Luxury home with a 40-foot dock to enjoy fun on the water with or without a boat!
Just as shown in the photos this beautifully upgraded home is the perfect spot to relax in comfort. There are two bedrooms on the main floor and a loft – sleeps 4 adults comfortably and the loft has two twin beds. The deck is perfect for enjoying fun in the sun for breakfast/lunch or sitting around the firepit in the evenings with a glass of wine. Enjoy this outdoor living space year-round. There is a tranquil view of the water from the master bedroom which also offers access to the deck, and has a master bathroom.
The updated kitchen is complete with just about anything you will need while away from home. There's a quaint and private courtyard entry. There is a laundry room in the house for those who may wish to do laundry while vacationing. The fabulous location offers easy access to the Channel Islands Harbor, Seabridge Marina and the Ventura Harbor. To complete the waterfront lifestyle there are two kayaks and two paddle boards. You are within minutes from the beach, shopping, restaurants, the farmer's market on Sundays, and Oxnard Park!

Please note there is a ring camera at the front gate, the front door and overlooking the back dock (not the back deck) for safety and security.

Reni Rose, the owner, was incredibly helpful and super responsive whenever we had questions. The house is absolutely beautiful with amazing views, and it was spotless—there were truly no negatives. I highly recommend the ROSE RESORT!

The host, Reni, was very responsive and the home had all the amenities you might need and some that you might not even think you need. It was the perfect location for a trip to Channel Islands National Park. Would highly recommend!

This home is even better than it looks in the pictures. It has all the amenities you could need and the kitchen is stocked with anything you might need to cook. The host was quick to respond and help when we had an issue and the check in/check out process was very simple. I would highly recommend this home and host and hope I have another opportunity to stay again!

Beautiful comfortable home! The beds and couches were very comfortable (my husband is picky) and the kitchen was very well equipped. My friend had planned on an iron being available at the home (as noted in the listing) and the owner delivered a new one that evening (amazing unexpected service to ensure we had what we needed!) The back deck was great in the morning and evenings -- all in all a wonderful home for exploring the area.

Great waterfront Channel Islands Harbor spot!

We had a few friends meeting in town between SF/SD for a fishing weekend. The location was perfect, had a nice boat dock available for use (fit a 30' boat tip to prop), and the home was well-kept/stocked. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Great weekend, would recommend!

We couldn’t have asked for a better host than Reni. From initial inquiry to checkout she was responsive, helpful, kind, and flexible. The property is, as listed, on a canal and there were kayaks at your disposal. It was within walking distance to the beach and bicycle rentals. A five star hotel was also just a few short blocks and you could have a meal or drinks there. Situated between Oxnard Harbor and Ventura Harbor, you can rent boats at the former and take cruise boats from the latter to the Channel Islands or on wildlife spotting excursions. Highly recommend Yolanda’s Mexican Restaurant nearby. Avoid Portola’s Italian. The unit had everything needed to cook simple meals and the washer and dryer was a plus. We liked that it was secure and relatively private. I don’t think you can go wrong at Rose Resort! Thanks, Reni!

The location and property itself are both perfect. Kayaks and paddleboard being on site were our favorite. Beds and furniture are comfortable. Plenty of kitchen items for cooking meals. Drawers and closets filled with owner items. Tv remotes were a challenge to figure out and the batteries were corroded in most. Living room fan made irritating noise. Microwave top fell off and fridge has old condiments in it. The place could use a refresh with a maintenence person to ensure everything works properly. Outside lounge chairs were too dirty to sit on and the propane was empty with owner notes saying to buy your own propane. There are cameras on the dock and at the front courtyard that are not disclosed in the listing. Dryer does not work, owner or housekeeper left a note stating it doesn't work. Asked owner about said note and dryer and she did not immediately present a solution but instead questioned our guest count, which wasn't over our booking limit and it was our immediate family, not a party situation. Which felt quite weird to be honest. Overall nice place, just older and needs some updates given the pricing, odd that we found out about cameras after we had been there for a while and that felt uncomfortable and like a micromanged situation with too many rules.

Charming house on the Channel

This is Our second stay at house. We love being on the water to enjoy kayaking and stand up paddle boards . The house is comfortable with everything you will need to make yourself at home. We plan to rent again

Quaint and cozy!

Loved the property… Very clean and neat. It served well as a homebase for our various jaunts to other destinations in the area. It was within walking distance to an uncrowded beach. There were plenty of nice restaurants and cafés close by. Would definitely stay there again.
