Maridadi Clifftop Oceanfront - Beautiful Outdoor Terrace, Solar & Tesla Storage

Maridadi Clifftop is perched atop Boatman Point with sweeping, south-facing views located under a 10-minute drive (2 miles) from Cruz Bay. “Maridadi” means beautiful and charming in Swahili- a name we believe perfectly suits the simple elegance of our home. Upon parking in the parking area behind the Maridadi stonewall entrance column, walk to the entrance of the driveway, walk down the driveway to a gently sloping stone staircase surrounded by lush tropical vegetation, including banana, key lime, and starfruit trees, leads to an open and private terrace overlooking the Caribbean Ocean with an expansive vista of St Croix (40 miles away). The terrace has an outdoor kitchen, all necessary kitchen and dining wear, sink, propane barbecue, dining table & four chairs, a cantilevered aluminum umbrella, and two lounge chairs. The terrace provides a quiet, blissful area where waves roar a hundred feet below.

Upon entering the unit that makes up Maridadi Clifftop, double sliding glass doors give way to a modern, air-conditioned bedroom with a king-size Westin Heavenly Bed by Beauty Rest, smart TV, ceiling fan, his and hers night tables, and a walk-in closet. In addition, the room offers a quaint living area that is partitioned from the bedroom with a new comfortable sofa, table, and dresser- all located in front of a large window with an unobstructed view of the Caribbean Ocean. Two sizeable wooden mahogany sliding doors open to a spacious full bathroom with a glass door shower. Many of our guests often exclaim that waking up at Maridadi Clifftop feels like waking up on a boat due to the elevated, expansive ocean view and dramatic setting atop the crashing waves.

Maridadi Clifftop is located in the residential neighborhood of Boatman Point. Boatman Point is very quiet and has underground utilities, a private roadway, and a rocky beach at the end of Monte Road where you can snorkel and lounge that can be accessed via a staircase ¼ mile from Maridadi Clifftop. The neighborhood is extremely safe and is frequented by runners and walkers due to the road vistas and lack of vehicle traffic.

It’s the perfect choice for couples looking to unwind and relax in luxury while enjoying St. John and all it offers. Maridadi Clifftop is the downstairs unit of a single-family residence where we live on premises on the top floor. Maridadi Clifftop's incredible privacy makes it unique, as it has a separate entrance and stairway. We are a family of three that is very quiet and relaxed! We moved to St. John over a decade ago to enjoy its nature, laid-back lifestyle, and incredible beauty. Maridadi Clifftop is the perfect launchpad to explore what “Love City” offers.
