Great house, great location

First time Bahamas. House and Property felt safe and were well maintained. Pools were a great addition. Explored the Island by rental car. Had a great time and would come again. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Great villas, great people

My family (5 children, 2 adults) stayed in Villa 6 during our visit to Nassau in August 2019. Our stay was wonderful! Scott and Kent and the rest of the staff were great to work with. They were available whenever we needed them, and responded quickly to any questions we had (before, during, and after our stay). We rented a car during our stay, so that made travel around the island very easy. The Silk Cotton villas are located close to downtown (you could walk there, but the roads are narrow and sidewalks are rare). There is shuttle service available on-site, but we didn't use that. I suspect that would be a great convenience for visitors who don't have a car. The villa itself was very nice, and it had all the necessities available for eating in and being comfortable. The two pools onsite were nice - we spent quite a bit of time just sitting by the pool while the kids played. The onsite restaurant was an unexpected bonus. All the food we got from the restaurant was very good. It was very convenient on nights that we didn't feel like going out and didn't feel like cooking ourselves. From what I read online before travelling, parts of Nassau can be dangerous. However, I must say that during my stay at Silk Cotton and even travelling around the island, I never felt unsafe. Sure there are some neighborhoods that you probably want to stay away from, but use good judgment and you'll have a very fun/safe/relaxing time on the island. I did like the fact that Silk Cotton was gated and had security for that extra sense of safety while on the premises. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Silk Cotton Villas and would definitely recommend it to others that are planning on visiting Nassau. Thank you Scott, Kent, and the rest of the staff for a great vacation!

The location is very convenient to grocery stores and resturants. Two pools on the property.Comfortable rooms and a well equiped kitchen.You will need to buy coffee and filters. Our group had a great time.Communication and check in were both very good.

Large clean space which is great for unwinding

The Villa was very large with high ceilings. With 5 people in the Villa, it never felt crowded unless we were all in the kitchen. The security at the property was a nice safety measure. While we only used the restaurant for afternoon drinks, having it by the pool was a nice convenience. The staff was very friendly and very responsive to all of our questions. I would highly recommend silk cotton.

Close to beach and shopping! Anna (Taxi) was very helpful and friendly!! Always kind and helpful security at front gate. We always felt safe. Could not have been more happy. Pots and pans could use some upkeep but we made due just fine…. Will be back

40th Birthday Girls Trip

I’m a frequent traveler to the Bahamas and this was my first time staying at Silk Cotton Villa. I felt safe, it was clean and location is perfect. I was even allowed to have a 40th Birthday Dinner. I would be back for sure and will also recommend it to others.

Great Host Great Place

We really enjoyed our stay at Silk Cotton Villas. Our Host’s and employee’s couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating. The pool/restaurant area was an awesome place to hang out and relax. The onsite shuttle was very convenient and the fares were the same as a cab.

Great stay ! Beautifull spot. With nice pool Lost stars because bbq was broken and had to use the community bbq near the pool. Still this is minor and we had a lot of fun in Nassau!

We had a blast.

Scott was the epitome of class. There were seven of us. The place was a couple of blocks from the beach, and about a half hour beautiful walk over the bridge to Paradise Island. Every morning of our weeklong stay everyone always mentioned how extraordinarily comfortable the beds were to sleep in. I was surprised, and then not so surprised to find out that Scott, the owner of the development, actually manufactures the beds. He also has the plans in the works for a nice restaurant in one of the properties. I can't wait to try it out. Thank you for the great digs, Scott. From all of us.

Great location, spacious area and ease of use.

We enjoyed our stay here as the location, stay and staff were easy to work with. No complaints. Scott is accommodating and so asking ahead of time to arrange things is acceptable and welcomed. If possible look for a car rental!

Hate to leave.. Dr. W.

I had a great time here in the Bahamas. The location of the villa was perfect. The weather was fabulous. Scott my host was a very good host you make sure that I had everything I needed. There were a few minor hiccups however we passed those very quickly. In addition, if I had to come back to the Bahamas and stay at this particular location I would. The Villa was slightly pricey but I believe that it was worth the experience. The power went out for about 7 hours although that is not on the responsibility of my host it was a little irritating. Coordinating housekeeping what's a little tricky however Charmaine is a doll. Overall this experience was good much better than being in a hotel once we got past a few Minor Details. Thank you Scott and Charmaine!!! Dr. W.

It was a pleasure hosting Dr. W on her recent stay in the Bahamas. Dr. W. was extremely pleasant, communicated well with the staff and took great care of the property. Dr. W. has a very warm and embracing personality and I felt like I had known her a long time. I rate Dr. W. as a 10 out of 10 as a guest and I would recommend her to any host that she might seek to engage. As our guest mentioned, we dropped the ball on 3 items that were not in place upon check in.... there was no iron in the unit so we had that delivered to the unit the next morning; the clothes dryer switch was broken and repaired the next day; there was no garbage bin in the kitchen until the following day. Dr. W. did not sweat the small stuff, she simply asked that the items be put in place the next day. Thank you for being so understanding Dr. W. As this was the very first rental for this particular unit I guess my team overlooked the items in haste. Thank you again for making us your preferred choice in the Bahamas. Scott
