Discover the allure of mountain living at its finest in this charming 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo nestled within the scenic beauty of Sugar Mountain, North Carolina. Embracing a harmonious blend of comfort and convenience, this condo offers an ideal retreat for those seeking relaxation and outdoor adventure.

There is not central AC in the unit. Ceiling fans are present in each bedroom and the family room. The property has large windows in each bedroom as well as windows and a sliding glass door with screen in the common areas of the home.

Entering the condo on the second floor, you're greeted by a cozy living area designed to provide both warmth and relaxation. The living room serves as the heart of the home, boasting comfortable seating and a focal point fireplace that invites you to unwind after a day of exploration. Adjacent to the living area, the well-equipped kitchen offers a functional space to prepare meals and gather with loved ones. With modern appliances and ample counter space, cooking becomes a pleasure, whether it's crafting a leisurely breakfast or a hearty dinner.

The condo features two well-appointed bedrooms, each offering a haven of comfort after a day of adventure. The queen suite is a retreat in itself, featuring a private en-suite bathroom and a tranquil ambiance. The second bedroom offers cozy accommodations with a full sized bed with a twin trundle and easy hall access to the adjacent bathroom, ensuring convenience and privacy for guests.

One of the highlights of this condo is its location within the enchanting Sugar Mountain community. Explore the beauty of the outdoors year-round, from hiking, golfing, tennis, and biking in the warmer months to skiing and snowboarding in the winter. Immerse yourself in the stunning vistas and invigorating mountain air that surround you.

Additional Notes:
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two.
- Towels and linens will be provided for you.
- AWD or 4WD vehicles are required during winter months.
- Parking space for up to 2 vehicles -- one vehicle in paved parking lot and one vehicle in overflow lot
- This home is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets to this home.
- Laundry Center is in building across parking lot. No cost, and key to access is located in the home.
- Guests returning to Sugar Nest may receive a discount of 10% to the room rent, not to be stacked with additional discounts to the rent.
- Check In is after 4pm. Check Out is by 10am.

Great condo

Great location, comfortable living room, had everything we needed to cook, plenty of towels, even offered mini shampoo, conditioner, and soaps. We were happy with our stay. Also, theres a fantastic coffee shop close by Fred & Larry’s!

Perfectly Convenient

Super Cozy Long Weekend Stay

We stayed at Skyleaf D12 for a long weekend friend stay. This property was well equipped for the time we stayed with common cooking utensils, comfortable-enough furniture, and a small selection of books and movies to choose from. Arrival and check-in was smooth with easy access and ample parking for the condo size. The property was easy to find - locatable with GPS and well-labeled. We had an issue with the fireplace but Vacasa maintenance responded timely (next day since our arrival was later in the evening, but they offered to come that night). They fixed the issue and showed us how to use it without being condescending (THANK YOU, Vacasa!!). It was user error :-) We will definitely visit again. This location was perfect.

Horrible experience

North Carolina was in a state of emergency due to a hurricane and the Governor told everyone to stay home. We couldn’t change our reservation!

Nice spot but VRBO spoiled it

We checked in and it was unseasonably warm. I tried reaching out and was informed the unit didn’t have AC but the heat was on (in July) showing it was 81 inside. Management sent someone over the next day but didn’t fix the issue. I did find some old food next to the bed (chips and candy on the floor). I have been trying to reach out to VRBO for 2.5 weeks now as I wanted to share our experience yet was told “the workload is very heavy and I’ll be responded to when they’re free” and that was 11 days ago.
