Lovely & Relaxing Ocean Front Villa in Puerto Rico

This Beachfront Villa is located within the premises of the Wyndham Rio Mar Beach Resort gated community with access to all amenities including a full service spa, 11 restaurants, two 18-hole golf courses, 13 har-tru courts operated by Peter Burwash International, bicycle trails, plenty of water sports, hiking, casino, live entertainment, beauty salon, business center, concierge, and shopping boutiques. The grounds have beautiful, lush, tropical gardens.


Covid and the governments response has created limitation on participation and some of the amenities available in Puerto Rico. This situation is very fluid and is changing almost daily. Please keep this Situation in mind when planning a vacation to Puerto Rico.

If you like golf, just take any Wyndham Rio Mar Resort's shuttle and you will be in less than five minutes in the Golf Club House where you may play at Greg Norman's 6945-yard River Course and Tom and George Fazio's 6487-yard Ocean Course with its famous oceanfront 16th hole.

Our 1,091 sq. ft. one bedroom beachfront villa, which was originally built and operated by the Hotel as a VIP Beachfront Suite, accommodates up to six guests and is just steps away from the beach. It has a master bedroom, one bathroom, a spacious living area with an integrated fully equipped kitchen, a dining table and two beachfront balconies, one outside the living area and the other outside the master room. Both balconies, with views of the ocean and the pools, have tables and chairs for outside dining, reading and relaxation. The master room has 2 queen size beds and the living area has 2 sofa beds, one queen one full. This quiet and relaxing villa was recently remodeled with new furniture, has complimentary WiFi and comes with bed and bath linens and washer and dryer machines.

The property is equipped with two air conditioning units, one in the master room and the other in the living room. Also it has microwave oven, refrigerator / freezer, stove/oven, water heater, toaster, toaster oven, coffee maker, 2 flat panel TVā€™s with Liberty cable service, and two DVD players. Also it has one assigned parking space with beeper access.

The exclusive refuge where this villa is located offers, an infinity pool overlooking the ocean, a swimming / lap pool, a kids/infant pool and a heated tub all visible from the balconies. The lush green lawns and landscaping are professionally maintained. The beach is literally steps away and the Wyndham Rio Mar Beach Hotel, at about 75 meters from the villa, is just a short walk away.

Nearby attractions and activities include the Fajardo ferry boat to the Islands of Vieques and Culebra, the Rio Grande El Yunque National Rainforest with itā€™s majectic waterfalls, the bioluminiscent lagoon of Fajardo, the scenic and historic Old San Juan, a Belz Outlet Shopping Mall in Canovanas and horseback riding, canopy zipline, mountain biking and ATV riding in Carbali, Rio Grande.

We really enjoyed our stay here with 3 young kids. It was a great place to unwind and have fun with the kids at the pools and beach. Also a great location to visit El Yunque. Would definitely book this place again!

The location is amazing! House was clean and had everything we needed. We were able to use the hotel, but might be because of the time of year. Hotel didn't seem too busy.

Perfect location. 1st floor condo made going to and from the room from the pool easy. Be aware it is not ground floor..you do have steps. Loved our stay! The pool and grounds were very well maintained.

We've stayed in a lot of VRBOs in many beautiful locations. This one is the nicest. The proximity to a beautiful pool set up and gorgeous, isolated beach, combined with a clean, well-appointed unit make this perfection!

Comfortable, great view, great location

This is a very comfortable unit in an amazing location. Great views of the pool and ocean, convenient to take advantage of some of the amenities of the adjoining resort. A short drive to tourist activities in the area.

Excellent villa

We found this condo to be super clean and nicely arranged. The beds were super comfortable given they have a foam add on that really helped with the comfort. I highly recommend this ocean villa.

Great Ocean View!!

This condo is located in a beautiful complex of Wyndham Resorts in Rio Grande, PR. It is located by the pools and the beach. The views from the patios are awesome. The condo is quiet and clean. This is a great location for enjoying the beach. The view from the condo is gorgeous!

We enjoyed staying here and would do so again. After more than 25 trips to the Caribbean, this place stands out. The condo is clean and well laid out, the beach is beautiful, and you feel like you're ON the beach when you're on the balcony of the condo. It's nice and quiet, yet you have access to the busier hotel next door for eating if you want. We LOVE all the palm trees right on the beach for shade and beauty.

Excellent place to stay.

This is such a fantastic property! By the pools, easy access to the beach and right by the parking spot. All new kitchen wares and appliances! Enough toilet paper for the week and coffee for the first day. We loved our stay and canā€™t wait to go back!!! An absolutely perfect location on the property and in Rio Grande.

The best location and most gracious host!!

Euniz is incredibly kind and always quick to respond with whatever you need. The property is in an amazing location, convenient to everything and so very relaxing. I cant say enough about how kind and gracious and accommodating our host was. It made our stay that much more relaxing. Will be staying and again and do recommend for families, couples or anyone wanting to get away.

Amazing location and view

This condo is the best of all worlds -- it's a great location on the island and a perfect launching point for excursions to Flamenco Beach, the rain forest, and the bio bay. It's also very convenient to be located on the Wyndham complex within walking distance of great restaurants and To Go options. The view isn't photoshopped at all--such a gorgeous landscape. The property owner was super helpful and very responsive. Highly recommend!

Private getaway

Our family of four stayed for 5 days. There was plenty of space in this one bedroom. We had two balconies with a gorgeous few of the ocean. We had all we needed in the unit. The grounds were beautifully kept. The pool area was perfect! No getting up early to find chairs. The beach was private, no crowds. We were able to grab a coffee at the Wyndham next door, or food at any of the 5 restaurants. We had a relaxing and peaceful vacation.

Beautiful view.

Great location, right by the pool and access to the beach. The place was nice and cozy. The only complain I have , was the cleanliness of the extra sheets that were in a drawer. We were unable to use them, due to the smell, they smelled horrible and had holes in them. I know they were not washed before my arrival. Other than that, great location.

Superb!

This is the second time we have stayed in this Villa. It is truly ocean front, I walk barefoot from room to beach. Villa is comfortable; two queen beds, nice living area (never used dining table as we ate on balcony for our meals), kitchen is nicely furnished, there are two pools, a baby pool and whirlpool available for Villa guests. Wyndham Grand Rio Mar facility is a short walk away. We plan on going back again in the future. Thank you for a wonderful 13 day stay in beautiful Puerto Rico.

Amazing Trip!

We had a fabulous trip to Puerto Rico! The unit is right on the ocean with fantastic views! The property manager was awesome! We got in really late after the store closed so she ensured we had a few snacks and water in the unit when we arrived and she checked in with us to make sure we arrived safely! The unit had pool toys, beach chairs which came in handy when hanging out on the beach! The main resort is just a short walk and can use the amenities there, which is great, although we stayed on our side, the majority of the trip because it was perfect. We would absolutely stay here again! Thank you so much for hosting our family!

Amazing views, great place to stay

We had a wonderful time in Puerto Rico, and this villa and its location were perfect. For our family of 3 (two adults, one 5 year old), the villa was exactly what we wanted. (And could easily accommodate a few more people, too.) Clean, well prepared by Euniz, and she always responded within minutes if we had a question or need while staying there. The location is great: within the Wyndham resort property so numerous restaurants were within 5 min walk. The pools and beach are literally right outside the condo and were beautiful. We also ate at Don Pepe's just a couple minutes drive away, as well as at one of the places within the rainforest (which again, was just a few min drive away). All good food! We just can't say enough good things about our stay. It was wonderful! If we ever get back to Puerto Rico, (and hopefully we will), we would definitely stay here again.

Tropical Paradise

This property was just perfect and as described. There were two balconies with picture perfect view of the beautiful grounds landscaping pools and hot tub and the palm trees, beautiful beach and turquoise waters. It was absolutely perfect. The living areas were perfectly sized and comfortable. lots of supplies to enjoy the pools and beach! The convenience of the location to drive to the Marina for excursions out of Ceiba was about 15 - 20 minutes and the to Old San Juan was about 20-25 minutes. Very conveniently located and it is a gated area so it felt very safe. There are many great restaurants close by and the drive to El Yunque was about 10-15 minutes, just a perfect location. combined with the perfect weather it was a perfect stay! Seemed very private and we had an assigned parking space close by so never had to worry about parking. We would definitely come back again to this property as it was perfectly maintained and so enjoyable.

A view of Paradise!

We had a wonderful time the week of Feb 10-17. The apartment was clean and well-stocked with kitchen items, beach towels, bath towels, etc. It was great to have a kitchen, coffee machine, washer and dryer. Our first day, we went to nearby Famcoop and stocked up on groceries. Although we had very high winds during our stay, we enjoyed the pools, walking on the beach, and eating outdoors at the restaurants at Wyndham next door (an easy walk). The view from the balcony was outstanding -- we spent many hours in one of the two balconies enjoying the warm breeze and taking in the turquoise water. We had a few issues come up (like someone parking in our space, etc) and Euniz was VERY responsive and made sure all our questions were answers and needs were met. Would LOVE to stay again!

Great 10 year anniversary

This was our first time to Puerto Rico and we had a great time. The villa is in a great location. Only about 35 minutes from San Juan. You will definitely want to rent a car because there is a lot to explore in this area. The property is lovely. Great pools and beach. Beach chairs are available for lounging out on the beach and plenty of chair and tables by the pool. It is nice having access to the hotel next door for a meal if you don't want to cook or go out. The villa has everything you need. Plenty of space for a couple and having the balconies was awesome. The only thing that could use improvement is that it could use a deep clean and a new coat of paint. Neither of these would keep me from going back though. We will definitely be returning!
