The property was absolutely gorgeous! The views were stunning, the river was wonderful, all amenities were top-of-the-line. We stayed 3 nights for a family & friends get-away, spent 1 full-day just hanging out at the beautiful pool & deck area & played games. The other day we floated the river. Highly recommend!

Absolutely stunning property with breathtaking sunset views! Our stay at this home was an absolute dream from start to finish. The highlight of the property is definitely the spectacular infinity-style pool overlooking a vast, lush valley. Watching the sunset from the water or the lounge chairs felt like being at a private luxury resort. The house itself was immaculate, spacious, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The outdoor deck and patio area provided the perfect setup for grilling and relaxing in the evenings. The host was incredibly responsive, welcoming, and helpful throughout our entire visit. If you are looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway with top-tier amenities, this is the place to book. We cannot wait to come back!

The pictures on the Internet do not do this beautiful property justice. Not only is the home in pristine condition, but the views are spectacular. In addition, the communication from the owner Cristal was outstanding. As someone who owns a number of vacation rentals myself, I know it is not an easy task to make sure a property exceeds the expectations of the guests. This property does. Congratulations Cristal on having such a beautiful home and for your kind hospitality. We will be back!

Gorgeous home with a breathtaking view! We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, rocking chairs for coffee in the morning and the upstairs balcony was perfect to watch the storm that rolled in one of the nights we were there. Already planning to return! Great communication with the host. Perfect place to get away with your family and maybe one other family. Kitchen is well stocked for making breakfast- particularly loved the big pan that can make over a dozen eggs! Nice grill to make burgers and steaks! 5 star review all the way!!!

This property was absolutely amazing! I would definitely stay here again. We had such a blast! So many memories made here. The layout of the house worked perfectly for us. The beds were super comfortable. The surround sound in the living room, felt like an actual movie theatre. The view alone looks like something out of a magazine, the pool and the hot tub were a big hit with the teens and the kids. The host was more than accommodating. We absolutely loved our stay! River accessible we found driving up to Nichols Landing if you already have a tube is a great place to get in to float down (1 entry fee per person) to the house was about 2.5 hr float. There are several breweries nearby, and the caverns/zoo was about 30 min for a family outing.

Best weekend EVER!

This amazing river front home sits on 4.5 acres with vista views for miles and miles. We swam in the river and infinity edge pool. We played pool and games in the game room. We relaxed on the deck with a drink in hand and enjoyed birds sing, the stars and the views. It is close to the cute towns of, Wimberley, Boerne, New Braunfels, Canyon Lake and 30 minutes from San Antonio airport. I was here for a girls weekend and we didn’t need to leave the house. The property was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The host was responsive and easy to work with. I highly recommend this home for your next getaway. I know we will be back. 5 stars!!

I was at the house during the July 4th floods. The house sits on the steeper side of a cliff, with a ranch directly across the river. It rained non-stop continuously basically from the time I got there until packup time sunday morning. There was no risk of flooding even though the river swelled 300-400 ft outside of the bank up the slope of the ranch on the other side. We feel incredibly fortunate to have been at this house during the storm. Our hearts go out to the other families who were on the river and are now facing a profoundly different and painful reality marked by incredible loss. Please continue to praying for each and every one of those families. This place and overall property is amazing. Cristal (host) is super responsive and accomodating. There is tons of space for 2 x family of 4. Everything was clean, beds were super comfortable.

Yes, such a tragedy! Thanks for the request for continued prayers for these families and the search and rescue crews who have been working daily since that day. Thank you for the nice review and so glad you and your family felt safe during these horrific floods.

This is the first place we want to come back to after all the different VRBO's. It was clean inside and out, most places only clean the inside. The patio door tracks were clean and the heavy doors were easy to open and close. The only thing I could not do was get to the river but I am 73 years old, the rest of the group made it just fine. I was able to sit at the table that over looked the river and watch everyone, even the grandkids. We all had a blast and the pool was great as well. Between the river, pool and gameroom we did not have time to get in the hot tub, but will try it next time.

If you’re looking for a rental property in the Texas Hill Country stop looking now and rent this one!the pictures online do not do it justice. The Guadalupe River Vista is everything it says and more! The views were amazing! The infinity pool was beautiful and the hot tub was situated with the same beautiful view! We enjoyed the deer and birds and we even saw a gray fox! The property is located in a good area to visit all the quaint towns the Hill Country has to offer! It’s also central to travel to Austin or San Antonio. The property was clean, the beds comfortable, and everything in working order. The host was very responsive to messages and seemed to genuinely want her guest to feel comfortable and to have a good time! Thank you Cristal for everything! We loved your home!

This property is exceptional. We truly enjoyed our time here. All members of our family had a good time. My parents and my kiddos all had fun and relaxed. Tastefully decorated and great location by the river. In the words of my ten year old “this is better than a five star hotel”. Thank you Cristal for your hospitality.

Sobre o anfitrião

Anfitrião: Cristal Breckenridge-

Imagem do perfil do anfitrião
We are always looking for special and unique properties that we ourselves would enjoy and so we like to share them. We have been doing this since 2005 when we purchased our first property in Telluride Colorado. Since that time we have also added properties in Cabo San Lucas, Port Aransas TX, and now in the TX hill country on the Guadalupe River.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

This house is very unique in that it has views due to it sitting high on a bluff and over 300 ft along the Guadalupe River.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

This house offers you access to the full 4.5 acres with access to the Guadalupe River. There are a few public parks around the area where you can rent the tubes/kayaks or launch from the river at the house. Great for fly fishing or just soaking up the sun with the infinity pool. The neighborhood has a country feeling with lots of deer and wild life.
