INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

We had a wonderful time and our condo was very nice but the balcony was terrific. The beds were very comfortable. The condo needs to fix the ice maker. Bag of ice was a little pricey. We would stay there again.

Memorial Day Stay

Condo is well appointed, great location, easy check in/out. Pool is small with limited seating. Beach service is available. Balcony is amazing, as large as the living room! Overall great stay!

Fall Family Vacay 2022

The condo was very nice and spacious. Perfect for the 7 of us. Location was great. Check in and out was extremely easy. I gave three stars on cleanliness because the floors were swept but didn't appear to have been mopped. Overall we had a great time and would like to stay here again.

Loved the covered space.

Family vacation

My family stayed in this condo to celebrate my birthday and just to get away from life. The condo was excellent and was fully supplied with everything we needed and more. The owner was great!!!!! the only thing that was wrong with the property was that the inside pool wasn't heated, but besides that everything was great!!!!!

Fantastic!

This condo was Fantastic from the time we walked thru the door. The unit was exactly, if not better than advertised. The kitchen was very well stocked. The deck was so large. We spend every morning there having coffee and looking for dolphins and pelicans. It’s conveniently located to shopping and restaurants. Can’t wait to come back.

Definitely rent condo again. Very clean! Nicely furnished, comfortable beds. Not lacking anything. Great having ice maker on fridge. Loved the huge, nicely furnished balcony. No complaints at all. Thanks to the owners for sharing your condo.

Spacious condo in a great location!

Condo was beautiful, beds were comfortable. The balcony was the real bonus. It was huge and we spent most of our time out there. Kitchen had everything we needed. Two coffee makers (keurig and drip). The beach chair and umbrella service is nice, but you only get 2 chairs and 1 umbrella per day. Reserve them right away to get the location you prefer. They open at at 9 am and there will be a line. You can reserve the same location for your whole stay. We hade 4 adults so it would cost an extra $45 a day for additional chairs. Luckily the owners had 4 beach chairs that we were able to take down to beach everyday, but they ruined our clothes while carrying them (they had old dirty salt water in the legs). There was a toy box on the balcony full of inflatables, buckets, shovels and boards so we did not have to buy any. Bring flash lights for crab hunting at the beach at night! They also had a high chair and pack and play which was thoughtful. Washer and dryer nice. The parking garage is a plus, but tight. We had a Yukon and had just enough space to park in assigned spot (nice not to have to search for a spot!). A very large (wide) truck park next to us and we could not get into our vehicle. I'm sure he had difficulty making the turns going up in the garage also, as it is narrow. Don't bring oversized vehicles such as dual axle. Location was mostly traffick free, but close to all the restaurants and attractions. We loved this place and will definitely come back

Great stay but a few items need to be addressed.

Our only issue was that when we got there at check in (4:30pm) after a 9 hour drive our condo wasn't even close to being cleaned. Idk if you were short staffed or what but it was after 7 pm before the cleaning lady left. And that's with us making our own beds and delivering towels and toilet paper to everyone's rooms just so she could leave. After a 9 hour drive we would've like to come in to a clean, empty place. It wasnt the cleaning lady's fault but it was a big job for one person to do while a group of people who just wanted to relax stood around waiting. The sliding door handle was broken when we arrived a serious hazard that needs to be repaired and a stool to the table was also broken and not usable. Other than that it was a great stay

Amazing balcony

Amazing balcony and view. This condo was great for what I was looking for. Love outdoor living and this condo allowed us to make the best of the outdoor living on the beach! A few little trouble spots with plumbing (draining) and not being able to make contact with any maintenance. But would never stop me from staying here again! I loved this condo and hope to book my next stay in PCB at this very condo.

Beautiful condo, great location

Condo 506 is location on the 5th floor close to the elevator with a reserved parking spot on the 3rd floor. The condo was beautifully decorated and clean. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. The balcony was HUGE with a beautiful view of the gulf. My family of 6 just left and it was perfect. My 87 year old grandmother needs handicapped accessibility rooms. The step out to the balcony had a taller than normal threshold but she did not have any issues. The beds sit a little higher than she is used to but the room can equipped with 2 step stools which came in handy. The pictures do not show the true size of this condo. It’s very roomy. Everyone had enough room to spread out and relax. Panhandle getaways even assisted in helping us find a beach wheelchair rental, which was amazing!! Would definitely stay here again!!! Highly recommend!!!

Very nice property

We celebrated my mother's 70th birthday here and it was perfect for us. There were three couples all over the age of 40. One member of our party is handicap and the property was perfect for him with the exception of the high threshold going out onto the balcony. There is great access to the beach. The only con I had was that the condo was not clean when we arrived and when the cleaning person got there we ended up helping her make all the beds and clean for a couple of hours. The unit could use a good deep cleaning. Your feet will turn black walking barefoot on them. The chairs around the table need to be replaced, half of them are unsafe to sit in. Also, this unit has a Nest thermostat and when we turned it down to cool the unit someone would remotely turn it back up to 72 degrees. We assume the owner was controlling it remotely, which was annoying and we were never able to cool the unit like we wanted. We enjoyed the large balcony and each room had a nice tv and their own large bathroom. The upgrades they have done are nice.

Great vacation!

The place was more beautiful in person, perfect place on the beach, on the quieter end, which was perfect for us. The condo was big, although in the pictures it doesn’t look as roomy but everyone had their own privacy and own restroom. They have everything you will need throughout your vacation and the balcony and view is amazing! I would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay

This was our third time staying at tropic winds. We absolutely love it. We had a couple small hiccups that weren't a huge deal just a little inconvenient. Our a/c froze up one day and when I called for maintenance, it was fixed within a few hours. Also, there was a water line break which caused a day and a half of no outside shower access by the beach and no restrooms by the pool, but I realize that was of no fault to the condo complex.

Had a great time! The property was very well furnished and updated.

Unfortunately the ice maker never worked. We called maintenance several times before someone came, but didn’t fix it. As a suggestion, we could have used a chain lock inside the front door. A better explanation of the parking across the street would help.

Luxury all the way!

This is the third year in a row that I have rented at Tropic Winds and this unit was by far the best. Every detail was perfect. We especially loved having luxury linens and plenty of them. We don't like to go out to eat when we are at the beach so the fully stocked kitchen was wonderful. The only disappointment was that we could not rent an extra set of chairs and umbrella. However, there were extra chairs in the unit that we could use. We will be back!

Horrible Very Dirty

The Lobby smelled of sewer, The Condos were very out dated and dingy, They offered us a different Condo we looked at 10 others,They were all very bad shape! so we just ended our Vacation and headed home!

Perfect size, great location, well maintained condo.

Tropic Winds Unit # 506 was the perfect condo for our family vacation to PCB. This unit is 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom, with large rooms which are all perfectly separated so you still have plenty of privacy from the rest of the rooms. We traveled with 6 adults and 1 child and couldn't have asked for a better condo or a better experience. The balcony on this condo is AMAZING and we spent every morning and evert evening on the balcony relaxing. The furniture inside and outside is very good quality and the unit has been very well maintained. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you'd need. This unit was great for us and I highly recommend it. The only negative I saw with the resort as a whole is the pool - it's very "dated" and extremely small compared to many other places I have stayed, but we had no intentions of visiting the pool since we went to enjoy the ocean and the beach so it was not a problem for us whatsoever. If you're someone who enjoys to lounge poolside while you're on vacation, I highly recommend looking at the pictures of the pool at Tropic Winds. It does NOT live up to the experience we had with the condo unit itself. Overall, Tropic Winds was perfect for us! Definitely would recommend others to stay in this unit.
