Excellent vacation shortened by a hurricane.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was just what we were hoping for. Nice 3 bed 2 bath with a backyard pool. Perfect for our families needs. If you are looking to stay here I recommend renting a couple of bikes to ride back and forth to the public beach that is a short ride away. We also rented a golf cart for the week for riding into Seaside during the evening. I will definitely be looking to stay here again.

Stayed in May 2026. Property was great and walkable to the beach. Downside were really personal preference like no door for master bathroom. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Great for the money. Close to beach. Large living area. Only drawback was pool and pool area difficult to keep clean due to the surrounding trees and landscaping.

The balcony in the back is great for relaxing and still has a perfect view of the pool. The kids really enjoyed this location! We could walk to the beach in 5-7 minutes. Golf cart rentals are easy to come by and a great idea for this location as parking along the highway is limited. There is a food truck court about 5 minute drive up the road and we really enjoyed visiting there as well.

Overall nice property

Overall the property was nice, needed more basic kitchen essentials like pots and pans. Outside of that we would stay again.

We stayed at this house last year, and just like this year, it was fantastic. We hope to be able to come back next year. The house is always clean,and the neighborhood very quiet and located close to the beach. The only thing I would recommend is getting pots and pans for the kitchen to cook in. We had to end up buying a set for cooking.

Canceled on us because the air conditioner broke

Canceled our rental the day before as we were driving down. Refund has been a struggle

We're really sorry for this major inconvenience. Florida weather is a strain on air conditioner systems and an unplanned failure and vendor delays in replacing the unit were unavoidable. Your account has been fully refunded.

Hot and dirty

The unit did not have working air conditioning. The rugs were filthy. Master bathroom had particles in the toilet. On day two, two me were attempting to enter the unit. We found out that they were working who had been given a code. The workers said that they were not aware that there were guests on the property and no one had contacted them to reschedule.

Good and not so good

The good… The layout of the home is nice with lots of open area for conversation. The pool is nice and private. The beds are overall comfortable. There were ample and nice towels.The not so good… While it is about a block walk to the beach, most of the beach in the area is private and signs are up very early in the morning and people are patrolling. It shooting you away from the beach. There is one stretch of private beach about 50 yards away. That becomes very crowded very early in the day. This is the case pretty much all along 30 a. We had to get up at 6 AM to save a spot near the shore. The kitchen in the home has minimal cooking supplies. I felt a little like camping, but we figured it out! we had to keep re-washing plates and cups to have them for the next meal.

Comfort items missing

All three bedrooms had bed linens that were paper thin even with the air not on. We all shivered each night and there were no blankets additional comforters or anything to be had in the entire home.The patio furniture had cushions that were mildew and ill fitted to all of the furniture. Upon arrival, the Wi-Fi and none of the TVs worked. Being that we work remote the Wi-Fi was a necessity and we had to go work at a coffee shop for the entire first day until they could get a repair person to come out..The overall property was nice enough. The location was great and the pool was good.We have stayed in 12 other rental properties in this area of 30A and this was definitely our least favorite

I’ve stayed at this place before. That’s why I was looking forward to coming back. Obviously there were some changes. The alarms on the door. I understand the need for that, however, I could tell when we arrived that it had been taken for a while and was needing to be aired out and we were unable to do so. And it was a beautiful week so that was unfortunate. Also, I understand that this property is for sale and it’s in need of repair. There was safety hazards on the outside patio. A hose strong to the pool as a tripping hazard. The bricks stepping down also were loose and could easily break off. The rugs were dish shoveled. Could wind have caused this yes. However, knowing that we were coming, the cleaning service could’ve straightened this. None of the outside furniture had all of the cushions on them. A lot we’re missing it. The stairs going up to the overlook recovered and some type of scat and that was unfortunate. Are there wild animals guess. But they definitely could’ve been cleared. No when we did arrive, there was instant communication, they let us know that there was in fact, a coffee maker, etc. However, after that, communication stopped. Also, I’ve tried to get in communication with you guys with the difference in price. You had quoted me one price and blue swells had quoted me a different price. So that did not match. All in all, we made the most of our week there. I don’t think I’ll be working with Blue Swells again.

We had a nice stay place can use a lot of TLC to include cutting back trees you cannot see the ocean, The pool had no vacuum so acorns were all over the bottom, the brick leading to the pool is loose and a huge falling hazard, The balcony’s had one chair that was broken. Location was good and clean just in need of some repair

Great location and an easy walk to the beach. BUT the property was not very clean and the lookout tower was very hard to get to with the conditions of the wooden steps and the low hanging tree in the middle of the stairs. The kitchen cabinet nobs were loose and coming off. The pool needed to be skimmed right when we got there. It looked like the sheets were just turned inside out which was concerning.

This property has issues that were initially reported last year, on a few reviews, that are still issues today. I even messaged the host, before I booked, to ask if these issues had been resolved and I was told that they were. Fast forward to June 2026 and the unbearable smell and the hazardous bricks are still a BIG ISSUE with this property. The smell alone made us leave, less than 24hrs after checking in, along with the HORRIBLE experience we had with Blue Swell regarding these issues(due to the issues, calling for help and getting yelled at, overtalked on the phone, and then getting hung up on, we had to spend part of our vacation looking for other accommodations). If you want a house that has an unbearable smell that seems like it's penetrating your clothes and everything you own and you want to be treated like you're a bother for requesting help with it, then book this property. If none of that appeals to you and you want to enjoy your vacation, BOOK ELSEWHERE.

We love this location so much. The neighborhood is quiet. The pool was clean. The facilities were great. We had a great stay. The only thing that concerned me a bit were the loose pavers in the backyard. They never became a big problem, but I think they are a bit of a safety hazard.

This place was in such a convenient area to many shops and restaurants and so awesome having the beach just one street over! The pool was a perfect size for our group of 5! The living area was very spacious! The air conditioner was very cold thankfully! We thought this place was a great deal for the price!
