This Mediterranean Style Villa overlooking the beach below and Pacific ocean in costa rica is furnished with luxury and comfort in mind. The living room and all of the bedrooms have unbelievable view of the sunset sinking down into the Pacific.

All rooms have separate air-condition units for your comfort. The infinity edge pool looks as if it is flowing off directly into the pacific ocean.

What a place to unwind after a great day of fishing, golfing or outdoor adventures. The patio and Jacuzzi are where you will want to be for the unbelievable sunsets overlooking the Catalina Islands.

The host was very accommodating, the house is very comfortable and quiet, perfect to relax and the views are never-ending. The fact that is pet friendly makes this house a gem.

Gorgeous house with amazing views. Some maintenance is needed to house Dishwasher wasn't bolted in properly and kept falling out. The big problem was actual location vs advertised location. It was advertised as a few minutes walk from the beach. It's actually a 40min walk from the beach on a difficult steep dirt road .

This house had been the best place were we stayed in Costa Rica. Amazing views from all the house, each bedroom have private bathroom and terrace to enjoy the ocean view and sound. Very well equipped, helpful staff, close to restaurants and beautiful beaches.

Home was just as described! Fabulous location. Incredible views. Silvia, the on-site housekeeper was incredible. Lovely person who does her job well, and a joy to get to know her. We will definitely be back again!!

Absolutely Perfect Stay in Portrero!

We had an incredible experience at this 4-bedroom villa. The house was spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed — plenty of room for our group of 5 to relax in comfort. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, which made it feel like a private resort.The pool was a highlight — perfect for cooling off after the beach or enjoying a sunset swim. The air conditioning worked great throughout the house, and having a dryer, secure parking, and even breakfast available made everything feel easy and convenient.The location is fantastic. We were just a 5-minute walk from Playa Potrero and a short drive to Flamingo Beach and Penca Beach. The area felt safe and peaceful, and the views were beautiful.This place exceeded our expectations. If you’re looking for a luxurious, pet-friendly rental with all the comforts of home in a stunning location, this is it. We’ll definitely be back!

Amazing Views

This house was perfect for our family of seven adults. We especially loved the views. In addition Lilian, Antonio and Sylvia were wonderfull by helping us to book excursions and keeping the grounds and house very clean. The beds were the only feature that require improvement as they were not very comfortable.

Amazing view and sunsets!

This view is amazing and the sunsets are incredible! Quiet area and still close to all you need! The town had all the groceries and fresh fruit we needed for our stay. Plenty of really good places to eat all around. Close to the marina if fishing is your thing! Close to hiking and waterfalls if that’s what you want to do. We had a lot of birds all around us and monkeys, too! Silvia kept the property spotless and is so sweet and kind! Any questions we had or recommendations we asked for regarding the area were answered promptly! No doubt we would stay here again!

Most beautiful place we’ve ever stayed in.

The road up the hill is absolutely horrible even by Costa Rica standards. But the house is better than the photos. The only knock I can give it is one of the bedrooms is downstairs and you have to go up the outside stairs to reach the rest of the house and it doesn’t have hot water in the bathroom. The view is breathtaking and Silvia is an absolute sweetheart and does a great job. All in all I highly recommend it.

Family vacation

The property is very nice with a stunning view! The concierge and house keeper were excellent and a great deal of help for all aspects of our trip. The only negative points I have are the location is difficult to access with poor road conditions and the house is advertised as newly renovated. It is very nice but the renovation was not recent and there are portions of the property that are tired and worn. You should invest in a new mattress in the master bedroom as everything slopes to the middle and sleeping was uncomfortable at times.

Amazing Place!

I'm from Costa Rica, but I have been living in Austin, TX for more than 20 years. I love to visit Costa Rica with my husband and family at least three times a year. Honestly, our experience at this beautiful house was awesome. The VRBO/Homeaway pictures simply don't do it justice. The caretakers of the house were really kind and friendly. There were four little markets (pulperias) closeby to get any supplies we needed. We highly recommend this house, as it is really nice inside and outside and the view is second to none. We enjoyed this house a lot, especially our kids, and we didn't want to leave since we were having a blast! I can't wait to visit this house again!

Would book again

We had a early flight and ended up house way early. Used the contact info and was able to get in a few hours early with the maid Sylvia and her husband. Both live on the property and were so so helpful. Her husband helped me contact and speak with rental car company bc I had issues and needed a new car. He then also waited outside for 3 hours with the company waiting for tow truck so I didn’t have to. House was just like the pictures. Clean and amazing. Very close to a lot to do and amazing views. Even with the heat and humidity the bedroom ac units work amazing. House was def worth it.

Beautiful home with lots of potential

The house has an incredible view and is in a good location for visiting Playa Flamingo and Las Catalinas. With that being said, the road getting to it is steep, checkered with potholes and is a worrisome drive at night especially. I would not try this with a sedan. The host was extremely gracious at checkin, even getting us into the home early, and provided us with a lot of information about the surrounding area. The space in the home is great and is well set up. A few drawbacks include the AC units in the main living area and upstairs bedroom are not nearly strong enough to keep up with the heat and there are not screens in the windows, meaning you sweat in the main living area. The house also needs painted, light bulbs replaced, and just some general updates. Finally, there is someone else that lives in a part of the home. I feel like that should be listed. She's very kind and helpful where she can be, although she does not speak English. She's not around much, but knowing she was there made my teenagers uncomfortable. All in all, this house has some major potential, but needs a few updates.

Great home in Potrero with million dollar view

The home is conveniently located in Potrero with an easy drive to all beaches and restaurants. This house had everything we needed for our group of 6. The outdoor area is the best feature with a million dollar view (personally, I would suggest removing the dead looking tree which detracts from the view). The pool is amazing and a perfect temperature. The pool table was great fun for the entire family. The layout of the house was convenient and comfortable. The kitchen was sufficient for cooking meals. The interior could use a little TLC with some minimal up keep/repairs but nothing that hindered our stay. The hill to the home is steep but nothing to worry about…any type of vehicle can manage. The beds were the only complaint from the family - they are extremely hard and could use some upgraded bedding. Antonio and Sylvia were delightful! They kept the interior and exterior/pool/patio very clean during our stay. We appreciated their helpfulness and enjoyed talking with them. Overall, we really enjoyed our time and would return again!

One week stay

House is in a great location. Only issue we had with location was at immigration, they wanted a physical address and we did not have one just a house name and they were not satisfied with that. It says hot tub but it does not work so don’t plan on having a hot tub. Pool is pretty and good temp but not heated. Beds and pillows need to be replaced. Had all the glass wear and plate you need. Most vrbo in USA you leave condiments behind so you have some stuff there from othered and leave more when you leave. Not the case here. You will not find anything there. Ice machine does not work, so no ice and no ice cube trays so bring some with. Host was nice and maid was great. She was there to give us keys. We were unsure about what to leave as a tip for her so we left 175.00 I suggest host getting a new cooler and some beach chairs or leaving what guests leave behind so the house has more supplies. We had a great time and view was amazing

Excellent Girls’ Trip

The house is in a scenic and quiet location! We got in the pool almost everyday to enjoy the beautiful sunset. Every morning Ms. Silvia arrived bright and early to clean the pool (and anything else needed). Minutes from many local attractions and the excursions were handled by the house and were fantastic! Luis was our fearless tour guide! We recommend to everyone!

Perfect house with a few inconvenient

House is beautiful has beautiful views check in process very fast they give you the address and you just show up the cleaning lady is there to give you the keys our stay was good Silvia and toño are very nice kept the house and out doors very clean house is beautiful just two things we didn't like was the water in the swimming pool is freezing cold and the jacuzzi was also freezing cold the other inconvenience we had is the bedding the mattresses are so old and uncomfortable we were not able to sleep comfortably if you think your going to have resort style mattresses and pillows this is not the place also the washer was old they replaced it 2 days before we were leaving also the kitchen needs more pot and pans they have old old ones but everything else was perfect thanks

Quick two night stay

The house was great and the view was even better. Sylvia was extremely helpful and super friendly. The road up the house was a little rough, but easily doable without 4 wheel drive. Would highly recommend this place for friends visiting in the future.

Portrero Paradise

The property was beautiful and the view was amazing! Pool and billiards were a hit with the kids. The patio veranda was awesome with views of many tropical birds and one evening we had monkeys in the trees in the distance. Antonio and Silvia were very nice and helpful. So many amazing beaches within a short drive. Highly recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle.

What a view

Have stayed here before and the view in the morning with coffee and at sunset with an Imperial is beyond belief! Love this place. House is roomy and comfortable. Housekeepers keep inside and outside very clean and ready to use. New grill allowed us to cook outside a little and it was just a “fit” for the vacation. Close to restaurants, groceries and great beaches! Road up the hill is unpaved and steep but that is how you get the view. Will return!

We Built this house in the flamingo area because we like the long range views of the catalina islands and the town of flamingo. We also love the dry climate. When we come here for vacation even in the green season we hardly ever lose any days to rain. We love to unwind and watch the sun drop into the pacific sitting in the jacuzzi after a long day of adventures while listeneing to the waves crashing down below on the beach.
