Immaculate cottage in Belmont, Mt Holly! Radiant Heat keeps you cozy warm in winter- One bedroom with queen bed , Loft sleep area with 2 twin beds (accessible by ladder only which is not suitable for small children under 8) .
Living Room has queen pullout sofa.

Well appointed Livingroom with wood burning stove, full kitchen with table for 4 plus 2 barstools. Ceiling fans.

Fully equipped Kitchen with oven, microwave, dishwasher.
Bathroom with washer and dryer. Shower only.
Relax on the front porch or outside by the fire pit next to the babbling brook.
Enjoy the views of the fields, cross country ski , snowshoe , sled on the property! Walk to Star Lake and the Belmont Green.

It was a great house for our family of 5. The kids enjoyed playing outside and then coming inside to sit by my the wood-burning stove and playing board games. It is located on a beautiful property in a picturesque Vermont town.

Ski weekend

We had a great stay at the cottage! It’s a short (about 15min) to Okemo, and we also enjoyed visiting the nearby country store in Weston. Wendy was very responsive to any questions we had or needs that came up during our stay. A perfect get-away for our family of 4!

Lovely cottage near Okemo

The cottage was clean and well appointed. It had all the amenities we needed and more. Conveniently located 15 minutes from the Jackson Gore lot of Okemo. The owner was very responsive.

Cozy Cottage 10 minute from Okemo

The cottage was perfect for our family of 4. My kids (11 & 12) loved the loft space. The kitchen and bathroom were update and clean. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Wonderful weekend

I have stayed at The Cottage twice with my 13 year old daughter and have enjoyed our visits very much. The house is very clean, indeed immaculate, just as the listing describes. The Cottage is charming, well equipped with everything we would need, and it is located in a lovely, peaceful area. It is a short drive to Jackson Gore, which was excellent as we had come to the area to ski. Wendy is a wonderful host. I would highly recommend The Cottage. 5 stars

Ski getaway

I gave this 5 stars because it was immaculate, well stocked and conveniently located. It is not, however, quite right for a family to stay for skiing. There is no where to put your stuff to dry, etc., and owner was adamant about no shoes, equipment on the floors. If this place had a mudroom it would be perfect.

Great property!

This was my second time at this cottage in 2022. The property is so peaceful and yet close to Ludlow for taking a scenic ride to the top of the mountain. We enjoyed a cider fest and local brewery. My stay here this Fall with my friends was as good as my Winter stay with my family. Love this property! The host is very responsive.

Excellent ski weekend

Extremely well appointed cottage that made for a great ski weekend. We had an issue with the shower head and the property owner quickly called us to make sure it didn’t impact our stay. Would definitely book again!

Peaceful Cottage

A wonderful extended weekend at this cottage in the mountains. We rented as part of a ski trip to Okemo, about 15 minutes away. This was a perfect fit for me, the wife and two teens. The teens fit nicely up in the loft. The cottage is fairly new and well maintained. It sits just off a quiet mountain road with the owners large barn and main house beyond. The interior of the cottage is very cozy and heats up very well with the wood stove. The owner provides ample fire wood. There is a general store not far, but we brought what we needed to avoid having to drive out in the snowy mountain roads too frequently. This also looks like it would be a wonderful place to go in the summer for a quiet get away. Highly recommended for anyone looking for some peace in the mountains.

Coziest Cottage Close to Okemo!

We had the best ski weekend getaway at Wendy's adorable cottage! The cottage was very clean upon arrival, the kitchen was well-stocked with pots/pans/utensils to cook meals for several nights, we were so just so comfortable. Despite the temperatures outside being well below zero the weekend we were there, the cottage was so cozy and warm with its heated floors and the wood stove in the family room (complete with plenty of firewood right outside for our use). Our 9-year old son loved the ladder up to the loft! Beds and furniture were very comfortable, modern and clean. It was easy to use the Smart TV using our own accounts for Netflix, Hulu, etc. Okemo is an easy 10-15 minute drive away. We will definitely be back next winter!

Very comfortable, clean cottage. Took a trip to Okemo w/ our two college age boys. Perfect location & size to make it a great trip. Even had awesome Wifi .

winter vaction

Our favorite parts: the property is beautiful and the weather allowed us to have a bonfire next to the babbling brook; fireworks over the lake for New Years Eve, a short walk up the road; the convenience of the general store up the hill and quick access to Okemo to ski. Perfect location. House is toasty warm, and cozy. A little tight for my 3 adult children and my husband and I, but we made it work. Plenty of time together for movies, games and relaxing.

Perfect cottage for skiing at Okemo

The three of us stayed at Wendy’s cottage to ski at Okemo. Everything was clean and well organized for our arrival, and the cottage is perfectly designed for relaxing after a hard day of skiing. The wood-burning stove makes the whole place toasty warm, and the kitchen is perfect for making a group meal. We had a full moon while we were there and the snow-covered fields around the cottage were beautiful in the moonlight. We didn’t need much while we were there but Wendy was easy to reach with any questions. It’s about a 15min drive to the Jackson-Gore base at Okemo. I would definitely stay here to ski again.

Lovely cottage

Perfect location for our family of 4 while skiing at Okemo and an easy 15 minutes away from Jackson Gore base. Kids loved playing in the snow and we enjoyed the outdoor fire pit in the evenings. Beautiful property. Wendy was wonderful and very responsive with communication. PS - Agree that the ladder is for older kids (my youngest is 10 and he was fine with it).

Very clean, comfortable cottage close to ski mountain

Lovely stay at newer cottage on large farm property, close to general store, meat farm, skiing. Wood stove, bunk room for older kids, all kitchen amenities. Easy communication with owner. Would definitely stay again.

Terrific, well equipped cottage

Stayed with a family of 4 (2 adults, one high school and one college kid) the week of Christmas. We had a terrific stay. The house is nicely furnished and well equipped; given that everyone is cooking in these days, that was important to us. It has a nice wood stove and a roomy and comfortable living area. Good fit for a family of 4 with teens or older kids as they can safely navigate the loft. Short drive to Okemo.
