This was a wonderful place to stay. The house was clean and cozy. It is only steps from the beach, the backyard is very homey, and the hot tub worked great. The nearby Beachcomber Tavern and proximity to the ocean made our stay extra enjoyable. We will definitely book this house again.

This beach house was so perfect. So clean and equipped for everything you need for a wonderful vacation. I will definitely book this beautiful place again. Walking distance to the beach. Close by shopping. Very nice host, great communication with host Wendy . Highly recommend

The location of this property was awesome! Walking distance to the beach, private backyard and cozy living room were all great. Loved that it’s pet friendly too. We had a wonderful stay at the beach. Thank you Wendy & Alan for hosting.

This is definitely a cute little place to stay. Great proximity to the beach and kind of cool to be so close to the Naval base.The host was wonderful and responsive.The property is definitely older and could use some updating in the kitchen and bathroom. Overall the bathroom, kitchen and bedrooms were clean and comfortable. However, there is definitely some deferred maintenance that should be taken care of.Overall a nice experience though.

The kitchen and bathroom are in keeping with that beach bungalow vibe and we do not advertise it either as a newly updated bathroom/kitchen. Adorable beach cottage just a few houses away from the beach. Charming and cozy. The backyard was nice with lights and a table, perfect for a glass of wine. Would love to go back.

This is a nice little house in a great location with easy access to the beach. It has a side gate and outdoor shower which made it very convenient for hosing off our sandy feet and beach toys. There was plenty of room in the backyard to keep our outdoor equipment including bikes and paddle boards. We enjoyed walks on the uncrowded beach several times a day and boogie boarding in the surf. One thing to note is that the home does not have an air conditioner. This is not unusual for the area and should not be an issue 90% of the time, we just happened to go on the hottest week of the year. There are numerous fans provided in the house but it was still toasty. Also, there is a coffee bar that has a single serve Keurig and a 5 cup mini pot. If you are a serious coffee drinker and like to load up a large cup before a morning walk on the beach then it may not suit your needs. We wound up buying a normal size pot for our stay. We had a small issue and the host was extremely responsive and accommodating with an immediate solution. Aside from the beach, a highlight was renting jetskis nearby and finding ourselves in the midst of hundreds of dolphins just offshore. We had a great time and enjoyed the unbeatable location.

Cutest Cottage!

Cute, clean, 3-min walk to the beach, hot tub, cute areas to sit and relax… amazing communication with hosts!!! Will be back and highly recommend!!!!

Beach Bungalow

Perfect location to access beach. Great two bedroom, living space and kitchen. Darling back area with hot tub. Owners had the place nicely decorated and well stocked with need kitchen items. Glad we booked!!

Hidden gem

This house is a 2 minute walk to a hidden gem of a beach. Very nice decor inside the house and in the backyard

Just Perfect!!

We stayed 3 nights to visit family for an 80th birthday! This rental was perfect! Gives you beach vibes- Beautiful and very clean and organized. Quiet neighborhood and beach is literally 4/5 houses down! The Oxnard area gave me a feeling of laid back friendly welcoming neighbors. The owner's were easy to contact and responsive.

Perfect stay

The beautiful beach is super close (as described) with easy access. Parking right out front, laundry was necessary as we did go through towels! The home was clean, cozy and welcoming. Communication with the host was stellar. Beds were cozy, as was the couch! It has a pull out bed but we didn’t use it. Lots of extra blankets but we had access to the heat to keep it just right. We loved the hot tub, boogie boards and lovely back garden sitting area. Great stay, would totally come again.

Great location!

We had a nice stay at this home. It was quiet, near the beach, and had a nice backyard with hot tub. Communication with the host was easy— I was apprehensive because I saw the most recent review on another booking site at the time that said the kitchen was not well stocked. I reached out to the host prior to discuss & they said this was the first they were hearing of it (maybe they don’t read their reviews?). The impression they gave was that we should have everything we need. Ultimately, we booked, and when the host followed up to see how our stay was going I was very transparent that the kitchen doesn’t meet even the bare minimum of supplies I anticipate in a vacation home (zero frying pans provided for example). Hopefully they rectify this for future guests, otherwise I would not book again or recommend.

Such a great location and cute little home. Everything looks just like the pictures shown and we enjoyed the area. Classic California beach but not crowded at all-we were there on a weekend too. Would come back again!

This whole experience was amazing. So close to a beautiful beach, cool Navy Base, the house was adorable, clean and so charming!! Beds were super comfy, the neighborhood was quiet. I can't say enough kind things about our stay here. This is a true hidden gem!! Thank you thank you thank you!!

Everything was amazing . From booking to checking in to the stay to checking out . The house was super cute and clean . The hosts were very nice and communicated effectively. The hot tub and backyard was maintained well . The neighbors were nice as well . Id definitely stay here again if I come back to the area !
