Welcome to Stork's Nest, one of the most relaxing beachfront homes in secluded South Walton. This 3,000 square foot home sits directly on the gulf and sleeps 20 people comfortably. Stork's Nest boasts 6 bedrooms and 6 full baths providing private suites for all guests and a private pool! Guests can request pool heat for an additional charge. The home also features two expansive balconies with breathtaking views of the private sugar white sand beach and emerald green waters. The perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or take in the unparalleled sunsets!

Stork's Nest is located directly on the beach in the secluded neighborhood of Gulf Trace, a peaceful neighborhood in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. The home offers a wonderfully open floor plan allowing many people to gather in the kitchen and living spaces all overlooking the pristine waters and powder soft sand. Featuring a fully equipped kitchen and multiple dining spaces, this rental home is perfect for large groups and family gatherings. Each bedroom offers a partial, if not, gorgeous unobstructed view of the gulf and a flat screen television. This home has it all if you are looking for the utmost in your Destin vacation. Early Spring Break Trip

Overall our stay was excellent! We had lots of fun at the beach and pool. Weather was a little rough when we arrived. Gulf of American was closed due to weather. But had some really nice days overall. The BBQ grill is on its las leg and takes a long time to BBQ steaks. The house is very clean and spacious. The house came with two beach chairs and umbrella but felt that for a home that can sleep 20 should have a few more available with the rental. We will for sure be back and we had an awesome time!

Great location

We enjoyed the stay, especially the proximity to the beach. We were able to let our kids run free and still see them from the deck. The house is older and could use and updating. There is no pantry, which was a huge issue for grocery storage. Overall, we enjoyed the location the best!

Family birthday celebration

The property is top notch. The neighborhood, the location, the house itself is perfect. The home is well appointed, and doesn’t have a bad bedroom or setup anywhere. All the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. There is even two refrigerators, plus an ice maker, which was wonderful! Plenty of chairs around the pool, and everyone enjoyed the porch swing. The only complaint I have is the house needs a good deep cleaning. If you move furniture or appliances, underneath is filthy. And there is an obvious rodent problem that the owners/realtor needs to address. Had to have maintenance come remove a dead rat, that got stuck, it was so big. trying to come out through the fireplace, and a sealed bag of nuts, that was left out, was completely chewed into and eaten.

This place is amazing- best house I’ve ever stayed at in Santa Rosa Beach. Location is perfect, large well lit rooms, incredible pool on the deck overlooking the beach. Super quiet neighborhood. I can’t think of one thing that wasn’t great.

Paradise

We rented for my daughter’s birthday just family and it was great. Right on the beach and there was hardly anyone on it. Like having your on private beach. The pool was heated and felt great.

Awesome experience, right on beach...

Big beach house, 6 rooms and plenty of extra space. Swimming pool on beach side ... ocean view while in pool. Many other properties advertise they are beach house with ocean view, but they're not actually ON the beach ... however, this beach house IS smack on the sandy beach ... love having morning coffee while looking at the sunrise over the ocean and sand. Great place .... you will love.

Storks nest

Property was beautiful! Paying to have the pool heated was well worth it. The kids spent a lot of time in it since the ocean was still a little cold. We had 17 people and didnt feel cramped at all. Only complaints were that the windows were missing the cranks to open them and the sliding doors to the porches were hard to open. The property could use a toaster. We were given plenty of towels, but not nearly enough washcloths. Was a fantastic vacation and we would definitely book this property again!

Five star was great to deal with Beautiful ocean front property Loved our time relaxing, enjoying white beaches and swimming in heated pool Great location for Sunrise and sunset Beds. Very comfortable Plenty of plates utensils etc in kitchen Highly recommend bonfire we used Anthony With Light Me Up 30A and their number is 850-381-9452. His service was five star plus! Call a head about high chairs we were told there was only one so we rented 2 There is actually a high chair and booster seat in the house Highly recommend this location.

Beach front with pool

The only thing that kept my review from 5 stars was due to a maintenance man randomly showing up (not blaming the actual maintenance man) luckily our baby was awake so his knocking didn’t completely disturb us but it’s annoying to be paying for a private home for just a few short days and they couldn’t manage to schedule the maintenance work to be done after we checked out?? The house itself was very nice and we stayed in the heated pool almost the whole time. Also none of the doors from the bedrooms opened up to the balconies aside from one. The beds are extremely uncomfortable and I suggest maybe bringing your own pillow to make sleeping more comfortable. We had a fabulous vacation and would consider staying here again. We also appreciated a high chair being there since we had a little one.

Perfect beach house

Four adults and four children stayed 1 week in Dec 2018. There was plenty of space indoors for everyone. The heated pool was used nearly every day. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed. Groceries weren’t too far away. We brought beach towels as recommended. The beach is clean. One day we walked along the beach 2.5 miles to the nearest shopping area with food trucks. The kids all had a blast even on the rainy day.

Loved the location

The house was as spacious and comfortable as we expected. The beach was awesome. Great location -- private but yet not far from restaurants & shopping. We were disappointed that the "heated" pool was not working, as advertised. Also had difficulty getting cable to work on the TV's. Had to stream Net Flix from our own account to get any shows to watch.

Amazing house with amazing views!

We couldn't have been happier with this house. It far exceeded our expectations. We had a large gathering of family and friends... about 16 and thought we would feel cramped but were not at all. The house is fully stocked with cooking supplies. There is plenty of parking. The extra fridge was a bonus! We loved waking up every morning to the unbelievable beach views! We would definetly rent this house again. We made some very special memories here!
