Classic Beach Bungalow, 1/2 block away from the sand, located in the middle of gorgeous Silver Strand Beach. Silver Strand Beach is a mile long beach, this property is located in the middle between "La Janelle" and "The Jetty". One of a kind single story beach home with newer faux wood floors in living and kitchen area, light and breezy fans in every room, tastefully decorated with flat screen TVs in living room and master bedroom. Eat in kitchen area with two bar stools and cafe dining table that seats four. Kitchen is equipped with stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, Keurig Coffee maker, and all the necessities. 1st bedroom has a bunk bed and a single bed, master bedroom has a queen bed that sleeps two, and 3rd bedroom has a trundle bed that sleeps two. Nice size backyard equipped with fire pit and Bar-B-Q. Lovely outdoor seating area that adds to the relaxed beach living . Washer & Dryer in garage. Bikes, beach toys, beach chairs, beach towels, and a wagon to cart everything in down to the beach! Parking for four cars in the driveway, plus one car in garage... Enjoy photographs of beaches from around the world in this relaxing beach cottage!!

This property was amazing! We were there for our son’s wedding. The wedding party stayed a short walk away on the beach. Roomy, comfortable, close to the beach, with plenty of beach toys. Would love to stay here again! Definitely made our stay more memorable.

Had a wonderfull time spending 2 delightful weeks. House is on a very nice residential neighborhood only 1/2 block from the beach. House was very clean and kitchen had everything you could need. Nice enclosed yard was great for our small dogs. Had a nice patio table, fire pit and bbq. Had beach chairs, bikes and a wagon to haul supplies to the beach. This was our 2nd stay this summer. Highly recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 2nd stay at Aaron's house. The location couldn't be better only a half block from the beach in a nice residential neighborhood. Check in was extremely easy. The entire house had been rennovated since our stay last year and looks great. House was very clean. Kitchen had everything you could need and Wi-Fi access was easy. Bikes were available to use as was was wagon with beach equipment. Enclosed yard was great for our small dogs. Had nice patio table, barbecue and fire pit. Felt right at home here and will definitely be back.

Fun at the beach

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The property is cozy while still having enough room for all 6 of us. The parking is ample. There were lots of beach amenities avaliable with easy access to the beach from the property. The check out requirements were super easy (probably the easiest we've ever experienced). I highly recommend this property.

Another wonderful stay

This is our 2nd stay at this cozy comfortable house. The house has everything we need - plenty of room, a great kitchen, outside patio for relaxing and close to the beach. I can't imagine staying anywhere else.

We enjoyed our stay in Silverstrand. The house was very clean and it was so close to the sand. It had a lot of nice extra touches such as coffee pods, beach towels, and bikes. The owner was very nice.

Great accommodations and location!

Pleasantly surprised by a well supplied large kitchen. Many amenities. It was perfect for our family and just a short walk to beach. Fire pit in back was a plus with clear directions for use. Would definitely stay here again.

Paradise at the beach!

We booked Aaron's house for a week at the beach visiting family in the area. The house was just perfect- clean, comfortable, roomy, with relaxing outdoor space. Convenient parking but an easy walk to the beach. Anything we needed was a short drive away and we were provided with info on local hot spots! Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy a home away from home. I would recommend this place 100% and hope I can get back here again myself!

Shirt walk to the beach

Easy check in, loved the outdoor area in the back with the fire pit. One full size bathroom, one shower, tub for 5 people, not ideal. The half bath in one of the bedrooms was so tiny, my husband is a big guy and he almost got stuck in there! The door opens too close to the toilet, you can barely stand up! The kitchen could use better cookware with appropriate lids and better dinner plates. other than that we made it work! On the downside beware of tar on the beach, sticks to your feet like gum! I researched and found out olive oil removed it! I brought a bottle of olive oil from home and it came in handy! Be sure to bring extra toilet paper. The main bathroom only had two rolls for 5 people for 4 days. It was reasonable in price and great weather. No regrets.

Girl's weekend oasis

I treated 2 friends to a birthday weekend. Aaron's house was just as described, and some. It is a cozy, peaceful get-away place, with comfy couches and beds, in close proximity to beach bike paths, wineries and nearby Ventura night life. One reason we chose Aaron's place was because it had bikes and helmets to use. They could use a little tender love and care, but we were happy to be able to explore areas away from Silver Strand (bike locks and a seat adjustment wrench would be helpful, but this is a bike geek writing). The whole weekend my friends kept saying what a good find Aaron's place was. The backyard fire pit and BBQ were reaching out to us, but there was just not enough time to enjoy it all. We would come back in a heart beat. Thanks, Aaron, for creating this lovely, relaxing beach oasis!

We purchased the "Cottage" because of our love of the Ocean.. Nestled in a lovely area, Silver Strand was just what we were looking for. As native Californians and born and raised in the Ventura we were thrilled to be able to purchase and share our home.

As "beachcomber fanatics" the vistas and wonderful community is just what we were looking for. We have decorated and stalked the home for all your needs, from bikes, chairs, WIFY, lovely backyard with fire pit.. We have had the good fortune to travel the world to some of the most lovely beaches, we have decorated the walls with our travels, we feel that the beach at "Silver Strand" is spectacular with views of the Channel Islands, dolphins surfing just steps from our home.. Bliss..
