We had a wonderful long weekend at this lakeside home. The setting is delightful and very peaceful - perfect for a family celebration. The home itself is quite nice - an upscale rental with all of the requisite amenities, including a well-stocked kitchen. On a final note, the owners were very responsive.

Excellent property - great hosts!

My family and I truly enjoyed everything that Pigeon Cove had to offer. The house and property were immaculate, and the hosts were responsive with every question and request. LOTS of activities and fun toys (kayaks, paddle boats, hot tub) for all ages. If you're visiting Lake Anna, I highly recommend this location.

First time get away

We had a good time! The property manager handled all of our small issues immediately! The only major issue would be the need to dust and cleaning of insects and spider webs! Location was perfect nicely hidden We are looking to do this againb

Can't wait to come back!

Our stay at Pigeon Cove was wonderful! The house was stunning and clean, with views of the lake from every bedroom! Situated on a small cove just off the main lake and across the lake from the State Park afforded a peaceful quiet and beautiful views. The patio, fire pit, and hot tub were such a nice bonus! The house was minutes from a grocery store, restaurants, and breweries. The hosts were quick to answer my questions and helpful with any inquiry. I couldn’t have asked for anything more!

Wonderful first visit to Lake Anna

This house is a gem. The owners clearly care about their guests. They have put a lot of effort into details to make their guests comfortable. We made use of the yoga mats, the kayaks, the paddle boat, the table tennis set up, everything. The house is really spacious and amazingly beautiful. The great big deck is awesome to spend time on. Owners were very responsive and accommodating. Can't say enough good things about this place, you'll be lucky if you get to stay here!

We stayed at Pigeon Cove Hideaway for an extended work retreat. Everyone had a great time. The house was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. For those that didn’t want to face the 90 temperatures outside, there were inside activities from shuffleboard to a pool table/ping-pong table. The patio and house deck provided lots of space to relax and enjoy time outside. We would have loved to use the firepit and hot tub, but with the high temps outside, no one took advantage! The boathouse, dock, and sandy beach were stunning. The boathouse even had a bar area. Wow! Everyone enjoyed floating off the dock, sunning, or sitting under the upstairs covered section, relaxing and taking in the views. Don’t miss watching the sunset from the upper deck of the boathouse! It was a great retreat.

Exceptional Experience

We had an exceptional stay at Pigeon Cove Hideaway. Some of the highlights we experienced:* The boathouse! Wow! What a view. This is truly the most unique feature of this VRBO. Our whole group spent our entire Sunday out there enjoying the view and the water access. The overhead fans add a comfortable breeze for lounging up on that superb second floor viewing deck. There are plenty of seating options at the boathouse including loungers, Adirondacks, a high top dining table for 8, and two fun wicker swing chairs. This VRBO provides kayaks, floater rafts, pool noodles, life preservers (for humans AND dogs!), and water toys for all to stay entertained. The first floor TV and bar are a nice touch, as is the separate WIFI out there to remain connected. * The fully fenced in side yard was spacious and our dogs loved running around to sniff the new space. What a relief it is to not have to leash up the dogs to take them out each time.* We set up a couple of (our own) additional camp chairs in the living room to accommodate more seating for our group. * Parking spaces were plentiful and we had no issues getting in and out. * The lake views all around the house were gorgeous* The host is easy to talk to and is quick to respond

A Little Piece of Heaven

We loved this house. It's down a long road with trees and feels like you are transported to a lush forest. The house is lovely. There are several places to hang out - kitchen/dining room, screen porch, wrap-around deck, area by firepit and jacuzzi - and of course, the boat dock!! We spent hours on the dock - swimming, floating, boating. The owners have graciously made available a two-person kayak, a paddle boat, and swim floats. We brought our boat and tied up at the dock - very easy to launch at the nearby state park. The house is better stocked than other houses we have stayed at - paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, towels, condiments and snacks. This place is definitely a winner!!
