Why spend your vacation driving? We are two hundred steps to Shinnecock Bay and a mile to beautiful Ponquogue Beach on the Atlantic Ocean.

A cafe open for breakfast and lunch, a seafood market with clam bar, and three restaurants are literally around the corner.

Great living space on two floors. The ground level has three bedrooms, two baths,and a laundry room. In addition a family room with summer kitchen opens onto a deck with three seating areas around the pool. Private outdoor shower.

The great room with newly renovated kitchen on the second floor has a deck for al fresco dining. Also features a fireplace, bar, powder room and office area.

Fantastic vacation and house, location!

Denise and Terry really made this feel like home and so clean and fresh! We are scent, must, dust, and chemical sensitive so this was a dream house for us. We (us and two teen boys) loved the living space, pool, outdoor shower, and location. The tasteful decor and comfy beds were a huge plus! So close to the beach and town made it fun for all. We have been living and renting in the Hamptons for many years and I would rent this house time and again. Thank you Denise and Terry for an awesome vacation, so relaxing! And thanks too for making it so easy for us, for sure the best holiday ever. (side note, if you like to cook, fully equipped, including perfectly sharp knives :) two barbecues, and excellent pots and pans.

Amazing location, incredible house and pool!

A home away from home, with everything you need and more! The house has so many amazing spaces for every activity; family BBQs; family meals inside; TV room downstairs; if you wanted to write you can draw so much inspiration; if you want to relax, there are many spaces to do so where your mind is free; the kitchen is fully equipped, with open plan sitting area.. and a lovely living area with TV (it was great to keep tabs on the kids whilst preparing food!). The swimming pool is where we spent most of our time! Relaxing and reading in the sun; playing in the pool was exactly what we had envisaged for our family summer vacation. You don’t want to leave at the end of the holiday, you end up feeling so at home here. The location was perfect too, we travelled to South Hampton, Bridge Hampton, East Hampton, Sag Harbour, outlet centres, the water park, we drove to the city too, all very accessible! The local Pontaquoge beach was incredible, and Denise and Terry left loads of information on where the supermarkets, beaches and best local restaurants all were. There are amazing food markets and art galleries, then you can go ‘home’ and relax by the pool. We have 3 boys and a baby girl (10,9,7 & 1) and our family all agreed that this was the best holiday ever!

The Best Hampton's Home We've Rented

We've rented for many years in various Hamptons. Denise and Terry's home was, by far, our best rental experience. The house is immaculate, beautifully designed and perfectly equipped with every beach or home amenity you can think of. For a large family, the house felt spacious yet comfortable; the house allows for large communal gatherings yet private, secluded "reading" spots. The pool is large and lovely, the outdoor shower is amazing and the kitchen was a pleasure to cook in. Denise and Terry were so welcoming and accommodating, working with us to make our arrival and departure seamless. Denise and Terry's house will be our first choice beach rental for every summer we return to the Hamptons.

Excellent, Excellent Vacation Home

Thank you Denise and Terry for renting us your beautiful home and for providing us with every amenity one could possibly need. Seven days of heaven! We had a wonderful vacation and the house was the star. Such a cozy, peaceful home. It was immaculate and the beds were sooooo comfortable. The living space upstairs beautiful and very relaxing. And we loved the pool area - a private oasis. You can tell that this was a "home" and not just a rental. We're hoping to do this again in the future. And least we forget, having the beach so close was a great plus.

Perfect Family Retreat

We spent most of July and August in this well equipped and stylish home. Having rented many properties in the Hamptons before I have to say this has been the best experience we have had. Denise and Terry are first class and they have made their home so welcoming to guests. The home is thoughtfully equipped with every appliance and amenity you would need to entertain or simply relax. The welcoming and stylishly designed upstairs far exceeds the photographs with many perfectly placed personal touches. The downstairs bedrooms are also well designed and comfortable with Ralph Lauren bedding and towels, a comfortable family room with convenient wet bar and laundry. Ample pool and beach supplies are perfectly placed so you can grab and go straight to the private pool or the bay which is just a 1 minute walk. I highly recommend this rental and look forward to many more stays. Thank you Denise and Terry for setting the stage for a very memorable summer.

The best in Hampton Bays

This was our first time coming out to the Hamptons. This house was perfect! First of all Denise and Terry were wonderful hosts. Denise was very responsive and helpful throughout the whole process, from booking the home, to providing us with a new blender and cooler while we were there. The house is equipped with all the essentials plus more. There was plenty of room for the family to relax, we loved the decor and felt right at home. Denise has decorated the place beautifully, including top of the line linens, plenty of towels, comfy pillows, and kitchenware for every need. The cabinets are stocked with plenty of pots/pans, dishes, glasses, serving bowls, spices, and much more. Our family really enjoyed the pool and the lush backyard. It was a great place to enjoy our vacation, our kids preferred the backyard over the beach! We loved turning on some music, bringing out drinks and snacks, relaxing on the lounge chairs, and cooking up food on the nice grill. Oh, and the kids got a lot of use out of the well stocked pool noodle basket! The location was great. The bay is an easy stroll just a block away. We enjoyed spending time there and meeting some local families. The Ponquogue Beach is 1.5 miles away. We made use of the beach towels and beach chairs, which were so nice to have. There are many restaurants close by, as well as grocery stores, and anything you would need. We could walk down the street to a nice cafe, The Green Door, they have great sandwiches! Rumba and Cowfish were a quick drive and our favorite dining places. Just over the Ponquogue bridge are a few seafood restaurants and charters available for fishing. We took a quick drive over to Southampton but honestly didn't explore much of Long Island because we loved staying around this lovely home. It truly felt like a "home away from home" for us. We hope to have a chance to come back and visit again.

Perfect !

We had the pleasure of renting Denise and Terry's lovely home for the month of August. We could not have been happier with our decision to rent this property. The description and photos accurately describe this property. Denise was responsive and easy to work with on the rental agreement and payments. The house enjoys a great location: it's about a mile and a half to Ponquogue Beach on the ocean and one block to the bay beach. My wife and I really enjoyed our daily walks over the Ponquogue Bridge,which offers terrific views of the bay and ocean. We also made use of the new public tennis courts nearby. The house is about 2 miles from the Hampton Bays train station and local shopping. The house is very nicely furnished and is very well equipped with lots of dishware, glasses, towels, sheets, TV/stereo, etc. The rooms are in an upside down configuration with the bedrooms on the lower floor and the living areas on the upper level. There is air conditioning on the first floor, but with the numerous ceiling fans, we did not need it. Denise and Terry have done an excellent job in setting up the downstairs bar with extra glasses and dish ware to make outdoor dining easy. The kitchen is well stocked for any type of cooking you may wish to indulge in.We enjoyed using both the upstairs and downstairs gas grills. The pool is wonderful and there is a lot of outdoor seating around the backyard. The pool deck has plenty of shade and sun. We highly recommend this property.

Everything you could possibly want!

We had an amazing time at this Hampton Bays's house. Everything was up to date and clean. The kitchen was modern and well-equipped. They even had top of the line (Henckels) knives. There were plenty of towels, and the sheets felt crisp and new. It was comfortable, yet elegant. Denise and her husband were wonderful hosts. We really hated to leave. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation house!

Lovely house and location!

We had a wonderful stay over August 2013. The house was clean, comfortable and well-kept - it felt like a home (rather than a vacation rental property) and was fully-stocked with all the necessities for cooking, eating and living. There were two great outdoor dining spaces, both equipped with a grill - one by the pool and the other on the second floor deck. Our kid loved the pool and yard. Less than five minutes' drive to ocean beach and a two-minute walk down a dead-end street to a little bay beach that is perfect for young children. Near restaurants and stores. The owners are very responsive and super helpful. They met us at arrival to go through the details of the house and even emailed us some information about the area before we arrived. After our stay, they very kindly mailed us a couple items that we had mistakenly left behind and forgotten about. Staying at this house was a great way for a family to spend some time in the Hamptons.

It's also centrally located for day trips to the wine country on the North Fork and several golf courses , Splish Splash and Tanger Mall.
Hampton Bays is a hop off the highway. No need to spend miles on crowded roads.

Our house has all the amenities of a year-round home but the feel of a summer place. Use our red wagon to take the kids or your cooler to the beach at the end of our block. If you just want to hang out, lounge at our pool, enjoy a barbecue, fire pit, shaded areas and outdoor shower. Walk, run or bike to the ocean across the fabulous Ponquogue Beach to the ocean, a three mile round trip.
Our tastefully decorated home has indoor and outdoor living areas on both floors.
