these hosts were thoughtful enough to provide bowels for pet food and water and a pet bed. The well stocked garage with beach items, bicycles, washer and dryer was appreciated. From the 2-3 minute walk to the beach to the exceptional home we highly recommend this property for beach vacationing.

Lovely property in an awesome location

We were absolutely beyond pleased with our stay at The Deck House. It is updated and appointed with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing time at the beach. We utilized the amazing deck, bicycles, beach chairs and of course the home away from home! We definitely want to rent again soon. Thank you to the hosts for making our stay enjoyable and seemless! Thank you as well for the treats you left…loved that!
