The master bathroom has been customized to reflect the soothing colors of the sea and the bedroom enjoys a spacious king-sized bed and direct Gulf views. The guest bedroom has two twins and an ensuite bathroom. The master and living room are both complete with flat screen TV's and Wi-Fi is complimentary. No detail has been overlooked in this condo. Renters/Guests agrees to Turn Off balcony lights before 9:00 p.m. and to close the drapes or window treatments of all windows facing the Gulf to minimize the projection of interior lights as any such lights may disorient an adult or newly hatched Sea Turtle. Renters/Guests understands that the Turtles are endangered and protected by Federal Law. Substantial fines can be levied against them by law enforcement for violations of ordinances protecting Turtles. Renter agrees to reimburse Owner for payment of the Fines imposed for violations during Lessee's occupancy and for the reasonable legal defense costs incurred."

Great spot and enjoyed the stay. One improvement suggestion is to clearly mention in welcome packet about the locker with umbrellas and chairs - we didnt realize there was a locker until midweek and purchased chairs and an umbrella.Also was just two rolls of TP so bought more - would be good to have some extra rolls so renters don’t have to purchase All good though and nice place.

Thank you for your review and feedback. As our rentals are privately owned self-catering properties, there is a starter kit provided at the property, but guests are required to purchase additional supplies needed for their stay.

I don’t think it’s appropriate for the leasing agent to be unavailable on check-in day (closed at 4pm). They left our keys in the lockbox under the wrong name, which caused us considerable time to resolve.

It's unfortunate that a mistake was made with placing the wrong name on your arrival envelope. You placed a last minute booking and the name didn't update on our arrival sheet. Sea Winds Sunshine

Overall good. Kitchen should be upgraded with glasses and additional baking supplies. Furnace needs new filter and cover.TV service was sporadic at times.

Beautiful View but Outdated Amenities

This unit has a beautiful gulf view, updated kitchen & restrooms, however; mattresses are horrible, my wife and I could not even use the Master Bedroom it’s so bad, mattresses in guest room just as bad. Sadly, other reviews claim the same, no action taken. The building is old, elevators are old, and security keys for building/pool/beach are ancient and outdated.

The condo itself is in a great location and the view is wonderful. Pool was great and beach access. The unit was a bit small but for only 2 people it was ok. Communication with Vacations on Marco was horrendous. I would send a message with 4 questions and they’d answer 1. They never checked to see if everything was good and never told us about the closet down the hall filled with beach equipment, even after I asked if there were beach chairs on the beach to rent. I would definitely stay at Sea Winds again but at a unit with another host.

Hi LeAnn.......we are so happy you enjoyed the property! The questions you asked via VRBO and this venue were answered. Your questions referenced items provided and those you needed to purchase. You were told that all units are Self-Catored units, unlike hotels. The terms and conditions you signed have answers to all those questions as well. It's unfortunate you didn't call our office directly to speak to us after you placed your booking. Again..........we are thrilled that you enjoyed the unit!!

more pros than cons

overall, our stay was fair.....The fire alarms went off 5 times...one time was at 5 am. The unit had a foul odor the entire stay and the master bedroom mattress was HORRIBLE. We did see a few bugs during our stay. The updates the owner did on the kitchen and bathroom were very, very nice.

Love Marco Island!

7/24 This was our fourth stay at the Sea Winds. We love the location and the neighborhood. This year we were in apartment 703. It was clean; the kitchen has everything four people need- good quality of pots and pans although we do not cook a lot in Marco Island because of the excellent restaurants. My only complain is that the apartment didn't have a beach cart . It's tough to carry umbrellas, chairs, and cooler to the beach with kids and/or being in our 70's. We did enjoy our stay, and the view and the weather were perfect!

Perfect vacation

A super property, so much so that I rented it again for my vacation next year, a super nice view, the room in perfect condition, with everything you need. The only thing I leave as a recommendation is that the internet is lousy, I think they should do something to improve it and with the issue of elevators that the day one of the elevators was broken and I lost 3 hours of enjoying and the day I left like the elevator again broken.

Great view

The view from the living and master bedroom were great. Could even see the beach and ocean from the shower! We love Marco Island and the location of the condo. Items that need addressed: master bedframe needs replaced (first time laying on it the feet holding the bed fell and some missing), hard food dried on the silverware and dishes, and saw five bugs (I think cockroaches) throughout stay (even though they were supposedly there during stay to spray). Was nice to have a washer and dryer in unit.

Hi Terri! Thanks for the review. Regarding the bed; as soon as you called we told the Owner and as you know, we sent the handyman out to fix it. The food....no excuses! We will contact the cleaner with this. If the unit was sprayed during your stay, the bugs show up en mass as they are trying to escape the bug spray. It's Palmetto time of year. Great location

Overall this was a very nice condo and location. It has been remodeled and kitchen is especially nice. They could have been a little more attentive to details...just an example, the drawers on bathroom vanity do not open because they hit the doorway trim. It says sleeps 6 but space was pretty tight with our family of 5. The view is great though and on the beach in minutes. We loved being next to the Sunset Grille in the Apollo for food and cocktails. One issue not specific to condo but building itself was that we had no water for 24 hours. Not really their fault, but still annoying when paying a pretty high nightly price and being on vacation. They also did a water testing in the middle of the day which caused water to spray off balconies over the entire pool area while it was full of guests getting sun.

Great stay on Marco

This is a very nice condo right on the beach. The only issue I had is that a couple mornings people were out on the concrete patio talking and they were very loud and sounded almost like they were in the condo. Luckily they just did that a couple mornings.

Exactly as the pictures show. Comfortable & Clean.

Love the location! Love the unit! Very clean! I highly recommend! The Sunset Bar and Grill right next door is a Huge plus! Favorite restaurant is Marco Prime! Great hangout area there after dinner. We fell in love with Marco Island 10 years ago and are looking to buy our own home there. Always feels like Home there.
